Hi,
I am trying to decide between the Eupho Trident and the Helix Trident.
I am pretty new to this (though I am completely comfortable with my body). I plan on using this both with my wife (during sex and other sexual play) and by myself. The Aneros website suggests the Eupho for couples, but the Helix for beginners. I fall into both categories. Any advice would be very helpful! Is the Helix Trident good for couple play? Is the Eupho Trident that much more difficult for beginners? How much harder is it for someone to get the Helix in, this would be my first toy that I will be inserting (though fingers have done a fair amount of exploration).
thanks!
OdinSon
Get both!!
@Tommygunn Thanks for offering to buy them both for me?;)

Any of the Aneros' models may be used for couple play, it is pretty much an individual subjective choice. IMHO, no particular model is better for couple play than another. That being said, the Helix line of models are all good introductory models, providing good balance between assertive stimulation and mobility.
Is the Eupho Trident that much more difficult for beginners?
NO!, the Eupho models are arguably the easiest models to insert and the most agile/mobile. They are also the slimmest and provide a more subtle stimulation to your prostate.

If you can get two fingers easily in your anus then you will have no difficulty whatsoever inserting any of the Helix models provided you have adequately lubricated both your anus & Helix. Relax while slowly inserting being sure to allow your inner sphincter muscle to relax as well during insertion. Be sure to read the Getting Started page of the Aneros WIKI.

@rumel,
Thank you so much for your response and your PM, I look forward to reading it. One follow up question. You said:

I understand that the Eupho is easiest to insert, but given the more subtle stimulation, is it much harder for a novice to achieve a Super-o, ornis that very subjective?
Thanks!

... given the more subtle stimulation, is it much harder for a novice to achieve a Super-o, or is that very subjective?
This is a bit awkward to answer because "...much harder..." could be implying physical difficulty which is not the case here. The Eupho is highly agile/mobile and requires some good pelvic muscle control to guide and maneuver it effectively against your prostate and it does not exert much pressure in the process so you need to be really attuned to your own body to focus in on the many subtle nuanced sensations it generates. This is why it is considered better for advanced users who have developed/refined their pelvic floor musculature. While it is possible for a novice to generate a Super-O with any Aneros model (they all have unique performance characteristics), the differences between any of the models is NOT an order of magnitude different. The path to a Super-O is more dependent on one's mindset than on the particular model used. Please see @rook 's thread Whole Body/Whole Mind - the mental side & @SteelColdiron 's thread Aneros: The Essential Mind State for a little insight. It might also help you to read @neros 's post The truth behind how to "rewire".

@rumel thanks for all your help. I decided to go for the Helix Trident. Looking forward to a new experience!
