Hi
Well I got an Aneros about a month ago and have used it quite a bit.
I'm gay, so I'm no stranger to anal play, but I must say it doesn't seem to live up to its promise.

I stick it up my ass, and do contrations to move it in an out...
I get tiered of the contractions and I just leave it in.
I don't touch my dick and just try to focus on my prostate. Sure it feels good, but multiple orgasms? I don't EVER get any automatic contractions and I don't get any of the tingling or mind blowing sensations that many people claim...
As for spiritual connection, kundelini, etc...not even close.

What am I doing wrong?
Is there something wrong with my body?
I feel cheated!!! I've enjoyed getting fucked in the past, and I like fingering my prostate, but I've never had the type of sensations that have be described elsewhere on this forum. Male G-Spot? I feel terribly let down...maybe I'm just not sensitive...

HELP!!!

Dear NSF,

I'm straight and have had considerable experience in the past with anal play myself and have found the Aneros experience to be unlike anything else that I've ever known. First, the Super O experience does not rely upon large scale movement of the massager in and out of your anus, say like you were working a dil. So contracting in order to move the massager rhythmically in and out of your anus will be ineffective for producing a Super O. Secondly, where dils are used as an adjunct to a penile centered orgasm, the Aneros experience is generated by creating a synergy between anal, rectal, prostatic and abdominal sensations, that is, it is NOT penile centered. This is accomplished through the Aneros and the use of low to moderate contractions, rhythmic breathing and yes mental focus.

If you have not done so already, check out BEE LIne. Look at the threads entitled INSTRUCTIONAL and ANAL AWAKENING to start with. Both will give you an overview.

Lastly, don't give up, I understand that you've been working at this a month, but patience is a key here. It took me 9 months to achieve true consistency. Why so long? Preconceptions about how to generate this experience, expectations and impatience were all factors that I had to work through. Was it worth it? You bet! This is not to say that it will take you as long, there have been many who have gotton much sooner. However, it doesn't help to focus on that. Again, to clear the pathway to the Super O you must avoid the negatives. My suggestion is to allow some space 2 to 3 times a week for dedicated Aneros sessions, sessions where you have no expectation. At this point leave the expectation for your penile centered masturbation (which you don't have to discontinue). As a matter of fact I used to always use a penile orgasm as a way to terminate an Aneros practice session. I thought of it as a way of rewarding myself for investing time in the exploratory sessions. If you allow yourself time, time to explore your own body and mind, you will be rewarded.

NSF,

P.S. I doubt there is anything wrong with you at all. On the contrary, a great deal of what you've related is typical of most men (including myself) who have made their initial attempts at discovering this response. The thing to keep in mind is that this is not a instant gratification thing . It will take practice to make this work for you.
