After using it first time I followed the intructions and washed multiple times with warm soap water. BUT I CANT REMOVE THE SHITY SMELL?? Any tips what is a cheap way to to clean the helix so that the smell is gone without damaging the silicon????
thanks guys
🙂
I use an antibacterial hand wash and hot water, and my helix sync always comes out fresh. It may be that when you have used it and washed it a few times any smell will no longer be retained.
@Hatsuhime when I'm done with mine, I wipe it down with a 'wet-one' and drop it in a small bucket of dish-soaped water and spiked with bleach (Clorox anti-bacterial) for several hours. Then I rinse it and let it sit on a tissue for it to completely dry. End results, it smells fresh for the next time. The only downside is the over time, the red parts are fading but that won't change it's performance.
Good luck andgood vibes.
Does anybody else get a crusty film over their silicone-coated Aneros? My DeVice will get a white crusty coating as soon as I open the box; it cleans off with some soap and elbow grease.
Any idea?
@Badger Yes sometimes, but it's only apparent when washing the syn models before use. The crusty stuff feels on my fingers like it was made of plastic or wax.
But not had this problem recently. Which makes me wonder if it's something to do with the lube I was using.
I think with Vaseline Jelly, it would sometimes have that crusty film. With the Crisp n Dry food shortening that I've been using for the last few months, it doesnt.

I use baby wipes and then warm or hot water with antibacterial soap. Not that you need to do this, but I have my body on a routine of having a bowel movement in the morning when I get up. I never use it before a bowel movement or right after.
Over the last few years, guys here have come up with several successful ways to clean silicone toys:
-- a few hours soak in a Polident bath.
-- an occasional run in the upper rack of the dishwasher,
-- boiling in a kettle (not advisable with a Eupho-syn due to the thin/precise design of the black silicone jacket.
Remember to always remove the Muse vibe capsule from the Vice before any "imersion" in any fluid.
