Giving Eupho Syn the ol' snipperoo?

It's something I've heard is a good mod to the EuSyn, snipping the tail off it. What does this do, exactly? Is it for everyone? What do I gain and what do I lose? I don't want to spend another $70 on one if I decide I don't like the change.

Am I supposed to snip the whole K-tab off? Or just the "curl"?

@kaygo, from what I recall reading in past threads about modifications, you just snip the curl just off of the point below the main body than sand to smooth off any sharp edges. I also recall seeing both ways where just the curl is removed leaving some of the shaft to not completely change the original design but allow use while sitting.

It is said to help allow more movement, since that part is now gone it no longer pivots and hits the skin between your cheeks at the back allowing the tool to pivot into you more placing more pressure on your prostate when doing clenching.

I don't think there is any losses unless the pressure on your prostate is to much. but that can be adjusted by the amount of tension you place on the muscles either pulling in or pushing out. or start with just clipping the curl leaving some length and slowly clipping till you are happy with the amount of movement attained.

There are pro-con arguments for modifying the handle on any of the Aneros models. You might first read the Modifications to the Aneros in the Aneros WIKI. I don't know if the same techniques using a hot air gun will also work with the SYN models.

Is it for everyone?

IMHO, NO, if your model is performing satisfactorily as it is, why alter it?

Many Aneros owners have removed the handle-curly tail portion of their massagers because they believe that it improves mobility but primarily because it increases the number of body positions one may comfortably employ without inadvertently hitting the massager or otherwise disturbing the intended action.

What do I gain and what do I lose?

What you gain is a bit more mobility as noted above, what you lose is an easy removal feature, a bit of weight balance and (depending upon extent of cut) some lateral stability.

I don't want to spend another $70 on one if I decide I don't like the change.

That's understandable but it's a risk only you can decide upon.

IF you are determined to make a modification, I suggest you just clip the "curl" off to begin with and see how that performs. After a few testing sessions you could then trim a bit more off as @somebody noted above, but I doubt you will want/need to do that.
Good Vibes to You !

I may just leave it as is, then. The Eupho is mobile enough as it is
