How to keep good sensations going

Long story short: When you are having a session, you get some nice sensations. Perhaps some twitching or trembling, maybe an involuntary contraction or five. 🙂

How did you increase or prolong these early feelings to progress them into something really good?

I have a tendency to have a good sensation, try to keep it going, it subsides, I try to regain it.

Below is a post I wrote this week:

Yesterday's session summary:

Not bad! I used the MGX again. I inserted. I need about 1 min to get over that "uncomfortable object in my butt" feeling. Almost like I need to poo it out. Kind of burney like diahorrea, but it subsides after about 40 seconds. I don't remember if I've had this with every session, but it's certainly something I notice now.

I did the breathing and contractions (holding a baseline contraction on exhaling) as it says in the Wiki, and I got a nice trembling feeling. It felt "erotic", even subtly pleasurable, but it did not last long. I would say maybe 10 seconds at most. It felt like, if that trembling style series of contractions - tremblactions (a combination of: 80% trembling, 20% involuntary contractions) - if they had continued, they would have taken me somewhere real enjoyable. I've actually had SOMETHING from the Aneros that I want more of (not including the involuntary contractions I had about 2 times a few months ago, but which never returned)!

I found it quite a struggle to breathe slower! I am way unfit. It took my mind out of the zone for a second. When the tremblactions stopped, I felt the desire to "help" then return. Now it felt like I was chasing pleasure, not allowing it. 🙁 I got some back for about 5 seconds, but I found it difficult to assess the percentage of 50-75% and baseline 20% contractions and coordinating these with breathing, etc. It felt like such a workout.

After that, I had about, say 15 involuntary contractions.

I find that after a subtle good sensation has occurred, I lose arousal or begin to subconsciously think: "I want that back" - I try not to, but the sensations are good enough to remember.

I would say focus on the sensation, especially those generated by the p-tab, and try to do as little as possible. Try to maintain steady breathing.

After that "wave" subsides, avoid the temptation to try to "jump start" it back with strong contractions. Just relax, focus on your breathing, and it will come back on its own. To the extent that you do consciously "flex," do so as gently as you can.

One night of being too rough or stubborn can ruin up to a week's sessions for me. My weakness is I always try to push for a strong "finish" - too accustomed to T-orgasms. Sometimes when it's not going to happen you just have to let it go and end the session.

My 2 cents.

Hi MyTurn!! 🙂 🙂

You are sensing the important details and questions more and more. Letting your body stay relaxed so as to remember the tiniest details of what it is sensing from these sensations is the key. You ego conscious brain messaging isn't needed or wanted for that to happen. "I want that back" can frighten "that" away and distract your body/mind from remembering it in fine enough detail.

Mog's great phrase that the secret is "deeply relaxed submissive desire" is key too. Don't "want". Instead relax, feel open and submissive, open to whatever your body will do with "that", unbidden by your consciousness. If you want to be literal: be open to being entered, be unquestioning, feel only "deeply relaxed receptive desire" (a KSMO variant on mog's phrase).

At KSMO, we image this in Jack's metaphor of the fawn, the shy young deer emerging from the forest and seeing you there on the far side of the glen. It is curious and very apprehensively approaches to determine what you are and are you friendly. If you move at all, you likely startle it and it runs for safety. If you are tense and anxious yourself, even while being still, you give off a sense and scents of fear or panic too.

The key is to be deeply relaxed, present in the moment, not distracted, not in any way attempting to control the situation. Let the fawn come to you slowly, let it sniff around and sense you. Are you trustworthy? Are you a safe playmate? Will you grab it and hurt it trying to make it do something? Will you let it run and play with you as it can, as it will?

If you can receive the approach of the fawn/energies in this spirit and manner, you two gradually become friends and play longer and more vigourously, more energetically. As time passes and your play becomes more fun, more assured and you both want to get together more often, you develop the communication to invite each other at will and regularly play together. You have then become an adept.

The fawn has been maturing with you in this process. It finds a mate, another deer, and they begin having children, more fawns, who befriend you more readily seeing their parents are friends with you. Soon you have a rollicking, stampeding herd of graceful highly energized deer carrying you with them far and wide, as far and wide as you let them given the mutual trust and love between you.

That sums up my experience in my mixed Aneros/KSMO practice. This is not an idle children's story; this is the key to having aneros practice work too right up to the full orgasmic energetic life-force spiritual full energies range potential, as far as you choose to ride, IMHO and experience. All the very best as you find your forest glen and friendship.

Relax Observe Listen Desire Open Submit Trust Love

PS Your post arrived after I had begun this one La petite mort 😀 😀 I agree with you completely brother.

Wow, OP really took the words out of my mouth. It seems like I'm too dumb for this thing. I think I've already reached one or two smaller dry-O's a long time ago but it seems like every session gets worse. I'm also having those tiiiiny sensations and of course I've spent a lot of sessions trying to hammer them. I can say though that after a 3/4 year of regular use I'm experienced enough to not make this fault anymore (at least less and less often). Yet, they still disappear very quickly and even though they also reappear after short time they'll almost never get above a certain level of probably 30-50%. It just seems like, for me the do-nothing method does what it is supposed to do: nothing.
I also agree that taking care of correct breathing and concentrating on not losing focus is the hardest workout ever. And one more thing: As soon as I try sth different like another position (usually I'm on my back, feet on the bed) I'll feel the most nothingy nothing you can imagine even if I had some involuntaries before.

I'm right there with you greyfox.... I think as much as I try to remain relaxed, I am not.
I think I'm relaxed only to realize that I am quite tense with my pc muscles. I think the points made above are key, but implimenting them are difficult for me. you would think after all this time, I could get a hold of it, but sadly for me, no. a bit of smoke does help me with this and my best sessions involve starting with a toke or two.
my strongest waves generally come early, and while they do return, they are not as strong as the first. I find that changing models during a session will bring strong waves back at least for a time.
Isn't this info quite contrary to cave of mysterys post that is so highly spoke of regarding contractions?

Hi thhn and grayfox!!

I sympathize with your problematic experiences to date. As we all say here, every man's aneros journey is different and unique. And yet we each have numbers of similar experiences at different times too.

I too spent almost my first nine months here with lesser and irregular results compared to the major breakthrough in my practice at the end of that initial period. During this time a decided to try some deliberate muscle memory training using my MGX, my only model through those beginning months. I was getting just enough sensations that I could consciously feel the muscle actions causing them. I simply observed and memorized them, not trying to take control or use them at that time.

When I felt confident about being able to duplicate the muscle movements having practised with nothing inserted, I tried consciously duplicating these muscle actions with the MGX just passively inserted, without waiting for the feelings to possibly, or not, start again spontaneously. I practised this and had early positive hints enough that kept me going. I called this "Polishing the Knob", that is I was consciously using the muscle movements of that excited prostate feeling of it "reaching out" for my wife's finger to actively rub itself on the MGX when I wanted it to, rather than wait until the involuntaries and contractions got up to speed.

This was also the extended early period when I was struggling to give up Super-T-ing as the finale for virtually every session. That was part of my early struggle. It was also when I joined KSMO http://www.multiples.com and began to explore that technique and to mix it with aneros sessions. I have practised a variety of forms of yoga and mediation over the last 50 years, and in fairness to explaining this muscle memory training technique, those experiences and others in physiotherapy have probably made it easier for me to do this.

Well the results of being able to consciously start by polishing the knob greatly improved my involuntaries and contractions effects ,and the prostate then taking control of the intensity of massage it wanted; and I was off to the races with the body/mind taking over and me able to deeply relax and follow the befriending of the fawn so successfully. Do you see this relating to or integrating the CaveOfMystery methods?

Pan and I talked about this approach (he too has done deliberate muscle memory training - we suffer similar physical handicaps and medical issues) in a thread here a year or so ago. The core of that is reproduced in a post in my blog: http://www.aneros.com/displayblog.php?id=3544

J4 has also done a similar technique and posted about it in his blog. I'm happy to chat further about this with you guys if you have any questions, by PM or during the chats here, or at YahooMailChat or Messenger.

thanks for that reply artform and for the offer to chat... I hope to take you up on that
when I was refering to cave of mysterys post - what I got out of that thread was to not be passive and wait for it but instead to use you pc and spincter muscles to generate the waves. Was that not the intention of that post?
I have joined the KSMO forumn as well and while I am not as faithful to that practice as I am with the aneros, I have made progress with it. I have a hard time to make time for ksmo sessions when every single opportunity that comes along, I want to have an aneros session.
If I haven't had a super O with the aneros in three years, do you think it will happen if I give up the aneros practice and go to ksmo?

Great thhn! Have you tried doing the Key Sound while having your aneros in; a mixed practices session?
For me that was vavavaVOOOOOOOOMMMMmmmmmmmmm...............

Certainly you can achieve Super-Os with KSMO. And many mix and match possibilities, as well as progressing your single practice sessions.

Chat soon.

I do use the key sound in my aneros sessions and am able to push the energy from my chest down to my prostrate which usually results in a nice p-wave. but that's all I seem to be able to do. I can't move the energy up or in any other way.
I posted this on the ksmo board and it was suggested that being new to ksmo I don't intermix the two practices.
would you agree with this?

There are differing views on that subject. Rumel, Jack and I had an interesting conversation about this in a KSMO Chat a few weeks ago.

Perhaps it is fair to say the consensus is that following what your body/intuition is telling you is a priority to see if it has some surprise rewiring accomplishments to demo, or to signal its best current possibility for progress. Jack is quite open to people experimenting outside the protocol and returning to it to consolidate and renew the core strengths.

I'm also happy to chat about the p-waves and energies interactions thhn, since that has become the focus and great progress in my own ongoing journey. 🙂

Just had another session...highly motivated to try out all the new tips as usual, even my level of arousal has been quite high in comparison to most of my sessions. I was really trying to listen more carefully and do less consciously. The results were another two hours of absolutely nothing and I'm starting to get really really frustrated. The first seven months had been very promising. Although I've had setbacks all the time, I could always see some kind of a learning curve but the last 2 month have really been terrible and even my very first session was better than the ones I'm having right now.
It seems like all the techniques proposed by the most experienced users seem to not work for me at all. From the beginning I got my best results with a lots of active contracting but this doesn't work anymore either. I'm really unsure which path to follow or what to do in general. I'm seriously thinking about quitting or at least making a very long pause.

Don't try in anyway to sustain the feeling beyond mental focus. On second thought, you would better not to think about too hard, you might over analyze and make it disappear.

See, this is what puzzles me to the bone. I've tried the do-nothing method for almost a year now and I've never gotten anything out of it at any point. OTOH the method of contracting actively seems to work in the wrong direction as well (at least it doesn't get me over a certain low level). And that is really frustrating, putting in hours of (mental) work w/o getting anything out but even worse not knowing if I'm on the right track at all.

I have been anerosing for a long time, although, the first 8 months or so, I had a GF, so I didn't use the Aneros much, or get to build up enough horniness (sperm). But it is only in the last 2 weeks that I have been practicing "properly" - more focused on the Wiki guidelines rather than randomly contracting and hoping. I am at the stage where I am sure there is something out there (or IN THERE) to experience, but far, far, far away from feeling the full potential. I can't give up now though. Right now, being single and able to focus on myself, this is probably my best opportunity to learn this stuff - right now.

the do nothing method is hit or miss with me but recently found if i start with the eupho 1-2 hours and get some good feelings going if i change to progasm i can just lay there with only very slight tension in my pc muscles and it works a treat constant pleasure and lots of involantries and super o to finish nice
