Fit issues?

I'm a relatively new user and, though I've scanned a lot of the forum and other web material since beginning with Aneros, I'm new to the forum. But I think I need some "fitting" advice, or suggestions.

I started very tentatively with a Peridise, and found the smaller one very pleasant and arousing, and an asset in intercourse. But it didn't take me anywhere really new. So I tried a Helix, which I like a lot. It moves well and with it I've had a lot of pleasant sessions and and quite a few what I think are "mini-Os" or "near Os", but nothing big. Using it leaves me incredibly aroused and I usually have to "finish" with masturbation or intercourse. So I went looking for another style. I happened on a Progasm in a sex toys shop and thought, "Well it's BIG, but what the heck." Like the package says, "Have courage!" or something like that.

What I've found with the Progasm is that I can, with a little more patience than my Helix takes, insert it pretty comfortably. And it feels incredible, I must say! Of the 3 Aneros devices I've tried, only the Progasm really gives me a feeling of real pressure and fullness on my prostate. And I get very aroused with it in. But it WON'T STAY IN! It wants to ride a finger thickness or two below my perineum (the ball or tab) initially and, as I work it gently with rhythmic anal contractions, it slowly works out! If I masturbate to orgasm with it in, it pops right out....just like a "butt plug" I tried without satisfaction a long time ago. (Haven't tried intercourse with the Progasm in...I don't feel mobile enough!)

My feeling is that, though I like the large size and so does my prostate (my doc says mine's "on the small side"), something about the shape or fit of the Progasm is not right for my anatomy. In contrast, my Helix just sucks right up there and, in fact, takes a lot more work to get OUT than it does to get in! But the Helix, much as I like the movement, does NOT give me the felling of a prostate massage (like, for instance with a finger) in the way the Progasm does.

Now if I had the money, I'd just fill my quiver with every one of these nice arrrows and see which one shoots the best. But I don't. So I would love any comments or advice on which device MIGHT be the next one to try, based on my observations.

My personal guess is that maybe the Progasm is too long. And I'm looking at the dimensions of the new VICE and thinking maybe that would be better. But generally, I don't like vibrators or that buzzy kind of stimulation (not that you'd have to use it, but it's a lot of $ if you're not going to use the vibrator).

So, what suggestions does anyone have in this case? All ideas receptively considered. I'm going to buy another one, I just haven't decided which one yet. Thanks for any help.

Bob

Hi BobP and welcome to the forum,
My response might be a bit pre-mature as rumel will probably contact you later with some 'standard tips' that are a good baseline and navigation tool for any "newcummer.". Please read over those since they will be directly helpful in your use of the product AND will arm you with a common base of communication. It does sound like you're getting well grounded in the basics.
Your Helix and Progasm experience is close to a carbon copy of what I might have written a year ago. However, the curious thing is that my prostate is, "between 45 and 50 grams." That's probably over twice the volume of yours, assuming our Uros have about the same calibration. ( I'd never considered Uros as being calibrated ...)

Progasm: My guess is that your ejection and 'fit' issues with Progasm are a matter of relaxation and that you'll move smoothly into Progasm as you gain musculature, elasticity and improve your relaxation. Remember too that Progasm is more critical of lube and prep than the other tools. And, insertion is not the one-step procedure that works for Helix. Instead, it's a deliberate two-step scooping maneuver. Post some particulars on just Progasm here for help and I'd guess you'll be beseiged with comment. Consider also joining the Program user's group (find it via the "community tab" at the top of this page. You'll find specialized help there.

Next Helix: This tool is one of the newer designs and features a lot more agility than MGX, SGX or Progasm. The downside is that it's more sensitive to body position and posture granting it erratic contact when you maneuver your bod. Everyone is different. Generally I find Helix offers the most contact when I'm on my stomach and very little when I'm on my back. Best bet is to get on your favorite side, and maneuver your legs and knees to find a degree of spine curvature and pelvis tilt that lights your fire. With this tool, the gravity factor comes iinto play. Eupho is similar and more extreme however the balance is different and the gravity influence is occasionally the reverse of what I get with Helix. Above all, don't run right out and buy one.

Peridise: This tool isn't intended to do anything for your Prostate. It's a grand anal tool and plays with an exquisite batch of nerve endings. It's quite normal for your prostate to have a very "vacant" or "hollow" feeling when Peridise is inserted. I like the largest of these for foreplay.
Hope this wasn't too much of a data dump.
Small note -- very quickly we are going to grab you by the horns and persuade you to ease off the masturbation and attention to Penis until you get further along in this journey. Meanwhile, enjoy your sessions and have fun.
Oh yeah, I slide onto a Maximus like a finely tailored Italian glove and it 'bloops' into place just like the Helix. However, filling your toolbox right now is something that we'd caution against.
Regards and all the best to you and your wife ..... rook

Hello BobP,

And welcome to the Aneros forums. 🙂
One possibility is that your Progasm is not inserted completely. See the last post in the following thread link for insertion instructions.

Otherwise it's also possible that the contractions you are doing are actually rectal (bearing down) contractions that would definitely push it out. Where as anal contractions would pull it into you. Let us know what you discover about this.

I agree that relaxation, time and acclimation may solve this problem. i would make that assumption rather then assume its anatomical, until given more of a chance to work.

also explore more positions.

Give the Eupho a go. I find it exceptionally fine, highly mobile, exquisite feeling.

Good luck.
