I am curious if this has any influence.
I know there are some overweight guys as well as skinny ones having aneros work well, my question is if someone that gained or lost weight noticed any difference?

I am overweight although recently I started on a gym because doctors wanted me to exercise, so I will probably lose weight.
Not that I am afraid or something as aneros unfortunately didn't give me yet any wow feelings/moments only some pleasurable ones (yes, it's better than nothing, still it's frustrating after years that I'm still on the same stage - (now it's even worse but external factors likely have an impact on that)).

This may be related or not, but I seem to have not a sweet spot on the perineum. Everything feels the same for me (neutral). I wonder if for people with less fat the spot is more sensitive or something?

Back in my college years I was a Math-Science major and shunned any of the 'soft science" coursework (Sociology etc). However, degree requirements forced me to partake in one of those courses and I acquiesced to "Physiological Psychology - 218a/b" where the text covered Physiognomy (now days a most probably debunked topic.) The authors had some statistics that showed "Endomorphs" (round folk) had the lowest libido. "Ectomorphs" were the hotties in society and "Mesomorphs" (gym rats) were somewhere in between.

Should that be true, dropping a few pounds might better adapt one's body and brain chemistry to more readily orgasm.

My early Aneros sessions sometimes featured post session muscle cramps. @rumel suggested that general conditioning and pre-session stretching might be of help.

I took that aboard and during my first year of Aneros dropped three inches of mid-section lard, gained some facility with my free-weight performance, and beefed up my Kegel routines. Co-incidentally it took me 13 months from 'first insertion' of my Helix Classic until the initial intense, out-of-control, full body Orgasm.

@RSilva, reading the blog My Journey by @BigOluver lately, I remember him writing about some overweight and loosing pounds by pounds since using Aneros tools. I myself lost some pounds, too, though never been an overweight guy. But with all those involuntaries during hour long sessions - in summary more abs workout than when going to my gym - I already have build up a nice six pack and lost the last pounds to make it visible.
Did you ever try to explore the feelings you get when touching your perineum without any pressure, perhaps using only a feather? To me it is a most sensitive spot susceptible to the slightest touch. Fat may minimize pressure you want to put on your prostate, but I think these subtle feelings should remain unaffected.
Best vibes in a happy new year!

i think that losing weight and getting in shape would enhance the aneros experience. at its best the aneros draws upon a huge amount of pelvic floor muscle activity, as well as glutes and abs. sexual pleasure and orgasms are all about muscle contractions. the aneros is the best pelvic floor conditioning tool imaginable, way better than those kegels devices. Why? because nobody does kegels for an hour. but, a good session can last that long, or longer, and involves almost continuous (involuntary) pelvic floor contractions of a myriad of types, rhythms and intensities.

if you are not in good condition, those muscles can't get the proper oxygen to really take off.

I have noticed increased pleasure and intensity during my sessions when I am consistent with working out (running really makes a difference). eating healthier food (vegetables, nuts, lean meat) also helps.

Thanks for your answers.

Unfortunately I basically have no involuntaries. I already mentioned my super low libido (on the 12th I'll have an appointment on the low testosterone level I have and let's see what will happen).
The only thing I can call involuntary generally requires 1 h or more. I get hard and my body kinda does a kegel (not sure) and my cock throbs and the aneros moves inside together. This happens like once every 2 seconds or so. In this video at 0:50 you can see what I mean http://www.xtube.com/video-watch/Aneros-Peridise-Session-Highlights-11025821
I don't know what we can call that. They feel good but are nowhere near as good as an orgasm. I "think" they are dry-os "in rewirement" but they didn't improve in the last years.
Anything else I don't have. Most of my sessions involves nothing happening, and they last 2-3 hours.

Very often I fall asleep, at night or at morning. Not sure if my low energy/low testosterone may also make me sluggish than usual. I also take wellbutrin, anafranil and rivotril, I know anafranil has low libido effects but I had these problems even before it and in the last months the dosage was reduced to half with no impact.

So unfortunately I think the most likely is that I will fall asleep very fast when I come home from the gym. I go in the late afternoon/ beginning of the night as I'm working before, so I didn't even try a session after the gym, I'm pretty sure I will fall asleep.

Ever thought about hitting the bikes hard may have given your perineum some pressure with effects on your prostate?
Remember from school days riding my saddle provoking hard-ons or shall we blame it to the youth?

I used to depend on the device entirely. But ten years later I'm stsrting to notice the connection between core fitness and the pleasure I feel. Do daily sit-ups, crunches, leg up's, every sort of core exercise. Kegels during the day too, with no aneros.

I take natural L-citruline (precursor to nitric oxide, same chemical Viagra releases). Opens your blood vessels. Horny goat weed too build arousal. Chamomile tea (smooth muscle relaxant for rectal and PC relaxation). I sometimes add zinc to the mix to help form more prostate fluid, and LOTS of water. Your muscles cramp if you're even slightly dehydrated.

Lastly, ABSTINENCE. DON'T FINISH. Have a session and enjoy the feelings. DON'T CUM. The next session you have, the feelings will be twice what they were in the last session. Then do it again. Only allow yourself to cum once every three days at the very least. The device amplifies arousal. You need a base level of arousal to build on. If you start already super aroused, you're going to have way more fun.

@RSilva @rook

As a lifter and fitness enthusiast,I’d like to just add the morph body types has been kinda been debunked in recent years. Different guys have different genetics, bone structures and metabolism speeds, they aren’t really put into boxes anymore. Where Health and fitness comes into play is probably more driven by ones hormone profile. The easy answer for why heavier folk have lower libidos is that fat tissue is rich in an enzyme called aromatase. This enzyme converts testosterone into oestrogen, and the fatter you are the more aromatisation takes place, thus unbalancing  ones profile, raising oestrogen levels and especially lowering bio available testosterone which is the part with the ‘benefits’. Oestrogen is actually quite crucial for our sex drive and erection quality. But only in the small quantity we need, too much wreaks havoc. Slimmer guys aromatase much less so are much more fit for purpose. Fatter ppls hearts tend not to pump blood as efficiently as fitter ppl,and may have clogging in the arteries which of course affects blood flow which is pretty important at game time,ED medicines relax arteries so flow improves and then erect one becomes . So I would claim that keeping a healthy weight coupled with regular exercise should keep ones blood flow and hormone profile in check, thus setting proper parameters for good sexual function of any kind. Testosterone has also been shown to act directly on our feel good chemicals,as men with low testosterone often suffer depression which lifts if they receive hormone therapy or have a lifestyle change of diet and exercise which sends testosterone levels flying up the table. In summary, keeping yourself in a good standard of health can only aid your goals.
