There are issues with the Houston USPS mail processing center. Once HIH transmits passes the parcel information to USPS, there can be an extra day of delay before the parcel physically leaves Houston. To make this somewhat more predictable, you might try ordering near the close of business in Houston with the hope that USPS will get things moving first thing the next morning.
