Hi,
Why does it seem that there are many ways in which a prostate learns to be pleasure-giving?
1) With traditional penile orgasms, doesn't some of the pleasure come from the autosqueezing / selfqueezing contraction of the prostate, untouched by anything?
2) With non-Aneros analplay, doesn't all of the pleasure come from direct contact of the object/member with the prostate, being touched purposely?
With that above, how is it that the Aneros method involves a longer "learning"? Or can the above 1) and 2) cases involve "learning" for some people? I know the Aneros is "a journey", but what makes it a train that stops frequently rather than a "fast train" like 1) and 2)?
a) It can't be due to the session being "on one's own" because penile/vaginal/etc masturbation is on one's own and I don't know any one (except myself?) who has to learn to gain pleasure from it alone/without intimacy/a partner there with you/etc.
b) It can't be due to it not being "used to being a source of pleasure" because in 1) and 2) it IS used as a source of pleasure. It already HAS that capability and capacity.
Does a vagina/clitoris sometimes go on this kind of journey too?
So why with the Aneros is it a different story?
First off all I think you are using ejaculation and orgasm interchangeably. I don't think that is correct. Ejaculation is a reflex that is deeply tied to our need to reproduce. It has to be automatic to maintain the species. Orgasm however is a much different beast. I think there is a HUGE part of the population of men that think they have orgasms but they just ejaculate. Sometimes I think we get lucky and orgasm while ejaculating however for the most part I think orgasm is a learned behavior. Have you ever asked a lady why she had to "learn" to have an orgasm? We think nothing of the fact that a majority of women have to go on a "journey" not that much different from the aneros experience in order to become orgasmic.
Chris_Social. That is interesting. What is your source for that info (re: men ejac vs men orgasm)?
How about non-Aneros analplay/prostate play - isn't this using the prostate for pleasure INSTANTLY without the need for a "journey"?
Do you remember the first time you pleasured yourself with your penis? Did it really happen automatically? Or did it take a lot of fooling around before you found out what felt good?

You have left out another possiblity for prostate pleasure, that involves neither penile stimulation nor any form of anal play, and that is nipple stimulation. For those of us who are fortunate enough to be wired that way (I know that many here are!), we can stimulate the prostate to orgasm by nipple play alone. At their best, these kinds of orgasms are full-body orgasms, and if one is going solo, there is the added pleasure that comes from the erotic sensitivity of the nipples themselves. From touching two points on the body (the nipples ) we get three zones of intense pleasure. How is that for erotic economy!

If you read my sig, you'll see that I am STILL on THAT journey TOO.
I seem to be travelling a lot. I want to arrive 🙁
O yea that was you in the other tread... sorry if my comment was insensitive. This idea I have about ejaculation vs orgasm has been formed from many diffrent resources. I am looking for some good stuff to help explain it better. Hopefully will have some links soon.

Thanks. Don't forgot to post here when you have researched it enough.
