I am looking at getting sliquid lube and was wondering if anyone had tried it?Its sounds like it is very safe.

all silicone

Silicone and h2o blend

H20

As usual it is cheaper to buy it in the US and ship it to Australia.

I've tried Sliquid Naturals Sassy with disastrous results. It gave me cramps and an intense need purge.

@braveneworld

I haven't tried the three varieties you've mentioned, but I have tried the one I believe @hywel referred to, although on the bottle I have it's just called "Sliquid Sassy". For a water-based lube that contains "no glycerine" and "no parabens", it gave me the same cramps and urge-to-purge as mentioned above. Definitely won't be using it for any anal activity, even though it's marketed as such.

Here's a video about the range http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=22102#videos . I get the impression that they are all based on the same formula.

Just don't use it on the Vice or the Syn; it could damage the silicone on the devices.

Thanks for the replys guys and thanks @Hywel for the video link it was very informitive. It has made me rethink.
I currently use GLYDE premier personal lube from glydehealth.com.
It is dirt cheap from sponge and things in there supplier links.
With the use I can not fault it! It actually lasts a long time and is Australian made to which is good coz that is where I am.
The strange thing is its ingredents are
purified water
propylene glycol
glycerine
hydroxy ethyl cellulose
polyquaternium 7, 10, 15, & 32
methyl,
ethyl
proyl & butyl hydroxybenzoate
phenoxyethanol preservitives
edta

Bla bla bla GLYCERINE.
I can not say that the glycerine has caused any problems at all. Maybe I am just one of the lucky ones.
But when I add some silicone as well and also lightly coat the aneros with Vaseline I could easily go 24 hour straight if I wanted.

I was looking at sliquid because it seemed to be all natural and ph balanced.
If it is ok for a vagina I figured it was ok for my butt.
After your reports and the video I am not so sure and then there the drying up too quick.

Maybe I am better off staying with what I have got but trying to source some silicone lube to add to it.
Silicone is so expensive. They charge double the price here in Australia. $30+ for only 125ml.
It would be cheap to get sliquid 255ml bottles of silicone from the US but they wont ship to Australia.
There are Australian online store that sell it but they only sell the 125ml and they charge double the price!
So I will have to do some digging to find a cheaper silicone solution.

Special thanks to my aneros Australian friend that PM me.

I have spent all day looking at silicone lubes and concentrated on Australian made ones.
It would seem I have wasted a day I have gone in circles.
I found a number of Aust made silicone lubes but in the end I came back to this website where I have just purchased my progasm Ice from.
http://www.physiosupplies.com.au/fitness/Wet-Stuff-Silcone.html
http://www.physiosupplies.com.au/fitness/Wet-Stuff-Gold-1Kg.html

$24 for 125ml of silicone (High grade) but it includes freight!
Its still not cheap but really it is the cheapest i can find in Aust.
I paid $33 from a local sex shop (walk in price)
I guess the major beauty is you dont have to out lay a large amount of money at once and the hope like hell it gets here without disappearing.

Not sure about the wetstuff gold 1kg yet I need to check how much I paid last time from sponge and things inc freight. It looks like it has the same ingredients, the only thing is it has a warming effect but it is still recommended for anal use. As long as it does not numb feelings.
It is a pity that you can not bundle things togeather for cheaper prices still.
Still not sure what to do, my head hurts I will leave it for another day when I am a bit clearer in the head.

@braveneworld - Have you thought of using lubes that are not specifically made for sexual use? It may cost you a lot less and work quit well. Possibilities that come to mind - cooking oils like extra virgin olive oil, grape seed oil, coconut oil, shea butter, I've even heard of guys here using Crisco. As long as you can eat it safely, it should be fine as an anal lube.

@Love_is Yes I have read about it. I sort of have a few reservation about it. Not sure they are really fownded thought.Worried about insecticide contaminates.
And about staining of bed sheets.
And the smell of the lube.
Those are the things that I am worried about but at the moment I am also limited to my mobility. Therfore if it does not arrive in the post ready to use then it all gets a bit to hard.
That might sound like I am slac but coz I can not walk or drive at the momment it really does limit me considering I am 20Km away from the closest supermarket.

In saying all that I do agree it would be heaps cheaper.

@braveneworld - I totally understand. I think the thing is, in my own experience, when I use water based liquid lubes, in my case the occasional SlipperyStuff Gel, I use a lot of it due to the need to pre-inject a generous amount into my rectum. So I feel like it's not necessarily as cost effective. My 7oz. jar of Now Foods unrefined 100% shea butter lasts for months even with regular sessions. Where as I don't believe the 16oz bottle of Slipperystuff Gel would last that long, and is more expensive.

That being said, shea butter is a tree nut oil and can stain the sheets, or at least make an oily patch or streak that is difficult to wash out without pre-treating. I just use a towel under me that I use for Aneros purposes to catch any shea butter that happens to rub off me. Thus the towel gets stained and the sheets are fine. When the session is done, it gets folded up and put away for next time. This serves me fine and I've been doing it for years with no problems.

Shea butter is ready to use out of the container. Although you may prefer to refrigerate it to keep it solid for easy scooping out of small chunks and insertion into the rectum. The only problem you may run into with your mobility issues is after the session, and after emptying out in the toilet, you really need to jump in the shower. As the shea butter will make oily patches and potentially stain underwear, or sheets if you sleep naked.
