I’d like to order my first prostate massager product. I was wondering if you could suggest one or even 2 for me. I was thinking about a manual one and a hands free one.
I also suffer from premature ejaculation and was going to try prostate massage as a way to help with this.
Thanks

First, Welcome to the Aneros Forums! All the Aneros models are intended to be used hands free, so in regards to choosing a first Aneros model, I recommend that you read the following : The Best Aneros model is... but after reading that you might want to take a look at my review of the Helix SYN Trident, I really think it is one of the best models you could purchase and it will work for newbies and veterans alike. As regards a manual device, I think the best device for prostate stimulation/milking is the njoy Pure Wand. Those two devices will no doubt serve you well for many years to come.

I also suffer from premature ejaculation and was going to try prostate massage as a way to help with this.

The issue of premature ejaculation is a complex one probably having more to do with psychological issues rather than physical issues. That is not to say that learning about your body and prostate play won't help (it will help) but an Aneros is not a cure for the issue. In fact, because prostate stimulation can be so intense, your initial sessions with an Aneros can exacerbate the problem until you learn some control. There are numerous threads on the forum which discuss this issue and I encourage you to read though some of them, you can use the search function to find some of those threads, just use 'premature ejaculation' as a key word. Here are a couple to get you started -> Newbie - could regular use of Aneros help me in life long Premature Ejaculation], Progasm, and use to cure PE & Premature ejaculation worries.
Good Vibes to You !

P.S. I sent you an introductory Private Message (Newbie's Notebook) with some additional hints and tips to get you started here. Click on your 'Messages' button in the Forums to retrieve it.

Burtonboy 182.............Here is what I have started doing recently to combat premature ejaculation........like they say........its all in your head.........so I have decided to try the subliminal route, and hence I spend a fair amount of time on YouTube..........about two weeks ago, I had NILAM SUBLIMINALS make a last longer in bed subliminal for me......with enough listening's this should allow you to last upwards of three hours.......but this is only about ten days old, as of this writing............I am listening to this for three hours every morning.........as I get up very early..........and I am listening to this now, as I compose this to you.........I love the windstorm in the background by the way.........it helps me to relax and think.........and you can do other things like well write e-mails, or read while you're listening..........

Seriously give this a try..........try it for at least 3 weeks minimum..........don't look at porn.........and of course, semen retention is a must, for this to work.........well I think so anyway............NILAM SUBLIMINALS is a first rate subliminal provider.......and I think he is one of the most polished, and intelligent subliminal makers on YouTube......

So like I said............go to YouTube.........type in NILAM SUBLIMINALS.........find his "last longer in bed subliminal, last three hours sub".in the video section...........and just start listening to this...this has only been out a smidge over a week now...........anyway set up a playlist, and make it a point to listen to this daily.........and thank me later..........good luck on your journey by the way !!!!

For beginners both the MGX as well as the Helix (and its different versions) are commonly recommended. I own these two in their trident version, as well as the Progasm Jr.

Do you have any experience with prostate or anal play?

I wouldn't recommend the Progasm Jr to a beginner, both the MGX and the Helix would be fine though.

I find the MGX is much, much easier to insert. It has a very gradual increase in diameter and is one of the easiest to insert things I've ever had in my butt, besides maybe my wifes finger. The Helix isn't exactly hard to insert, but because the thickest part comes right at the beginning it just doesn't go in as easily.

Now, for prostate stimulation itself the Helix makes things very easy. Even in a relaxed state it already puts noticable pressure on my prostate, making it very easy to feel the right spot and what muscles have to twitch to increase the sensation. For the MGX, prostate stimulation is more dependent on its movement, it creates very little just sitting there. If you know what prostate stimulation feels like you'll quickly notice when its doing the right thing though, and at least for me, peak prostate stimulation is much higher with the MGX. But both feel great, just different.

I feel like if you've had a finger up there and know what prostate stimulation feels like, but haven't had more than a finger in there, the MGX might lead to stronger results quicker with super easy insertion.

On the other hand if you haven't ever felt prostate stimulation, the Helix might make it easier to get to know the right sensations, but might require just a touch more relaxation to get it in. Its pretty comfortable once its in there.

Now when it comes to the 'syn' models, I don't own one and never saw the need. I'll probably try one one day, but the plastic works perfectly fine. Its very easy to clean, works with any lube, is still very comfortable and gives nice and direct prostate contact. I don't see a need to soften things up, especially since its not uncomfortable (and thats even though I'm not comfortable with a lot of size). Also, it would make things like cleaning and lube compliance a touch harder, while the plastic allows you to try any lube and find your favorite.

Last but not least, starting to use a lube shooter or oral syringe really increased movement and sensations! About 4-5cc work best for me when using water-based lube, and it makes it much, much more comfortable to keep the Aneros in for a longer session. Just putting it on the toy strips a lot off during insertion, and it comes out relatively dry. During relatively short sessions that works okay (like quickly inserting it during sex to boost sensations and orgasm), but for any kind of longer Aneros action, inserting some lube really helps.

I can't offer much advice on premature ejaculation though. The few times of my life I had that problem, I had to mainly increase orgasm frequency. Also, long edging sessions really helped me gain control over it. Whenever I was single, I'd often have 1-2h sessions masturbating, only having a single orgasm at the end of it. It made me very aware of how far I can go before I cum, how to delay it while keeping it pleasurable and things like that. I did that for years, and most of what I learned there can be applied during sex for example. And it should pair up well with an Aneros.
