Having trouble with the Helix

Just received my Helix recently, tried it twice, was quite disappointed in the results...Firstly, i couldn't feel the abutment tab massaging my perinum when i contracted my sphincter muscles, at the same time, when i inserted the helix, i did not feel the pressure of the tab on my perinum. Secondly, on both occasions of using the helix, i felt a burning sensation each time i contracted.

I really hope some experienced users could shed some light on the problems i am encountering.

Sincerely!

Petrified,

The P-tab’s function, as I understand it, is to function first as a fulcrum point/anchor about which the Helix will rotate slightly when the anal sphincter muscles are contracted; secondly the P-tab also applies force to the acupressure point in the perineum during the anal sphincter muscle contractions creating a neural feedback loop to reinforce the action/stimulation to generate spontaneous subsequent contractions (the “involuntaries”). This action is not a “massage” in the traditional sense of massages.

The burning sensation could be from a variety of sources. The type of lubrication you are using could be causing a mild allergic reaction or perhaps the amount of lube was inadequate so Aneros movement created frictional irritation. If you are new to anal play it may be that your body is interpreting these new unknown/strange sensations as pain. This is likely to decrease/disappear as your body becomes inured to the Aneros usage. I suspect that is the condition you are experiencing. If the burning sensation increases in intensity or duration after eliminating any other causes, you should cease using the Helix until the burning condition is resolved. I hope this helps.

I am still a noob too, but I have found that the perineum area tends to become more sensitive after more sessions. A major part of the experience is becoming accustomed to that type of stimulation. I almost prefer it to penile masturbation.

Far as the burning sensation goes, you butt probably isn't used to having the helix inside of it. I had some soreness initially as well. Again, you become acclimated to it after a while.

analmart,

I concur with the other users, sensitivity of the P-spot develops over time. With respect to the burning, what kind of lube are you using?
