I recently purchased an Aneros MGX, but when it arrived it came in just a red flip case but was not shrink wrapped or sealed, and the card inside was bent down the middle. I ordered it from LH and they say not all of their products come shrink wrapped, however this has clearly been opened a few times as there are scruff marks on the outer case (which are left each time the case is opened) and of course the card being bent.
Can someone confirm whether Aneros products come shrink wrapped or not please?
Those of you in the UK, where did you orders yours from (and did they come shrink wrapped/sealed)?
TIA.
Hello UKDude, 🙂
I'm from the USA, so I can't advise you on what the good places are to order Aneros products in the UK.
None of my Aneros prostate massagers have been shrink wrapped. And all but my black Progasm were ordered directly from the Aneros web site. They all had a similar clamshell style case with a red card stock insert. When you order from a retail shop, I suppose there is always a risk that the packaging has been opened to examine the device. Hard to know for sure. I'd suggest contacting Aneros support and discussing it with them if you are really concerned.

I have bought all mine (mgx, progasm, peridise) from Lovehoney none were shrink wrapped, they came in plastic clip closed package. I know this question has been asked here before and I don't think there is anything to worry about. Just make sure you wash it well in hot water and all will be fine.
Thanks both.
I sent the MGX back, and ordered a Helix instead.
The Helix came in an Aneros box with a cardboard sleeve -and- the red flip case. Although it wasn't shrink wrapped I feel much better about it as there are much fewer scruff marks on the flip case.
I think Aneros should be selling these sealed - it is too easy for retailers to resell otherwise and when it comes to health/infection I think we should not take any risks.
One thing I noticed is they smell different - the MGX had a stronger smell, the Helix doesn't really smell at all, anyone else notice this? (Should I post in a new thread?)
