Any opinions on whether plastic or silicone is easier to insert? Assuming every other parameter is the same or not taken into consideration. I am talking about aneros tools of course not other stuff on the market.

IMHO, ease of insertion depends more on the chosen lubrication, rectal/anal preparation and relaxation of the anal sphincter muscles than the Aneros model itself. Since the SYN models are virtually identical to the plastic models in size, It is more a matter of personal choice, what works best for you.

Good Vibes to You!

Thanks for your answer. Although technically different materials have different friction and respond differently even to the same lubricant. But I trust your opinion and actually the materials may be too similar to sense a difference.

Just a good lube is required. Aneros toys,plastic or syn, should go in pretty easily as they are more like fingers than anything else. I never had issue with syn models. More comfortable,but dry out quicker.

Try a 6 inch girth dildo,that’ll put hairs on your chest hahahahha 😉

@helghast yeah I've seen people do that quite easily and I still don't get why its such a problem for me. I got the white eupho trident  which is the smallest excluding the peridise bunch. It still aint happening. I dont get any tearing pain or blood but its nothing like being sucked like many describe. It takes a lot of pushing and seems stuck. I have hemorhoids and bph but it seems to stick in the inner sphincter. it is still oily even after 2 hours so it cant be  the lube. cold could be making it worse. when you suggest going slow doesnt the lube drop off while waiting? it could be that im going too fast.

Yea sometimes when you lube your aneros,you have to twirl it and hold it upside down so the lube stays put. Now,when you insert,relax your ass,even push it a little,there should be resistance for a while and then it should suck in,wiggle slightly if your not sure of the direction.

@rumel,

You nailed it with this method for me (still a newbie). Additionally & initially in my journey, I sensed a "brick wall", so to speak, at the anus.  So, I lubed it first with my finger going round-and-round then in a little.  Then throughtly lube the device, and do the same round-and-round then in a little with it, and a gentle and slow start to push - voila'!  It drops in, and then you can start breathing and contraction to settle from there.  The type of lube used (water base vs. coconut oil/CBD) operates the same way for insertion.
