Different contractions?

Hello everyone. I have had my helix for about three months now and have used it a few dozen times. I'm not sure that I'm really making much progress, but that's not my main question. I see people talking about anal contractions and rectal contractions, but I can't find anywhere what the difference is or how I would know which is which. Any thoughts?

What's worked best for me is after about 10 minutes of relaxing to do gentle PC contractions, that is the contraction you would use to cut off your urine flow midstream (which you can actually practice doing on the toilet with a full bladder to familiarize yourself with what that contraction is). While doing this, lightly tickle your nipples and see if you can identify some quivering feelings in your anus that lead to the massager feeling like it wants to pull inward involuntarily. This should happen without any intentional contractions of your rectum and anus on your part and can take some practice and time over a number of sessions to accomplish. This is what eventually bring about the prostate orgasms.

You may wish to read the Pelvic Floor muscles section of the Aneros WIKI Understanding Your Body chapter.

I don’t know if you have any experience of sexual intercourse but I find that when I am having sex with my wife, there is a group of muscles that comes into play in my pelvic region that seems to have just the one function. When thrusting inwards, your pelvis moves forwards in order to move your penis deeper into your partner’s vagina. I find that the best sensations are achieved from using a quite slow thrusting motion, moving in over about three or four seconds while withdrawing over about one second.

During that inward motion you will notice that a particular group of muscles is involved. If I imagine I am making the same motions while using an Aneros, this causes contractions on the Aneros device that moves it in just the right way to bring pressure onto the prostate.

Once you have identified the group of muscles involved, there is no need to actually move your pelvis, you can simply contract the muscles as if that was your intention and the resultant motion is kept entirely within the pelvis.

I now find that upon waking in the morning following an Anerosession, this muscle group contracts rhythmically and involuntarily, giving rise to some very nice echo effects which, given time, could well lead to anal orgasms without the Aneros device being in place. However, that link has yet to be accomplished.

BTW, I have also found that moving the muscles that are normally involved in making the Key Sound in KSMO practice has the effect of amplifying the sensations produced by an Aneros device, although I must add that I have yet to achieve an orgasm by the use of the KSMO technique on its own.
