Have I bought the wrong model? (peridise)

Hello all,

As some of you may remember, I've been half-lurking on here for a good few years now, popping up to ask the occasional daft questions - very interested in the world of aneros, but sadly unable to participate due to living arrangements!

I moved just over a year ago and now I've finally got some peace and quiet in the mornings and evenings, I decided to pop back on here a few days ago to see what the latest aneros was. I was initially interested in the progasm, but it seemed a bit big, and I was going to go for the Helix before I noticed the brand new Peridise!

Stupidly, I didn't really read up on it as much as I should have, and going from testimonials on the forum it sounded like the Peridise was a great new toy, every bit as capable as the other models whilst not being too big, expensive or hard to insert. I just received it today, and although I haven't tried it out yet I have read the box, and going back to look at the official product description and guides in more depth, I'm a bit worried that unlike the normal aneros range, the peridise is not really specifically a prostate massager as such and won't work to trigger/re-program the body for multiple orgasms like the rest of the Aneros range do.

I'm not a complete stranger to anal play, having owned a couple of toys which I've enjoyed but found to not really lead anywhere, and I've succeeded in producing some very fun butt-flutters/mini-orgasm-type waves without any toys just using muscle contractions, deep breathing and concentration, but re-reading people's impressions of the Peridise, I realize that these impressions come from experienced Aneros users who have already 'made the connection.

Sorry for yet more stupid questions. Any advice for my first session?

Thanks,
VicViper

Hi Vic,

First off, congratulations on your newfound privacy!

Being a long-time aneros enthusiast and recent Peridise owner, I have to echo the other reports in the forum. The Peridise is simply incredible and my absolute favorite model by far.

As for whether it's a good choice for an aneros newcomer to re-wire with and achieve Super-O's, well you just might be the first person to answer that question for us!

Let me assure you that yes, the Peridise is indeed a prostate massager. Personally, I use the smallest Peridise model and have enjoyed all of the wonderful sensations, Super-O's, etc that the larger Aneros models provide, including hands-free ejaculations. So, while it may be more subtle in design than the other Aneros units, the Peridise does indeed provide stimulating pressure to the prostate. Of course, how much pressure will depend on a combination of skill, muscle tone, arousal, and how recently you've ejaculated. So please keep all of that in mind the first time you use it.

Remember that many people who are new to the Aneros report a lack of prostate sensations even with the Helix and other larger models in the beginning. But over a period of time (usually weeks or months), find themselves becoming more and more sensitive to the device until they finally experience Super-O's. And we all know it's not the device that changes, but the user.

I believe that the process could very well be the same with Peridise. Although it may require slightly more patience, and feel a little more subtle in the beginning, I expect that the rewards will ultimately be at least as good (if not better) as with a larger unit.

Personally, having purchased and used most of the Aneros models, I think I actually would have preferred to start out with the Peridise or perhaps the Eupho. They are just so sleek and comfortable to use, I tend to experience Super-O's far more quickly, more easily, and more often than with the larger models. Heck, I'm starting to feel a little jealous that you get to start your practice with the Peridise. LOL!

As for advice for a first session, I'd say it's pretty much the same as with any other model. Take your time, ditch the expectations, and JUST HAVE FUN!

Can't wait to hear how it goes!

Best of Luck,

Pan

Hello Pan,

I just had my first session, and all things considered it went pretty well. It's incredibly slender and unobtrusive, perhaps too unobtrusive, but once sensitivity improves it should feel more noticable.
Laying in a few different positions, I was able to slowly generate some very pleasant sensations and in a 2 hour session, even managed a few short (10 second-ish) mini-orgasm/full body trembles, one of which was particularly nice and sent my eyes rolling back in my head.

Still, nothing earth shattering yet, and the temptation to finish myself off manually kept getting in the way. For me, atleast, it seems that far harder than programming yourself to experience sensations your anus/prostate is deprogramming yourself to not have to feel them through your penis.

I'll just post a little info about myself. I'm a 26 year old male, still a virgin due to a combination of fairly severe social anxiety disorder and depression that makes relationships or even one-night-stands almost impossible and a strange but non-STD or fungus/bacteria related skin condition on my glans that manifests as redness, wrinkling, occasional soreness (due probably to the sensitivity of the area) and a collection of tiny little fleshy bumps/pimples dotted around all over the surface. Doctor's tell me it's nothing clinically significant, but as you can imagine, my confidence and self-image are pretty low most of the time and causes me great anxiety, even with reassurances. Sadly, this also seems to affect my arousal response and sometimes makes it hard for me to 'get in' to masturbation due to the feelings of being flawed and undesirable, even to myself. I just hope I can get past it before it puts a permanent crimp in my love life, and aneros sessions.

Sorry, I'm probably going into too much detail. Either way, the Aneros Peridise seems an exiting avenue for self-exploration and should hopefully help to improve my ability to enjoy myself. I'll report back as I explore this device further!

Hi jagbender!

Pan is the "Man" as far as experience in KSMO, Aneros use and others!

All I can add is to try some lite PC pressure on the unit and see if it escalates???

You know where to come for help, right!

Other than that, at this point, Just Relax and Enjoy!

Later, Hlaser99

Hey VicViper!

Well rewiring process is a complex thing many mention it but every person has to rewire himself(herself) in a different direction, it's a process of changing your stand point or belief of something, nothing more. Your body is capable of having multiple-orgasms but reality is so many people around you have no clue that their body is also able to have them. While you think if you tell them of this great secret to have intense non stop orgasms they will go and start rewiring process and will start going for "O"s, you are wrong. Why would they not? Well everyone has their own point of view a mid set so to speak a set of beliefs up on which they make decisions and if person is not interested in the topic and has a belief about it he/she will not bother.
If I ask someone -"how fast will this rock be going when it hits the ground if I drop it from this roof?
You will in general have two responses to this kind of question :
1) "hmm, well how hight is the building, how heavy is the stone and I need to get the formula (interesting)"
2) Who cares.

So same question can come up in your mid -"how do I have multiple orgasms" and two response go out and they are one of the above. If you are interested to try you look for ways and if you do not you say who cares.

Now while this all sounds confusing I do hope this makes some logical sense, rewiring process is a process of
changing your view point. In the same way you subconsciously look at your body and you have allot of these blocks that stop you from exploring and learning and make you sort of say - who cares about that. We all have it and often have no clue we have them, that is why it is suggested to be gentle and not to stress yourself since it is hard to change at once. If you find feelings your body generates not so pleasing but as you work with it you will begin to notice the pleasure you did not see before and it will get you hooked and that is when you changed your point of view and you are ready to go to the next belief, at one point you clean yourself to a point where you begin to orgasm your guts out and that is what I call rewiring process.

Although this rule applies to everything, imagine winning 250million dollars then think about how you look at 100,000 car from that perspective, that change of view point is rewiring.

I myself got beginners set of Peridice last week and found it to be very joyful, toy is small but it has a different orientation, it is not so much g spot stimulator as it is an anal toy. This is why they offer it for both males and females. Try to be little more active with this toy maybe walk with it around your room, I found that to be very orgasmic experience.

Had another session last night with the biggest Peridise, and Wow! A lot of progress on my second session. This time the peridise seemed to find my prostate almost immediately, and laying on my back with my legs bent I was able to generate some pretty intense feelings in my prostate and up into my penis shaft. I tried to force them a couple of times and found that while the contractions grew stronger (much like normal ejaculatory contractions), the fuzzy, pleasurable sensations tended to switch off. I then swapped to a different technique, relaxing completely and letting the sensations go on their own. This resulted in a much more gentle, slow sensation of fuzzy pleasure in my prostate and lower body that tended to go in slow building waves of about 30 seconds before fading. They'd then build up again, but any attempts on my part to force these to the next level tended to just scupper the sensations entirely.

After doing this for about 30 minutes, I turned round so I was laying on my front with my penis flat against my belly, with my legs slightly bent. I tried to completely relax again, and found that the dual sensation of my penis being touched but not stimulated by my belly/mattress and the new, seemingly more snug sensations coming from the peridise started to build into more distinct and orgasmic-type waves. The aura of these waves was much further reaching, definitely coming from my prostate and penis, but also feeling somewhat faintly present in my torso and legs. Breathing very slowly with my body relaxed as possible, I tensed the muscles in my PC muscles only very slightly, and could sense the peridise twitching slightly and slowly sliding in and out of my body, with every complete cycle resulting in it nudging my prostate and giving me a several second flush of moderately intense pleasure. Focusing on these sensations, I found they would become more distinct and regular. At times it was hard to keep my cool and the urge was very much to tense up and let the device 'fuck' me to the orgasm I desperately wanted, but I found that doing so would result in just a single, more powerful spike of pleasure before losing the sensation entirely. Keeping my legs from tensing up like I was ejaculating was hard, as was keeping the regular, deep breathing that seemed to encourage these sensations. I kept this up for maybe an hour, with these slow sensations building over the course of 5 minutes before peaking at a fairly strong pre-orgasmic plateau and fading again. One of these in particular began to build more intensely than the others, and I felt myself begin to flush and sweat and tense my body involuntarily. While I still didn't make it past the plateau, it was definitely a good deal more intense, and finally faded with a series of little butt-flutters.

Turning over again, onto my back again, I instead turned my focus onto my penis and tensed my PC muscles again, slightly more forcefully, trying to give myself a penal orgasm without touching it. The sharp, almost electric judders of pleasure became more regular, and my penis was bouncing around on my belly, dripping a fair amount. Again, I could push these sensations only so far, with a kind of pre-orgasmic plateau being reached that I couldn't quite push through. After about another 20 minutes, I was too tired and sore (my leg muscles, not my anus) to continue and had to call it a night.

All in all, it was a very enjoyable session, and far more than I hoped for at this stage. It's also helped to start to shake off a few of the anxieties I feel about my penis and desirability as a partner, so it's a bit of a win-win situation, really. 🙂

Thanks for everyone's help getting to this stage. I'll keep you all informed of any new developments.

Hey Vic,

congratulations on having such a pleasurable second session!

And now, thanks to your willingness to share your experiences with the forum, I think it's safe to say that the Peridise can indeed be a fine choice for Aneros beginners. Thanks for making such a great contribution to the group! It's kinda cool to think about how many future Aneros beginners may benefit from your thread, eh?

When it comes to Aneros practice, you sound like a natural. I recommend you just keep doing what you're doing, and enjoy the journey.

As for the self-image and anxiety issues, have you ever heard of EFT? I think you might find it to be very helpful addition to your practice. I've been using it for myself as well as with my wife and friends for all kinds of physical and emotional problems for the past couple years and I have to say the results have been pretty amazing.

The basic instructions for the technique can be found in a free PDF file at www.emofree.com. There's also a bunch of EFT demo's (some better than others) on youtube. You might wanna check some out. I hope you find EFT as helpful as I have.

In the meantime, I think we're all looking forward to your next report!

Pan

Hello again,

Thanks for the kind words!

Had another good session last night,

Inserted the aneros half way and after about 15 seconds it drew it the rest of the way in. Immediately, my penis started twitching and bouncing around and quickly swelled to an incredibly hard state - far more 'hard' than I usually get. this is particularly nice for me, since it makes my glans swell quite a bit more than usual and the minor skin condition almost entirely vanishes, leaving me with the penis I remember from 5 years ago. 🙂 I'm hoping that with regular use, the aneros can improve my erections enough to make this level of hardness common, even when I'm not using the peridise.

Anyhoo - the twitching was pleasant and I felt that hard-to-define arousing warmth in my prostate. The peridise seemed to know it's way around this time and was sliding and nudging within a few minutes. It's interesting, there seems to be a balance between relaxing entirely, which stops the movement, and completely tensing up, which also stops the movement. I try to slightly tense the muscles in the area, but also allow for movement to happen. Simply focusing on my prostate seems to send signals to my anus to slowly move the peridise in and out, which is great 'cos it almost feels like it's doing it itself!

After about 10 minutes I was still enjoying the warm, slightly-orgasmic sensations and their build to a small but pleasant rush, but I got a bit impatient and flipped onto my front. Attempting to relax entirely, I slightly tensed my legs and felt my anus relax, push the aneros out and then pull it back in again. Again, the pleasure built again, but due to my penis being pushed on by my body weight, it seemed to wire it far more into a normal orgasmic-type response and over the course of about an hour I had maybe half a dozen powerful, hard contractions that made me tense, flush, and even groan once or twice. The funniest thing was how my lower body would suddenly lock and shake rapidly, and the peridise would slam into my prostate and keep nudging it until I'd ridden the contractions to the pleasure wall. Again, one ride in particular felt like it was almost going over the wall to a long plateau-type rush, but it faltered and fell back.

My last one of these contractions was very powerful, indeed, I was shaking so much that my penis received enough stimulation to send me over the edge into a tooth-rattling traditional orgasm as I ejaculated over my mattress, almost hyperventilated and practically gave myself cramp.

I must admit, I am still a little impatient and still wired for the normal orgasm/ejaculation sensations, but the periside and I are definitely getting on fine. Frankly, it's starting to feel like my penis is a secondary erogenous zone, and that the prostate itself is the star of the show. Even as I write this, I can feel my prostate shivering and sending out little spikes of warm pleasure. It feels almost as if I could make myself come just by focusing on it.

Next time I think I'll try the slightly smaller unit.

Hi VicViper,

Welcome,
I have noticed from your posts, that when you flip over to the front, or on to your stomach, that you have your penis up against your belly... Put your penis down toward your balls, between your legs, it will make the session stay on track for a Peridise session, and not an ejaculation session, unless that is what you want of coarse.

You sound like you are on the way for great things to come !!
