Hi, I'm brand new here. It's 2:00 AM. I'll post an intro another time. I ordered a Helix and some lube and will share my experience as I go on my journey.

One question for now. I see lots and lots of posts about the wonderful pleasure men have with their Aneros massagers. Are men also experiencing other deep feelings? I ask because I'm working with a therapist to access some very old, and probably very scary, feelings. I'm drawn to Aneros hoping that it can help me to feel deeply in general, not just pleasure.

Gentlemen - your thoughts, please.

Thanks.

That sounds wonderful! And, I'm wondering if the Aneros has helped you or others to touch deeply into grief, sadness, pain, and other deep emotional places. I get that in your situation the safety and calmness are very important.

Are men also experiencing other deep feelings?

In a word YES but not every man will expand his thinking beyond the realms of pure pleasure. From White Lotus East

The G-Spot or Sacred Spot of a man is his prostate gland. Tantric philosophy considers the G-Spot a man's emotional sex center. Massaging the man's prostate releases tremendous amounts of emotional and physical stress.

The degree to which each man is able to release repressed emotions and access his higher emotional states is dependent on his willingness and ability to suspend egotistical control and judegment about his own actions.
I think you might be interested in @esfenoides threads Aneros yoga, The Tao of O , Non-erotic orgasms, aneros can be non sexual & @zaneblue 's thread Automatic Tantra?. for some other members thoughts on this subject.

Thanks for the engagement and for the links to check out! I really appreciate it.

My story is that like so many men I learned early to stuff my feelings. I'm slowly getting in touch with them again. Many years ago I was in a tantra community but I wasn't emotionally mature enough to really swim in those sweet waters. My sincere heart's desire is to be deeply in touch with all of my feelings -- the pretty and the not so pretty ones. My intention is to be so connected to my feelings that I attract the perfect partner for me who is connected deeply to her feelings and wants to journey with me. So, my journey is WAY bigger than great sensations, and WAY bigger than good sex!

A lot of what I feel during and after using my Aneros is peace. It is very relaxing, and it seems like I carry some residual satisfaction or contentment throughout the day.

I can’t say it has helped me get in touch with deep feelings, but I also like to think I’m pretty self-aware already. But I think it may make me a little more resilient to the common stressors in my life. If you experience the same, it would at least help you deal with anything you have had buried and are finally unearthing.
