Farewell and Warning

I've been at this for ten years and have had a huge amount of pleasure. The experience has made me open to more enjoyable sex with my wife.

But it's over.

Today, in the midst of a long intense Helix session, I felt the typical urge to pee and produced a large amount of blood. I seriously considered going to the ER, but remembered when I had a benign BPH TURP years ago, just had to be patient. Sure enough, by drinking a lot of water, the amount of blood dropped, a couple of hours some big clots came out, later a small one, and now it is running clear.

But this is a scare too much.

My Aneros friends are in the trash and the pleasure will need to live in memory.

Here is wishing all the best. But beware.

Over and out.

I am very sorry to hear this.  Sounds like a visit to the urologist will take place quickly for a total exam / cystoscopy to see what is going on.  Having had prostate surgery in May of 2022, I can relate.  Hope to see you again!  Prayers!

Definitely a visit to the urologist is in order to determine the cause of the bleeding. Personally do not see how using Aneros would cause anything like what you have experienced! Suspect something else is causing it and requires immediate attention! I wish you well - please keep us posted on what you learn!

Sorry to hear about your condition!  I sincerely hope everything will settle down and be normal again.  The suggestions to visit your eorologist is a wise one.

Don't take the garbage to the curb yet; put it somewhere out of sight and reach for now  and until you've been diagnosed properly.   Too many members have regretted making harsh decisions prematurely.

I agree with those suggesting a Dr. visit.

I agree with Ggringo, hold on to your devices.

I have UC (Ulceritive Colitis), bleeding ulcers in my large intestines.  Following Dr's orders and meds have kept my symptoms in remission for many years now.

I would hate to have to give up my Aneros sessions and the pleasures they give me.

Hang in there and share your prognosis and progress.  Others may benefit from your experience.

Cheers

Sorry to hear that. Wish you good luck! I agree with others that no need to trash the toys yet. Just wait till Doctor gives recommendations. Aneros products are considered sexual health and wellness products. Keep us posted please. Take care of your health first.

Sporadic bleeding after a TURP is common. It often looks worse than it is. A small drop of blood can add a lot of color to your urine and cause a great deal of concern.

It is best to let your doctor know for sure. He may want to look around. He’ll be interested in how often it happens. The prostate does not heal like you may expect and could require some further attention. It yours is really large, the bleeding can be worse.

I went through three Turps. Never could get the bleeding to stop. Damned awful experience. Other than prolonged sitting like a long airline flight, or bicycle riding, I never could figure out what would cause it to start.

Good luck.

@xileh I’m just curious…are you still able to enjoy Aneros and have prostate orgasms after TURPs?

@crushind Yes. TURPs do not involve the nerves. In fact, later I ended up having a simple prosectomy due to a greatly enlarged prostate. Since the operation preserved the nerves, orgasms are still possible.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience and the scare you went through. It's important to prioritize your health and safety above any pleasure or hobby. If you haven't already, I strongly recommend seeking medical attention and discussing your experience with a healthcare professional. It's also important to listen to your body and take breaks or adjust your activities as needed. Thank you for sharing your experience as a reminder for others to prioritize their health and safety.
