Only the Administrators of Support@aneros.com can delete your account, so you will need to contact them to do so.

As regards to your thread being closed, I suspect it had nothing to do with your topic but had everything to do with the violation of the membership agreement regarding posting behavior being displayed by a couple of the members. Yours is not the first thread to be closed for such behaviors. There have been other threads deleted in their entirety for more egregious behaviors. For the most part, members here are respectful of the varied viewpoints of this diverse community, it is inevitable that members may find their opinions diametrically opposed to other peoples opinions but that does not give license to make ad hominem attacks or abandon civil discourse. I have been a member here for more than seven years and witnessed several of these incidents, the Aneros management has shown remarkable restraint in exercising any censorship function and has rarely taken action to inhibit the flow of information or opinions (even when those opinions are misleading, erroneous or illogical). However, flame wars benefit no one and only serve to repress the free expression of thoughts which may prove of value to some. It is these flame posts which trigger administrative action and should be taken as notice for all posters to play nice in our little sandbox lest they get their posts deleted or be banned from participation altogether.

I do hope you will reconsider your membership participation in light of the above and invite you to continue posting, hopefully your fellow members won't sidetrack your topic into another flaming dead end.

if you read the thread you will see the posts that caused the moderator to step in, and they were not yours by any means.
