Dick tingles in Sex! Is this part of the rewiring?

This morning after a so so session trying to get my body to rewire, my sweetie and I went at it in intercouse.
I was in a chair with her straddling me, deep inside her, when she began to tweak and fondle my nipples. What happened next has me pleasantly encouraged in this super O business. I am nowhere near a dry O. I have had some subtle feelings in my prostate. Yesterday, it seemed the helix syn was moving very slightly on its own as my prostate experienced a very mild pulsing. That didnt last long however in my yesterday session.
So today when my sweetie did my nipples, my shaft and cockhead started to tingle just like my prostate tingles. I ws elated and told her what her what was happening. She was happy for me.
If this is part of the rewiring, I want more of this. I cant wait to get to where you guys are to have waves of pleasure that rock my body which in my mid sixties drastically need a recharging.
So what say you, electrified rewired afficionados? Did this happen to you in sex in the rewiring process. What can you tell me. This has been a very successful week of aneros work.
Thanks guys.

Hate to break the bad news to you, the tingling may not be due to the great sex. It's what the Aneros does! That and the movement of the Syn are really good signs of progress. Getting a super-charge from nipple play is also a sIgn that they are developing and contributing to your pleasure. Now that you are making progress, resist the temptation to push it, just let it come to you. It may take more time.

Mid sixties is nothing. You are in the process of having more fun than a teenager because you treasure it! Being able to experience this with your partner is a gift. So, good for you to share and for her to support you.

You are on your way, in many ways!

Thanks Xileh:
No, this is not bad news for me and after it happened, I was elated with what I felt in my dick. I remember my dick being on fire as an early teen when I stroked it. But this today was more than just a good feeling in my dick like the ones I had as a teen. The tingling surprised me and let me know that even at my age, an older dog can learn new tricks.
Yes, you are correct. My wife is a sweetie and truly is concerned about my sexual happiness. I have kept her up to date on my aneros progress and will continue to do so.
Thanks again Xileh and to all you guys in chat and on these forum. Your guidance is key to getting this.

@turnrow the tingling may also be because of the nipple stimulation. Th rewiring of your nipples to your penis can feel like tingling to begin with. It really is a great feeling when you can feel the conection from nipples to penis. As I learnt this new practice I found that my penis was so connected to my nipples that when played with it actually felt like my fingers were circling my penis head.
Enjoy it while it happens as it may disappear in time. Its a ever changing journey.

Indeed, at a certain point the nipples can feel like little penises.

Thanks Brave and Twltin.

Wow, nipples becoming penises and circling them feeling like they are dickheads..........What beautiful stuff.

Hope that happens to me. We men have a fascination with our penises going back to our first discovery of the pleasure they gave us as a child or boy. This sounds like starting that discovery process all over again with even more dynamic orgasmic delight. I am ready.

Thanks for replying. I have tried to get the feelings you describe going. Tell me, was this feeling of fingers circling penis while circling your nipples something that you were able to do AFTER THE SUPER O or BEFORE YOU HAD THE SUPER O???????
I would like for your experience to become my experience. Your answer will help me put this in a time frame of when to expect this. Right now, I am not able to get those feeling going. I have a rewired aneros freind on this website who in uncircumcised and he says that he can feel pleasure in his foreskin. I want that too as I am not cut.

Since each man's journey is unique, the sensations one feels may or may not be common with others. Some of these sensations may only occur a few times before they morph into something different.

In a sense, you are relearning about your sexuality from a new perspective but it is tempered by all your previous life experiences. While you may desire to replicate the described experiences of others, I would caution you to NOT EXPECT those events to occur. You are unique just as your friend is unique, doesn't it make sense then that your Aneros experience will be unique too? If you can forget about trying to follow in the footrsteps of others you will find your mind free to fully enjoy the path of your own experience, that is where your true joy will manifest.

Rumel, you said the above. Can you elaborate a little more on the contours of what this means?

I think you gave me some good advice to write my own book on the aneros rewirinig.

Thanks man.

Turnrow,

As requested here's an elaboration on my statement "In a sense, you are relearning about your sexuality from a new perspective but it is tempered by all your previous life experiences."

IMHO, generally speaking, men in the western world learn about their sexuality through external stimulation of their penis. One's first orgasm may actually go unperceived as such until a bit later when we learn to associate ejaculations with orgasms. From then forward we practice penile masturbation reinforcing the orgasm-ejaculation conditioning to the point this becomes the focus of our sexuality. I think this is pretty commom whether one is gay, bi, or straight. Sexual desire is sated via frequent intercourse, oral sex and self masturbation. For most men this becomes the pattern of sexuality for their entire lives and for many men this pattern is entirely satisfying and fulfilling. This is probably what would be considered a "normal' male sexual orientation.

Of course there is a great variation in the specifics of how men stimulate their penis's, just as we frequently say here that each man is unique, so too are individual penile simulation styles. The point I'm making here is men mostly identify their sexuality through their penis.

Aneros use for some men is merely an enhancement to their existing traditional masturbation practice yielding stronger and more intense ejaculatory orgasms, these are the Super-T's. Men who use the Aneros in this manner can get all the same health benefits as those who are pursuing the more elusive Super-O and they won't need to relearn anything, no "rewiring" required.

Now we get to that group of men who want to expand their sexuality into something more than they presently experience, they are curious about pushing the boundaries of their sexuality, they have heard about this technique called prostate massage and the possibility of something called the Super-O, but how does one obtain this mysterious Super-O?

The Super-O is not really a new phenomenon, practitioners of Tantra and followers of Taoist philosophy are well aware of these highly energized, elevated spiritual states.Tantric teaching has a much broader understanding of male sexuality than common western teachings. Tantric practices have long recognized the importance of the prostate (Sacred Spot) in male sexuality but for most men in the western world the techniques involved for stimulating this internal organ have been mostly considered taboo.

'BF Mayfield' called the Aneros lineup of prostate massagers "Tantric Training Wheels" because they have led many men to awaken their inner Sacred Spot and experience the joys of the Super-O. The Prostate Awakening process is an indefinite time period, it is during this time a man learns new things about his body and himself. This new learning is the basis of the term "rewiring". Part of that rewiring also involves setting aside some traditional notions of methods for achieving orgasms and, fortunately for us, the neuroplasticity of the brain can accommodate these differing notions.

One of the first notions (probably the most important as well) to be set aside is the reliance/focus on your penis as the source of pleasure, "Cockadoodle's thread Penis, NOT explains this quite well. Another notion to be set aside is the traditional male assertive/penetrative/active mindset in favor of adopting a more accepting/receiving/passive mindset. When these concepts have been adopted by your mind, your notion of what constitutes male sexuality will have also been altered forever.

I hope that adequately elaborates the basis of my previous statement.

As usual, your wisdom and thoroughness has totally answered my question.

Yes, I am trying to push the boundaries of a mindset that is now in the midst of over six decades. Interesting question to you guys who are up on Old Testament history. I thought of this this morning in my session. Abraham had no children and was almost a century old. His wife laughed when the promise came from God that she would have a child. She questioned whether she would find pleasure in Abraham. Abraham probably had E D and/or impotence.
But Isaac came along and after Sarahs death, Abraham fathered many more children by a successive wife. Question????? What happened to Abraham. Yes, God touched him. But is it possible God touched him with the rewiring???

Thanks Rumel. I am trying to rewire to that accepting, receiving, passive mindset of prostate rewiring.

@rumel, I wanted to get your take on this since we are discussing rewiring. How do you feel about ending sessions with a traditional orgasm? Is it good/bad for rewiring? Someone had posted in another thread his feelings about this, his line of thinking was if you end traditionally then its harder for your brain to rewire so to say. By not finishing, the brain would rewire or create a new path from the build up of sexual tension and nowhere for it to go.

How do you feel about ending sessions with a traditional orgasm? Is it good/bad for rewiring? The short answer to your question - I feel ending an Anerosession with a traditional ejaculatory orgasm may pose a hindrance to the rewiring process for newbies who have not yet been "rewired" (see the term 'rewired' in the WIKI - Glossary) and here's why.

First off, before I start spouting off my opinions about these subjects, everyone needs to understand the rewiring we so frequently refer to in this Forum is not a scientifically/clinically tested process or hypothesis. It is a term we use to describe the resultant behavioral changes/responses from practicing certain learned techniques as put forth by the members of this Forum in their anecdotal postings. Once one has reached a consistent ability to experience Super-O's they are said to have been "rewired" , though this process is actually continuously evolving and refining what you learn on both the conscious and sub-conscious levels.

IMHO, the primary goal of rewiring is to firmly establish neural connections and psychological associations between Aneros use and non-ejaculatory orgasms thus facilitating the likelihood of entering the Super-O zone. This rewiring is accomplished through repeated Anerosessions, it is a form of mental conditioning/training wherein your body's sensate feedback teaches you the path forward and you then adapt/adjust your technique to enhance subsequent sessions. If the techniques you employ hinder the establishment of these new neural connections then your progress is likely to be delayed.

For newbies to prostate stimulation and prostate based orgasms the neural pathways/associations do not yet exist so they need to begin growing this new path. Unfortunately, the orgasmic model most males are accustomed to is penile based stimulation leading to ejaculatory orgasms but this model doesn't work well leading one to the Super-O, in fact, by definition, the Super-O is a non-ejaculatory orgasm. Hence the admonition to avoid penile stimulation which can result in ejaculatory orgasms which only reinforces the traditional orgasmic model. Rewiring is about establishing a different, alternative orgasmic model and pathway to pleasure based upon prostate stimulation as the primary focus. Prostate orgasms are generally non-ejaculatory in nature and are qualitatively different from penile based orgasms.

Once one is sufficiently "rewired" then occasional ending of Anerosessions with a Super-T is probably not problematic.

Thanks @rumel. Your response was pretty much what I was thinking, though you know how to put thoughts/words into a coherent line of thinking that makes sense. Even though i have reached many of the milestones for the rewired checklist I still do not get super O's consistently or even dry O's for that matter, maybe my brain is still holding onto that old feedback of traditional orgasms which unfortunately I tend to reinforce almost every session. I know what I have to do now, but do I have the will power? lol I actually kind of like the idea of teasing my brain with repeated sexual frustration through prostate stimulation and no traditional release, that HAS to lead to something, hopefully. I will try it out and report back. I've gone two weeks before, this time I will go for one month and see what difference it makes.

I know what I have to do now, but do I have the will power?.The old feedback will always be there, it was your first sexual model and has been reinforced through years of repetition. It is unreasonable to think you can just turn it off like an on-off switch. Think of Aneros use as adding a three-way dimmer switch to the circuitry, you turn down power on the traditional orgasmic approach whilst turning up the power through the new Aneros circuitry. You are not trying to forget what you have done in the past, you are trying to develop new expanded capabilities for the future, old skills need not be lost or forsaken, merely re-prioritized to allow alternate modes of sensuality to take precedence.I actually kind of like the idea of teasing my brain with repeated sexual frustration through prostate stimulation and no traditional release, that HAS to lead to something, hopefully. Arousal - YES, hopefully, sexual frustration - NO! Aneros use allows a man to know there is pleasure available anytime he is aroused, this doesn't mean he will experience the sexual satiation associated with the dopamine crash/ prolactin rush induced by an ejaculation. You may wish to read the threads Are you "aroused"? & Aneros, Arousal & Abstinence for more information.

While you are helping ineverknew, you are helping me and countless others who are trying to break the mold of our traditional point and shoot mindset that involves mostly our penises, and adopt and conform to different internal signals and means of arousal building in prostate orgasms.

Thanks for taking so much time is such a gifted didactic fashion which you are blessed with.

Remel's description of the relearning/rewiring process was very helpful to me. I can remember having arousals as a pre-teen, and being amazed and frightened by them at the same time. With these arousals was also a feeling of yearning which I now experience with prostate arousals. Later came the nocturnal emissions during wet dreams which confused me further s especially after my father's explanation of what was going on. I finally almost accidentally discovered that massaging my penis would produce these arousals, the yearning, the ejaculation and hormonal rush, followed by the"little death", arousal, yearning and semen gone. This happened around 12 years old, delayed thanks to the"good sisters" who told me that touching myself was a sin, even though it made no sense until I actually got around to touching myself and putting all these experiences together. This is how I learned about my sexual side and remained my experience for years until I "came out" and learned about my attraction to other men. But that's another story.

Now I'm at the point that the same point as the writer of this post. I have learned to savor very long prostate orgasm sessions, followed by a"super T". There have been very satisfying in themselves but as I get used to them, I've become curious about these super O's, and wonder if there's another"ah ha" moment awaiting me just like years ago when I put all those disparate sexual experiences together. Fortunately this time I have more experienced men around on this forum who are learning just like me although more experienced.

Now to my question. I know what prostate orgasms are, but have not experienced the"involuntaries" that people talk about or had the aneros move by itself which I assume is caused by the involuntaries. I imagine involuntaries are involuntary muscular contractions like the ejaculation response that occurs when a certain level of sexual arousal is reached. I further imagine that the involuntary muscular contractions are of different muscles, say the anal and/or PC muscles. And I finally assume that the goal of these involuntaries is to stimulate the prostate for a protracted time and producing a protracted involuntary orgasm called a super O. Am I correct so far?

If so, I assume that the super O experience is a worthy goal because it is part of my inheritance as a man and it is just awesome! From where I sit, not having experienced it and just going by the word of some men on this forum, I feel like I am back in my pre-teens trying to put together many facts, fantasies and some misinformation to realize what this other sexual experience is like and achieving it.

My experience has been of arousals from voluntary contractions of my sphincter and PC muscles ala keggels. I've experimented with every position and sequence of contractions, and fatiguing these muscles which I assume is what causes the involuntaries. I've had limited experience of involuntary muscular contractions from fatiguing. Am I conceptually in the pall park still?

But ejaculation is not caused by fatigued muscles, is it? So it seems to me that a super O is caused by an artificial exercise of certain muscles assisted by an artificial device, the aneros which doesn't sound very sexy when deconstructed this way. Am I correct in this analysis?

The videos of super O sessions look very much like seizures that I've seen and also don't look very sexy. In fact they look down right scary and unpleasant. The only thing that keeps me curious about these super O's is my previous experience with putting together various scary, unlikely and not necessarily pleasant facts about my body and arriving at a concept of sexual arousal and ejaculation which has served me well.

So I have an open mind where my body is concerned but have learned not to be credulous and take any one's word but to learn the truth of it. Have I assumed or stated anything contrary to experienced men about the whole super O experience in these paragraphs? Thanks in advance for any response.

euphemistic,

I think you have a pretty good grasp of the underlying concepts here. I suspect you do have an "ah ha" moment in store for you with the arrival of a Super-O and Yes it is well worth time spent practicing.
Am I correct so far?Involuntary muscle contractions may be caused by a variety of conditions such as dietary deficiencies, diseases, external electrical stimulation, tactile stimulation, muscle fatigue and orgasms to name just a few. Why do we want to induce these involuntaries? The involuntary contraction of the various pelvic floor muscles drives the movement of the Aneros to gently stroke across the surface of the prostate causing pleasurable sensations. The movement of the Aneros (through the action of the P-tab) in turn stimulates an acupressure point in the perineum triggering another muscle contraction, this is the basic concept of the Aneros design, to set up a self perpetuating feedback loop of contraction leading to movement, leading to pleasurable stroking, leading to stimulating another contraction and repeat. But ejaculation is not caused by fatigued muscles, is it? So it seems to me that a super O is caused by an artificial exercise of certain muscles assisted by an artificial device, the aneros which doesn't sound very sexy when deconstructed this way. Am I correct in this analysis?I agree with you about ejaculation not being caused by fatigued muscles but by involuntary muscle contractions brought on by orgasm. However, I differ on your characterization of the Super-O being caused by "...an artificial exercise of certain muscles assisted by an artificial device...". I think this is much more complex than that. The Super-O is a state of being created by your body and mind working in tandem but not under conscious control. You may instigate an Anerosession with conscious intent but you really have no way of knowing if you will experience a Super-O nor can you coerce your body to fabricate one through force of will or a regimented exercise routine. While many men have attempted to delineate a scripted path to the Super-O none has succeeded for the majority of users. This is one of the mysterious paradoxes of Aneros practice, I don't have the specific answer or the specific technique but there do seem to be some general conditions necessary for the Super-O to manifest. It is those general conditions which I try to relate to newbie users in their journey along the Aneros path.

So are you saying that the P tab is responsible for triggering the involuntaries? That's the first time I've read that in the forum. I'm completely unaware of what the P tab is doing during my sessions although sometimes I play with it and get some good sensations. Maybe I should pay a little more attention to it.

What I've noticed today is a minute but constant latency between the aneros stroking my prostate and the sensation of pleasure. It's like a sweet echo between touch and reaction in a fraction of a second, the movement of the aneros creating anticipation of pleasure, over and over. And at some point my arousal was enough to use my PC muscle as if to move my penis. This resulted in some involuntaries, my first BTW. I was unaware of any involvement of the P tab contributing to the involuntaries at this point. And the more I exercised my PC muscle while focusing on erotic sounds, the more I felt the involuntaries happening. Great day!

Anyway this is how I envision what is happening inside me, your results may vary. I suppose that the point is that we all envision these internal happenings in our own way. Yet I wonder if we may sometime in the future map the common features of this internal landscape.with some kind of universal vocabulary that we are taught as boys. Science fiction? I think not.

Until then, I must say that I really appreciate this open and frank forum for men helping other men to simply learn how to feel pleasure. It's such a contrast to the usual crap that we men often do to each other every day. And I especially appreciate getting this kind of help coming from straight men. I've been involved in many men's support groups, some for gay men and some for any man. While all these groups were useful in exploring our issues as men, none were this personal and broke down some of the barriers that often separate gay men from straight. Very refreshing!

Maybe I should pay a little more attention to it.I don't think "... the P tab is responsible for triggering the involuntaries..." per se, but it is a contributing factor. The function of the P-tab is to provide supplemental massage and stimulation contributing to the overall sensual feedback loop. From the Aneros Learning Center > FAQ's "Once the Aneros is inserted, it naturally seeks out the prostate gland (the Male G-Spot) while the perineum abutment gently massages the acupressure spot related to the pudendal nerves. This plexus of nerves is largely responsible for distributing sensations of pleasure throughout the uro-genital area." & "What is the perineum acupressure spot? - It is a dime-sized spot located between the scrotum and the opening of the anus. It is situated about 1 1/2 to 2 inches from the opening of the anus. Beneath this spot, inside the body, lies a nerve center that is largely responsible for the transmission of signals (of pleasure) throughout the genital region. Aneros stimulates these nerves, while simultaneously stimulating nerves inside the anus and the prostate gland." Also read the manufacturer's IMPORTANT note in the Stage1 - Relaxation & Concentration instruction section.

I think you may better understand if you also read Aneros Basics and the Understanding Your Body sections of the WIKI. Many men have initially found the P-tab uncomfortable and even slightly painful as it stimulated their sweet spot even to the point of employing mitigation measures to soften the P-tab's impact. Others have felt the P-tab to have little effect on their reactions or the Aneros models performance, again we see the individual's variability come into play here. I don't think you need to necessarily pay special attention to this area, just be aware that it plays a subtle, but valued, part of the Aneros design concept.

Thanks, rumel, for pointing me towards the Understanding Your Body article. I have read the others, but missed that one. It put all the pieces of anatomy together for me and gave me a better concept of my body and pleasure response. I took advanced anatomy and physiology in school but didn't get any information about the A and P of pleasure. I found myself wishing that so-called Health class in high school taught this to boys. However, that may just be adding kindling to the fire for adolescent boys.

I forgot to say, from the article learned that I was confusing my P waves for orgasms. I guess I still don't have a firm concept of what an orgasm is as opposed to arousal.

The problem for me is that the P waves become increasingly powerful as the slight latency between sliding over the prostate followed by the P waves, gradually merge and intensify into arousal, then I become lost in the sensations. This lost, uncontrollable feeling is what I was calling orgasm.

I think it should be possible to describe the whole experience from stimulation to arousal to orgasm, with the stimulus-response language of nerve pathways found in the article if this physiology is understood. I have not seen this sspelled out in this way. Then the subjective piece, the mind's part in interpreting what is going on, could be dealt with separately. This way would avoid the argument of mind versus body that I have seen here. Any thoughts?
