Hi, all

at the beginning of last month i got myself an sgx, and i must admit i almost sent it back, because quite frankly i couldnt understand why anyone would want to put something there, unless they were gay, that is, which im not, however after reading this forum countless times of people both gay and straight, married and single, i badly wanted to know what i was missing out on, so i kept the sgx and over the course of the month tried it in various positions, only to feel nothing and a deep sense of let down, as i am single and wanted to experience what others were, i persisted, and starting using it more frequently and trying different things, like with/without condoms and different lube etc, but none of this helped and in the end i got frustrated and binned the sgx.

after doing this i did a few searches and noticed that, i may be better off with a model for a taller person as i am tall, and didnt really take this into consideration when i just saw the forum in the beginning and went straight onto ordering the beginners model (sgx)

i came to the conclusion that i perhaps shouldnt give up just yet, i just dont really know where to go from here, and i dont want to waste money on another piece of plastic, if i will end up binning it again 🙁

i would greatly appreciate, if users similar to myself can advise on what the best one is "for me"

i am 28yrs old and very thin, well thin in my opinion due to never being the correct weight for my height, due to depression and anxiety problems for most of my life.

so i am barely over 10 stone, and 6ft tall.

i myself seem to be steered towards the helix or the eupho, after alot of reading of this forum, but i have no idea which best fits my build or height.

any suggestions appreciated, thanks.

i still feel abit weird posting this on a forum, lol

I would say helix or MGX.
Your depression and anxiety might keep you from experiencing pleasure with the aneros. Is there anything you can do before a session to relax?

P.S. Be sure to read the WIKI

Several times I've voiced my opinion that there should be a stickied guide that'd cover the most common problems encountered by new users. I might have to try writing such a guide someday myself, I think. 😕

I'm a fairly new user myself, roughly the same height. I think the SGX model was designed for generally shorter people, especially in Asia. If you've felt no discomfort from the SGX during insertion/session, I'd probably go for the Helix as well.

If you do choose to purchase the Helix, please report back if you have any problems. Think of this forum as a community for technical support - there's no reason not to seek advice to get your money's worth out of the Aneros products. 🙂

Rod of Plastic,

May I point out the Aneros WIKI is, in effect, the “Sticky” to which you have alluded. Additionally, within the WIKI there is a FAQ section (see – http://wiki.malegspot.com/index.php?title=Frequently_Asked_Questions_%28FAQ%29 ).

sgxformer,

I sent you an introductory PM with some hints and tips to get you started as well as some links to choosing an Aneros model.

I'm fully aware of that, but I fear most of the new users are not. I'd recommend pointing out the existence and guidance offered by wiki during the forum registration process, or immediately afterwards in the form of a pop-up window, or an automated PM.
