Head Space: a simple meditation app for mindfulness. Has anyone else heard of this app? As I write this there is over sixteen thousand users around the world using it so I'm sure there is. How do you like it?
At the moment I'm six days into the ten day free trial, although it's take me three weeks to get there.
I think it has helped me in my sessions with concentration, remaining present and becoming aware if my body, and of course in other areas outside of aneros.
The mental side of sessions has always been difficult for me, I'm constantly chasing thoughts and the last couple of sessions have felt more grounded.
I definitely would recommend trying it.

Perhaps that has had a part to play in a recent attitude change, in that while I haven't reached you-know-what and for that matter any dry o's I have this mind set, you could even call it this faith that it happen, I know that it will happen, I'm convinced of it and quite frankly I don't think I can easily revert to a former mind set. It sounds quite radical! Jaja
Of course I still have no idea about when it will, it very well could be years from now but that belief it there and I've reached the position of being content with whatever a session has to offer.
I had my first true do-nothing session last week, and it was beautiful, I noted at least three different pleasure moments/movements that were new to me including pressure/pleasure on the sides on my prostate by some internal muscle, to which now I can activate through mental focus alone.... I doing it right now jajaja.

You read it again and again, the importance of relaxing and removing the goal mentality that as men we tend to carry and it's absolutely true, it's so important.

Hey, @WM59 ,

I use Insight Timer, similar concept but completely free (with in app purch.): a meditation-timer, lots of guided meditations and a community.

Cheers, Unfug

Our brains process all of the feelings our nerves can send so everything we feel is experienced in the mind and that is why meditation is so important. Learning meditation is so very important to higher level orgasms for me.....others get to the same places without it but maybe not as consistent as with it.

As someone that has relatively more experience with meditation than aneros use I offer some thoughts to consider.
When meditating I still the physical body as a means to quieting my thoughts especially emotionally ladened ones. Once your mind is quieted you become aware as thoughts and physical sensations arise. As you practice more, the observations of sensations slow more and you feel a sense granularity. As if time slows. This increases the awareness of physical sensations in the present.

Apply these skills to aneros prostate massage by practicing observing the physical sensations when doing nothing or when contracting your anus or perineum. With contractions, practice doing more and more subtle contractions and see if your observation of physical sensation increases. If so, you're on to something! The irony of less leading to more. There is much to be discovered in the granularity of physical sensation. My best to all on your path.

More thoughts on meditation and aneros prostate massage.

Per my prior post regarding increasing observational skills of physical sensation to the point of granular single focus, understand this is a tool but not the end point.

Meditation is observational. The mind however is prone to mind-wandering, distracting from the observation of the present. Mind-wandering is a form of immersion in that what you are experiencing right now goes down an experiential rabbit hole. Everyone has experienced those periods of time totally immersed in thought.

To take advantage of this nature of the mind to immerse, as observation of pleasurable sensation becomes more singular and focused allow yourself to immerse into that pleasure and you become the experiential rabbit role that is orgasm!

Once your abilities of awareness, focus, and immersion are repeatable then know that the physical sensations awoken by aneros or a-less can be moved, in my experience, via the spinal cord and connecting nerves to other parts of your body to experience orgasm.

Hope this helps others on their journey.

I really enjoy the meditative approach to re-wiring. So far my MMO practice has been with very little or no physical stimulation, and it seems to be effective. Though I'm not sufficiently re-wired to have dry orgasms yet. Due to this it seems like I'm re-wiring my entire body at once, instead of mostly the prostate. Doesn't seem to matter what part of my body I stimulate, they all seem almost equally efficient. Purely mental stimulation also works very well for me, like visualization, but not quite as good as physical stimulation. This is so fascinating and it really shows that the only necessary organ is the brain.

Cool post and very interesting description/perspective of the "orgasmic experience."

I love the thought of meditation, and the thought of not directly stimulating myself for an O. But I cant help wonder if during this transition process will I lose my desire to have erections. I so enjoy fucking my wife or a slow morning hand job on my own. Has this happened to anyone? That you have come to enjoy prostate O with the Aneros so much you have lost the desire to use or play with your cock?

@Unfug Thank you for the recommendation, I'll be sure to have a look at it.

And to @rightBrain thank you for your time and insight. A wealth of information and honestly, it was a little over my head! Jaja But I will reread and absorb more of it over a couple of days.
I tried that exercise of complete focus on the feelings being produced by the prostrate and body last week, quieting the mind, and it was all too much at the time, too intense as if my brian was struggling to process those feelings. I need to ease into it.
