You'd addressed an unvoiced wish of mine, @anerosit.  Thanks!  Qualitatively, yes, it feels faster.  Many wishes for all readers and posters to engage even more because of it.  The forum has contributed very much to my life.  "Godspeed"

You should give up on using this non-mature WordPress plugins. They’re just not good.

Use Discourse - open source, load of features, easy to migrate the existing content over.

It will solve all your speed problems in a blink of an eye. 

@iphone7 thanks for suggestion, we will check it out.  However, we would really like to avoid another migration - it was a major pain last time we did it and has had negative ongoing effects.
