For those that prelube the canal before sessions

I wondered if, for those that do this, doesn't the lube gradually glide down the walls of the cavity anyway? Does this result in a sea of shit residue and lube floating about near your sphincter? That could be potentially a disaster.

No, this does not happen to me. The only time this has happened was when I was purposely pushing the Aneros out with my rectal muscles while removing the Aneros. (This was before I knew how to properly just relax to remove my Aneros's)

I guess it depends on lube amount, right?

I suppose either before or after you insert and remove your Aneros, if you had a really large amount of lube in you, your rectum might feel full enough that you might have the urge to fart which would push out some lube. Then that could be an issue. But generally right after removal, I go right to the toilet to expel any lube in me. So no problems that way.

I notice that sometimes, AFAIK, when I wake up after a session/sleep - all my sessions are just before bed because of my tight schedule - it sometimes feels as if the lube has started to dry up when I take the Aneros out.

If you are using a water based lube, then this could very well be true. Between anything externally exposed to air drying up and what is in your rectum being absorbed. With the unrefined 100% shea butter I use this is not an issue. It is a tree nut oil, so it doesn't dry up or absorb all that much, if at all.

1. Sea of shit? Nope. Generally, if your session starts more than 20 or 30 minutes following defecation, most of the stool will be drawn inward, clearing the anal canal. Perhaps you'll have a couple of chunks way up in your rectum. (rumel mentioned this in a post earlier this year. IIRC, it may eventually be drawn way back into the Sigmoid butt I'm not sure. If you have questions, send him a PM.) After you gain more Aneros experience, you'll begin to sense when your anal canal is cleared. For me it's a nice feeling and I know I'm GTG. I do like a quick douche though just to clear out the small particles and, perhaps an annoying brown film should I have indulged in Chocolate. Hope that wasn't TMI.

2. Disasters ? As the U.S. bumper sticker reads, "shit happens" A combo of bowel looseness excessive water based lube, intestinal gas and a very long session can cause an "incident." That's why having a couple of towels between you and the sheets is a capital idea.

3. Personal experience: I start every session with 8ml of shea+coconut available. For any tool other than Progasm or Maximus 3ml is injected, another 1ml goes on the tool (more than enough) and there's about 3-4ml left over to go on the next tool. For Progasm I'll start with 5ml injected and smear another ml on Progasm leaving lube for another tool, dildoe or vibe if that's where things go. Maximus gets 4ml injected etc etc. On the road I'm using Slippery Stuff gel and the amounts are about the same.

One more time -- pre-douching is the fastidious thing to do, is relaxing, leaves you feeling clean inside and out and takes all the uncertainty out of the game -- big confidence builder. Put another way, if I'm going to invest 2 hours of my time in a session, I want it to be the best going.

Shea butter, as Love_is points out, is a great natural lube; butt, it also lets you feel great the next day with no anal dryness. Your mid-morning tea break will be enhanced by the smoothest Aneroless contractions you can imagne !!! enjoy

If you have a good BM at least a half-hour beforehand, and you wipe thoroughly, you should be good to go. And thick lube like Slippery Stuff Gel won't glide out of your rectum without at least a fart, but using a glycerin-based lube can cause a mess. Also, Slippery Stuff Gel stays slippery in the rectum even after an all-nighter, with plenty left over.

Regarding syringes, the Lube Shooter is the one I use, and it's simple, smooth and easy to clean. The Lube Launcher is very similar, with nearly identical features. They hold roughly 4-6cc of lube, and I usually insert 2 shots inside, with a dollop on the tip of the Aneros. Using a non-water based lube on the opening, and sometimes the Aneros, keeps things good and slippery. I use a smidge of Vaseline at the opening to keep it from drying out and sticking to the Aneros that's outside the body.

All good advice. The thing is, I live at home with no possibility of moving out for at least the next few years. Even a flat-sharing arrangement would bankrupt me, so having towels as protection for if I have an incident is no good, coz I still need to wash the towel. My washing machine is in the kitchen, and mum is nearly always in the kitchen. I can't get nothing in or out of the house that can't fit in a bag. Mum initially caught the Aneros coming in, but she didn't know what it was (it was sealed and packaged).

I think it is highly unlikely that you will end up with feces on the towel. More likely lube may get on there, and that is a lot harder to identify by a nosy person. LOL Besides, how about keeping one towel hidden in your room expressly for the purpose of sex or Aneros sessions in bed. And when you goto to do a regular load of clothes laundry for yourself, mix the towel in with the clothes. Your Ma won't know the difference. I do this in my own place, although I have no one to hide it from. Unless the towel gets really nasty, which is almost never. I can keep reusing it until I'm ready to do a full load of laundry.

By the way... Congratulations on installing a lock on your bedroom door! That's one step of many to creating some boundaries with people who don't know how to stay out of other peoples business. 😉

MyTurn, rook is absolutely correct. An inexpensive Fleet's Enema bottle will allow you to cleanse your rectum prior to an Aneros session. I suggest you try using some nice warm tap water and flush out. If I'm an appropriate amount of time from a bowel movement, I know that two or three small bottles will flush everything yucky out and leave me clean.

After rinsing, there should be absolutely no "ass" odor whatsoever.

Lube. Rook, 8ml is a ton of lube...is that much really necessary? I use a little KY "Gentle Touch", about 1 ml and that lasts a long long time.

So, MyTurn, clean out well, go easy on the lube, lube your Aneros and have at it. I would expect very little chance of "blow-out" but keep the towels handy.

Nah. That what's available for the entire session.

I mix up a quarter cup (2oz) of lube once every few weeks and dole out 7 or 8ml into each of eight whiskey shot glasses. (a weighted shot glass will "park" any Aneros up to Progasm, at the ready on the nightstand.) Each shotglass has a generous amount for pre-lube, sufficient to inject and lube three tools or any other toys. Haven't run out yet! Could probably cut the amount to 6ml and handle anything except for a three tool session including a Progasm and a dildo or massage vibe.

I seldom "double-dip" a 'dirty tool' in the shot glass but figure that sanitation isn't great so the left overs get pitched and every thing gets scrubbed after a session. MyTurn thinks his mum might be tough but, you gotta bed down with a medical professional every night to appreciate the amount of "guidance" I get.
