Hi everyone

So my firstborn Aneros arrived today, a Helix Syn. I’m not new to anal play, I have a dildo and a couple of Nexus toys (a Glide and a Vibro) but in terms of actually reaching orgasm with any of them, while they make masturbating to a regular orgasm that little more intense, I’m yet to actually experience anything like what’s been described here and in a book I read last week, following a recommendation here..

I have to say, I was underwhelmed by the size of the Helix - it looks bigger in the pictures I’ve seen! However, I’ve heard people raving about it here, plus in a great blog I found a while back (Mr Racy, he has a great guide on how to reach a prostate orgasm for the other newbies here) and i’m really looking forward to slipping it in later and giving it a good go.

Wish me luck, I look forward to sharing my journey here with you all.

Just don’t expect wild cymbals, gongs, fireworks, and cannon blasts to go off as soon as you stick it in. That only leads to disappointment and frustration. It takes time, often a good deal of it, to reach the potential that you seek. So be patience, relax, enjoy the sensations that you do experience, and be patient. Did I say be patient? The journey is well worth it.

Hello @Lth0ms0n, I wish you all the luck for your journey and welcome to the forum. Don't miss the blog section. With your experience the journey might accelerate to an undreamed-of pace and you might want to hold for a moment and look back at already overwritten experiences. My blog was extremely helpful from time to time. Perhaps you like to read these recommendations concerning the use of the blog section I made some minutes ago. Have fun! Mart

On the top of the page you see "Learn" (on tablets or too tiny screens you first might have to click on a "Hamburger menue" (an icon of three lines), clicking on it you find links to the blogs and to the forum.

In the blog section you may have to log-on separately.

There is one mean issue concerning the blogs' section you should be aware of, that is the silent log-off after an unknown time of passivity. Typing your text sadly is not noticed as activity and there is no autosave like in the forum, why you will lose all your work when clicking on submit while already logged off in the background.

Therefore take care and write your post in an external editor, then copy and paste your text to your blog. Otherwise you may want to kill somebody. 😡 Last chance is to copy and paste your text to the clipboard before you click on that mean little submit button.

You're always welcome with further questions, for example how to edit your text later, how to insert links or change text type to bold and so on.

Have fun with your blog and with reading the other blogs, there's a lot of experience shared to learn from. Cheers! Mart

@simeonh I wasThanks all! I did have a nice j/o with it earlier, I think fuelled by the excitement of a new toy more than anything, but I’m ready for bed now and am going to slip it in again and read some blogs to get my going again.. I’m super excited about this but yeah, Simeon, i was definitely expecting more intense pressure on my prostate when I first slipped it in there and as yet, I’m not aware of the sensation yet...

i guess i just just need to get with it as many times as I can!

@Lth0ms0n, first and foremost try to sense for much more subtle feelings and welcome and enjoy them. Where your dildo and Nexus toys have played rough you now are dealing with a featherweight. Only let your prostate find it and use it and you will see, the impact will be more powerful than from any heavyweight before. Good vibes, Mart

@SOwithoutAneros thanks! I’m off to try it now, I had some wine earlier which I’m hoping won’t dampen it but every attempt is progress, right!

@Lth0ms0n - welcome to the world of pleasure of Aneros! As mentioned above by several with experience, relax and enjoy each twinge of pleasure! Make sure you and your sphincter are pulling HelixSyn in all the way to get good waves moving! Relax and wait while doing breathing and Kegels! Keep us posted on your progress!
