Just a note here pondering the future. I am two weeks out of significant hernia repair surgery. Sadly it was not done "keyhole"; it involved two incisions fancy foot work by a surgeon. Making improvement every day but the recuperation time will take me until early May. So I find myself in the situation that after 14 years of Aneros use and Alesses multiple times per week as well as an active sex life of 2 x per week, I am going cold turkey for 6 more weeks. The question is I have never gone this long abstaining from everything before. Is it like a riding a bicycle as in I will stick it in and all will roll along as before? We shall see.

@gnawdol , here's wishing you a rapid recovery , I'm pretty confident that with your years of expereince you'll be able to rapidly return to your previous experience level. You might want to ask your doctor if it would be OK to perform Kegel exercises during your recovery period. This might accelerate healing and get your Anerosless practice back immediately. In any event...
GOOD LUCK and
Good Vibes to You !

Thanks Rumel !!!!! I was told no sex, lifting or exercise for 6 weeks. That's not bad. Fifteen years ago before I started Aneros I had open heart surgery. Doc instructed me no sex of any kind for 4 months. I was in my mid 50's at the time. Aneros use has benefited me so much in the last 14 years believe it or not it will be more difficult to go 6 weeks now than it was 4 months pre Aneros.

@gnawdol I hope you get well sooner than expected and resume your Aneros activities!

You might not have any choice in initiating your hiatus but, as @rumel mentioned, with your years of experience with prostate play, your prostate might not like being left without any attention for so long. It might start sending you signals; maybe a nudge or two to start and eventually progress to full scale contractions. You might wake up in the middle of a prostate orgasm.

Good luck in your recovery and hopefully your eventual return to back door play (and sex) be great!

All things sexual are like riding a bike. I just started seeing someone who hadnt had sex in 8 years (sexless marriage due to husband who had his prostate removed) and she hopped back on that bike perfectly on her first try. But still, rough. I hope you heal quickly! The bright side is that now you will have 5-10 hours extra a week to do other things!! Like contractionless aless.

You might be in for a treat. I find that after a break, upon restarting, things change. My sessions seem to restart just fine, but they are different. Sometimes more intense, sometimes deeper, or most recently, never-ending.

Give yourself time to heal. Intense Super O's may not be a good thing while recovering.

Hope you feel better soon!
