For those of you using aneros, if you have told your doctors about u riding, or if they told you about this object/toy, how did they react if you told them, and how did you react if they told you? Male or female doc?

Also your age?

How long you have been riding since being told or telling your doc about using the aneros?

So today I had a physical with my doc, male one. After everything, I brought up the subject of erections, normal #, and also prostate massage. Told him about the aneros. He said that there's no medical literature that he's read that says prostate massage or anal toy use is bad. Just to be careful. He asked if the aneros went into the rectum, I said yeah, no real great shock. It's a personal choice whether to use or not use. Felt good to get it out. Wonder if he'll check this site out...

@newguy8, good of you to bring it up with your Doc. If people do not find the Aneros on their own, hopefully doctors can recommend them to patients as alternatives to BPH problems and they will discover the wonderful world of prostate massage. The more who know about these awesome devices the better!

During the annual checkup three years ago I mentioned using the Helix for both therapy and pleasure.

Male doc (a board Urologist) made a note in my office chart. After he wrote out the 'scrips' for my BPH and E.D. meds he said, "continue what you are doing and I'll see you next year."

my doc knows I have an aneros, he doesn't know what model or much about it just that it must help. My prostate is very healthy, the size of a 40yo. He's very thorough in his exam, no rush. Hands me kleenex to wipe up the lubrication from my erect cock

I've told my urologist, psychologist and psychiatric nurse practitioner what I'm doing with prostate massage. the urologist was funny, said it would put him out of business. the nurse practitioner just nodded. I told the psychologist the most, what I get out of it, my chatting, blogging. she's sympathetic but doesn't understand what it's doing for me. I have no reason to tell my primary care doctor but I wish she would milk me when she does the DRE. it's just uncomfortable and awkward.
