FFS!!

I'll be brief.
It's been a long time since I've had any progress. About 4 months ago, I had a few invol(untarie)s, but lately, not even those was I having. In fact, I was backtracking. Unrewiring. "What am I doing wrong? Maybe the lubing? Maybe just lubing the Aneros isn't enough? Maybe I need internal lubing?"

I didn't have time to buy an Aneros syringe, so I bought a baby-feeding syringe at a pharmacy. I have OCD, and needed some kind of thin applicator at the squirting end of the syringe. I thought that the applicator would be easier to wipe clean. Since I didn't have it, I thought I would use the syringe once then bin it.

I put 5ml of lube in the syringe and "shot up". That felt kinda good. I wondered if women feel that in their vagina when their partner climaxes.

I then started with the Aneros. A few good sensations, nothing amazing. Later, I was losing arousal. "oh no", I thought. I started with a base contraction, and held it for a long time -- which did nothing. Then some breathing -- again, nothing. "Another wasted session? FFS!"

So I relaxed and felt a few invols. Phew! They were quite strong. I had a few fantasies going on in my head. Then the Aneros began to fuck me!!

The only thought I had was: "This is better than sex". Admittedly, I haven't had sex for a year, but from what I remember, it was better. The Aneros was almost swallowed up at the end of these invols. These invols lasted about 1-2 minutes, but made the whole thing worth it.

The feeling/invols did not return (nowhere near as strong), although the Aneros being sucked in deeply did.

I don't think it was even a P-wave. It was very subtle, but good.

I have learned my lesson. Lube up!

Congratulations MyTurn! I'm so glad to see you progress! 🙂

Just out of curiosity what was your lubing technique before this that you felt this change is what made the difference?

It could just be a coincidence, this change.

My lubing technique before this was just to lube the Aneros (technically, the condom over it). This time I injected lube in, and also put some on the Aneros (on the condom, technically). Insertion and Exiting were easier - not that I have problems with them, but they were unnoticeable yesterday. It's definately the way to go.

Is 5ml enough tho? I get the impression that all the lube just sits above the sphincter and doesn't really "bathe" the whole Aneros, especially the prostate-point or tip of the Aneros. What pivots the Aneros is the cross-section of the "T" part anyway, so how does (or did) more lube help to that extent???

myturn-

if you are using a condom, put the lube inside it. on the outside you just need a little, enough to slide the condom covered aneros inside.

make sure you are using water-based lube for a condom.

have fun! and very glad to hear of your good time!

Thanks Darwin. I underestimated the value of lubrication in this - that is: if it was the internal lubing that helped! Also, I always use a water-based lube.

I'm trying to find one of these local and didn't see them on the shelf. What section would they be in and if I can't find them, what do I tell the pharmacist I'm looking for (I'm not mentioning my intended use!)?

Hello MyTurn, 🙂

I can certainly see why you'd notice such a difference in performance and sensations from the change in your lubing technique. In my own humble opinion, just lubing the Aneros is not sufficient. The rectum will not be slippery enough for it to move around easily. It's my belief that Aneros users should always lean on the side of too much lube rather than too little until they discover what works best for them.

As far as is 5ml enough? That's something you'll have to experiment with. I personally don't think you'd need any more than that. You could try reducing the amount each session until you get to a point where you notice it is not enough. When I do rarely use water based lube, I typically inject 3 to 4 ml. I think it will also depend on what kind of lube you are using.

By the way, you are using a glycerin free water based lube right?

I said "syringe for feeding babies"! I don't know why that occurred to me! I need the thin stem applicator thing tho. It sounds minor and not important, but I don't want to contaminate the syringe. It is far easier to wipe the applicator clean, and not to mention insert!

scarboroughguy,

KY Jelly is a safe personal lubricant, so you need not be too "concerned" about using it. However, just be aware that some individuals are more susceptible to glycerin's laxative effect than others. You may not experience any "urge to purge" effects at all. It just varies from individual to individual how your body personally tolerates glycerin.

Well I just got to try the syringe. Mixed results! There was definitely alot of lube up there, but this must have been the first time enough got up there for the glycerin to bug me. I had the urge to purge creep up really quick, the being said the Helix did move awesomely though but the urge was too distracting. I think if I get a non-glycerin lube things will be great 🙂

Try Slippery Stuff Gel, it's proven anal-safe, and was designed for medical anal use. It lasts for a long, long time.

I can report good results with frozen shea butter. I just cut it out with a knife and insert the nice cold slivers and when I feel really lubed(it starts melting fast), I use some Allation Warming Jelly on the aneros and it glides ride in! Pretty good dry-o's and lots of precum too.

Not sure if the frozen slivers would cause any tearing but for me the shea butter begins to melt in my fingers before I can even get it in there but then again I only put my in the fridge. But by putting it in the fridge It lets me get it into a ball and in quick enough. Would be tough to work with not chilled first.

Holy crap, MyTurn! Thanks to your advice with the syringe technique I've had a new kind of breakthrough with true invols for the first time!

From now on I'll make sure not to be too skimpy with the lube!
