I have a quick question for anyone using a Slightest Touch Stim Unit before I go driving myself around town 😉 - Does anyone know if reusable electrode pads are generally available over the counter at drug stores, or home medical supply stores without having to answer a lot of questions :-)? I recently received a Slightest Touch, and I know the pads are available on-line, but I don't mind supporting the local economy by buying the pads from a store, as long as I don't have to answer potentially embarrassing questions from the store clerks... 😯 Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read this, and if you have any info regarding buying the pads from a store vs. on-line, that would be great!
If you ask for electrode pads at the local drugstore the last thing that they will think of is the e-stim. There are many different muscle stimulators that use electrode pads. I am not sure about the interchangeability, but assume that the e-stim does not use a proprietary electrode pad.
Hi bonerowner,
Thanks for the response, but I guess I wasn't really thinking that the store staff would immediately know that I was looking for pads for a sexually oriented device... ;-), (it's not engraved on my forehead... yet... ;-)). Here in New York, for the most part a doctor or therapist must prescribe a TENS unit, and I didn't want to answer questions like "Who's your doctor?", or where did you get the TENS unit, can't you just get pads there?", etc.
So I was just wondering what other's experiences might have been if they had actually tried to buy the pads from a local store/pharmacy. Granted, I could just go find out for myself, or get them on-line, but I thought I'd check here on the forums first. I'm learning a LOT from this forum, and I've found some of your other answers to be very helpful! Thanks again, but still askin' 😉
Hi Big Guy!
I found a place with good prices and free shipping here:

Check it out!

a long while ago i had a conversation w/ the inventor of the ST.
he told me they put a lot of effort into choosing those exact pads. i am not an e-stim expert so i don't know if that is credible, though i have every reason to believe what he said.
if you look closely at the packaging of the pads, you will find the manufacturer of them. i remember doing a web search to see if they are publicly accessible to buy pads from, and they were.
so, despite the buy local inclination, i'd recommend you consider buying direct from that source.

Thanks for the input folks! Sounds in general that on-line is the way to go in getting the pads. Thanks, also, for the specific site info, as well.
