Hi everyone this is my first post here so go easy on me 🙂 This is a little embarrassing talking about it but I've been into anal masturbation since my mid-teens and this has mostly been pretty aggressive so I can use some pretty large toys like an 8" round plug I have.

Like I said it's all been pretty penetrative and aggressive so I decided to make things more relaxing and try an Aneros. I ordered the helix and have given it a try. It's extremely comfortable to relax with and use to get me ready for a much larger toy but it doesn't do anything on it's own. I think from using such larger objects the muscles down there have stretched much larger and it seems the Aneros just doesn't touch anything.

I put it in and relax for an hour contracting and tightening muscles until it's in securely but the "handle" at the back barely makes any contact with my skin and it's the same for the perineum tab there's just no pressure or anything. The toy rests nowhere near my prostate, if anything it seems to guide towards my spine rather than to the front.

Like I said I'm into some aggressive playing down there and I've stretched a lot. Is it possible I've just stretched and slightly reshaped things down there with my large toys that the Aneros just doesn't work?

Well Wazz!

It probably depends on how elastic your rectal muscle wall is and what diameter your contracted "default" shape and size is. What is the usual diameter of your stools (feces)?

With all this anal play, have you massaged you prostate with any regularity?
Any rewiring you have done in your anal/rectal/prostate nervous system with the big toys may well not be the best for the the Aneros to function. It may take some time for your system to adjust.

I have been a lifelong massager of my prostate with my fingers and smaller dildo objects. I did not find the Aneros MGX I began with "worked instantly" by any means; it takes time and patience through many sessions.

Many guys find it takes several sessions for their bodies to get oriented to the feel and mobility potential of any Aneros model. If you are patient with it through a number of sessions, your muscles will probably learn the positioning and the nerves develop the sensitivities to enable your Helix to work with you.

Given your attraction to size, I wonder that you didn't choose a Progasm first. You might want to try a Progasm, particularly given it has both the P-tab and the K-tab which is intended to contact your body as well as the P-tab as on your Helix. The handle is not a positioning/stimulation device and lack of handle contact is not important.

Have you experienced dry/prostate orgasms from your experiences to date?

All the best with your Aneros journey! Patience will very likely be very rewarding! It has been for me and many others...
