Just finished yet another failed session. It's been years now. I don't use the aneros every day, or even weekly. I used to use it more often at the beginning but since it never works, I don't use it much, I tried it today and again, no orgasm, not even a new sensation.

Should I use it every day until I get it? What should I do?

@blohan,
Unfortunately we don't have much information to go on here.

How long ago did you start using an Aneros tool?
Which model(s) have you tried?
How old are you and what has been your experience of regular sex?
Do you have a partner with whom you can share your experiences/
Have you read the Aneros Wiki and if so, how much of it?

Seems to me that you could start by setting up a regular routine of Aneros use (maybe two or three sessions a week and try to keep to this schedule for some weeks.

Keep us posted on your progress. Best of luck,

Pommie

@biohan, Pommie is right it would be helpful if we could have a lot ore information.
Just a couple of extra clarifications
What lube are you using.
Do you experience anything at all when the toy is in place.
Are you aware of it,
Are any of the internal muscles holding it,
Is the Aneros generating any sensations at all.
Do you get any "twinges" at the time or some other time.

@blohan - As long as your body can handle it, meaning not in pain, then doing a daily practice is not a bad idea. It's something I often do, as my progress has been quite slow over the six plus years I've practicing. Just make sure you are aroused before and during the session.

I bought it 2 years ago or more I think, I have the Aneros Helix, I'm 30 and I am gay, so my experience has been gay? I don't know. I don't have a partner.

I don't really feel anything, I mean yes when I masturbate it¿s more intense and the orgasm is too but I've felt nothing because of the aneros alone and not of that shaking you see in xtube videos, unless everyone is lying.

Please note: I am very junior and don't have any great experiences.
It is good that the Aneros makes your your normal orgasms more intense.
The Helix does not seem to work for me. Perhaps another model might be the break through.
A regular regime I think is essential - insert, relax and let the prostate call the tune.
At some other time masturbate with or without the A.
Forget the xtube videos - I think that they increase expectation and frustration
The videos and "super" posts can be development killers.
The lube, type and amount may also help or hinder progress.

It might be helpful to have a more analytical approach in your replies as we are sort of flying blind with our responses.
It is very good that you have posted and seek information and encouragement

I'm still not sure if you have read the Aneros Wiki. I would suggest you read it thoroughly as I know most of your questions will have been answered there.

The only other advice I can give is that you should practice regularly (2 or 3 times a week), until you begin to feel some responses, as you surely will.

Many users have achieved success using just the Helix, but you could try the MGX instead. This model seems to direct the action more directly to the prostate in most users (as it does in me).

Well in the above statement, is probably the main reason you have felt nothing. Your expectations are sky high, and it is interfering with the essential interactions of your mind and your body. There is no guarantee that you will have all that body shaking even if you did suddenly gain some success from your aneros sessions. You may also be too "cock-centred" at the moment, and this will make it harder for you to achieve the mental shift to that which is required.

This is a pretty elaborate lie, if that is what you think it is - thousands of people contributing to a forum such as this, independently of each other. Of course, the whole of life could be a massive joke on you, but that kind of paranoia is not going to get you anywhere. If you want success with the aneros, you will first have to work on your attitudes and on your mind. Certainly do lots of reading of the Wiki etc., but don't think of it as an instruction book - it tries to encompass the range of potential responses to the aneros, but there is still plenty of scope for intelligent interpretation of what is going on.

Abandon ALL expectations, relax, empty your mind, and only focus only on any sensations you may have - no matter how small. Don't discount anything. Enjoy any sensation, no matter how small. Be patient. Be open.

Sorry isvara - the quote says it is from you, but obviously I did something wrong there, and the quote is in fact from blohan

I've been there. I understand your frustration and anticipation, but you need to be more relax and open-minded about this.

Ejaculation through traditional penile masturbation is vastly different from prostate orgasm with aneros play.
Like others suggested, I believe you have unreasonably high expectation of Super-O and I can say, with some level of certainty, it is very very different from what you're expecting.

There are few suggestions I can give you:
1. Stop jacking off for a while. Jacking off will hinder your path since it will dull your prostate stimulation.
2. When you're using aneros, do not try to force it happen. If you try to force it, it will not happen.
3. The key is total relaxation but what I've discovered through my aneros sessions (at least in my case) your body needs to be a little tense. This does not mean you need to force it and do whatever it takes to achieve prostate orgasm. My favorite position is to lie on my back with pillow under my back, knees up and feet down on the floor/bed while massaging my nipples. Your anal region still needs to be completely relaxed and let aneros stimulate your prostate, but this position will keep your body tense enough (just the right amount of tenseness) and massaging your erogenous zones will heighten your sexual energy.
4. Close your eyes and concentrate your senses on your anal/prostate region.
5. After an hour, if nothing much happens, stop and have a warm shower to take your mind off of your previous play. Relax. Every experience will help you step closer to prostate orgasm.

These are basically what I do every time I play with aneros, and just recently I've been able to achieve the good stuff like whole body shaking involuntarily...
Be open-minded about this and let your body discover what works best.

It will happen to you, too.
