Okay all you veterans... I need some help! So I got the MGX as an early birthday present to myself. It arrived a few days ago and I rushed home from work today to try it out. After being at it for almost 2 hours! I gave up and "took care of things" the old fashioned way. What did I do wrong or leave out? I followed the box and online instructions. I'm disappointed but will try again tomorrow--on my birthday. I'd love to have my first Aneros orgasm on my birthday. Please Help! Any input or advice would help and be greatly appreciated.
Thanks! :(
Hey Drewsky!
Welcome to the community. I understand how you feel about getting some orgasms but using aneros is personal experience and not everyone gets mind blowing results from the first try. So do not be alarmed all you need is advice, more information and some patience. As strange as it might sound to you some aneros users spend years using it until they get to super "O". It is an individual experience and will take time, there are many guides written on how to get there and what are the best ways to practice you can find some of them in the sticky topics.
My advice is to be patient and do not force your body, I suggest to separate yourself from idea of orgasmic end since this is one of the limiting factors I believe. People get used to having an orgasm as some king of ending while with aneros it is very different, what happens is you fall in to an orgasm and it goes as you come out of it you feel about the same if not greater state of arousal. This is extremely different feeling to give you an idea of how different: normal orgasm is like jumping in to a pool from 10feel and having aneros orgasm is like jumping out of the plane at 20,000feet. Not everyone who will jump in to a pool is ready to jump from a plane. So process you will go through is called rewiring and it will simply get your body ready to jump out of a plane. It takes time and you should take it, but when you get there you will "enjoy the ride".
welcome again and do not hesitate to ask questions.
Thank You BoP

Drewsky,
Check out the WIKI first! It's a terrific way to get some background on the Aneros. It will answer many of the questions that you have now and provide you with some context for the personal journey that you are about to undertake.
Check it out!

Hi Drewsky,
Welcome to the Forum,
First off, let me reassure you that you didn’t do anything wrong or leave anything out. If anything you brought too much into the session, too much anticipatory excitement about your new toy, too much expectation of an immediate Super-O, too many thoughts about the how, what, when, where and why of this new sensory experience. One of the biggest obstacles that I have to overcome in every session is giving myself permission to “just let go” of all those extraneous concerns and thoughts and tune into my feelings and sensations.
Here’s a thought for your birthday, you’ve already given yourself the material gift of the MGX (a good choice BTW), now give yourself permission to “just let go” of the expectations and enjoy any sensations you do receive during your next session. You can not be disappointed if you have no expectations, the most enjoyable moments occur when the sensations you were not expecting suddenly emerge from within you and totally consume your conscious awareness.
Do spend some time reading in the WIKI as BF Mayfield recommends, he has given a great deal of wisdom to this Forum and is a wonderful source of counsel.
Greetings, Drewsky!
