Help finding my P spot?

OK, what really got me into this exploration was a few years ago I was getting my annual prostate exam by my GP. Boy when he touched the gland, I fell in love with his finger. Didn't tell him, but boy was it 'interesting'. I could have blown my wad right there bending over that stirrup bench. So I get several of these devices from Aneros and others. I have stainless tools, glass tools and of course the about 3 types of Aneros. But I have yet to feel that great P spot feeling yet. It does help me with masturbation, which since I have serious ED it's about the only way I can get aroused enough. Best way I find is sitting on my office chair watching either some porn or best is just screensaver pics of thin young, good looking to me, nude girls. So I start looking to see exactly where the P is and it appears that it's actually only about 2" inside the anus. I do get pleasure from the toys, but I'm still looking for just that spot that feels so good. What am I missing?

Also the Aneros devices, I don't like those handles or the button on it since I'm sitting in a chair, I'm thinking about just getting one that has a flat flange on it. For example https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BUKJRGC/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2VL4PKE7QRMLC&coliid=I2DFUEY5OHZ3M3&psc=1 I also have tried several vibrating devices and they just don't do anything for me.

Hey @Dogger,

You are not missing the point (quite literally), but your brain still needs to learn interpreting the stimulation as something arousing (and hence going into orgasm-buildup-mode). This process is often called the awakening of the prostate or re-wiring. It takes time and practice: the trick is not to add more stimulation, but to learn to sense little stimulation better. That's why small toys are often better suited than big ones (at least for beginners). What helped me the most, was a regularly kegel-workout. Training your pelvic muscles builds muscle-memory and greater sensory awareness. Your prostate is not a button, and locating it is just the first step: finding the pen ≠ writing a letter.

Also the Aneros devices, I don't like those handles or the button on it since I'm sitting in a chair, I'm thinking about just getting one that has a flat flange on it.

I can recommend the Icicle No. 45. I bought one just for the purpose you described and it works like a charm. Although you can sit on it, it still has a rudimentary p-tab (you can hardly see it on pictures, but it's pointy enough to give stimulation to that area). It's a little bit wider than most aneros models though - roughly the same diameter as the progasm.

Well, that may be, I need to learn more. But the thing was the Dr's finger worked right off the bat. I was sort of expecting something like that. I'll keep trying. But it still helps a lot with the masturbation.

From my experience, I would call that a lucky accident. Maybe the circumstances were just right, maybe you were more relaxed than usual - esp. mentally. You can throw a strike in bowling by chance as well, but doing it consistently and reliable is on a different page.

You may know from the mainstream media, how important foreplay and proper arousal are for women to set up the stage. It's the same with prostate play and super-O's. When you are properly aroused, every inch of your body becomes a magic spot. I already had orgasms from the touch of my ear or the hollow of the knee. Learning super-O's doesn't mean to find the right spot, but to train your brain, that any spot is the right spot. The prostate is just the best place to start, because it's not your penis (hence won't trigger the ejaculation reflex), but still rich in nerve-endings and already associated in your brain with sex.

In the wiki and forum you'll find some good tips about the right mindset. Going into a session with (high) expectations has the potential to lead to frustrations and ruining everything.

Cheers, Unfug

Well, as usual with my yearly exam, I was not particularly relaxed, knowing full well that I was going to get the 'unpleasant' finger up the butt. But I do understand what you're getting at. I was very surprised, needless to say. I need to do some more exploring, especially with the Peridise. I do seem to enjoy them alone as well as the MGX, but they're hard to control while sitting in a chair. I do need to find some time to explore some more in the bedroom alone. The wife is not amenable to this play, unfortunately, she's just not a butt person.

Yes, time and practice are huge factors. You may try a ring cushion (you know, the ones for people suffering from piles). I wish you the best of luck on your journey. You may keep us posted on your progress.
