So, last few days I've had this constant itching/tingling feeling on my anus. It all started after I experienced an anal orgasm by applying some pressure to the anus and just relaxing. The feeling is not a pleasant one, but it's not super unpleasant either. It is however extremely distracting. It's constantly there and paying attention to it only makes it worse. It's ruining my productivity and it's making it hard for me to fall asleep. I'm going insane here. The thought of having to live with this for the rest of my life is terrifying.

Has anyone here experienced this? Is there anything I can do? Will it go away by itself?

Yes I have experienced anal itching from a hemorrhoidal flareup and Aneros 'butt buzz'. There are four things which immediately come to mind.
1.) You may have initiated a flareup of a minor hemorrhoid. An over the counter treatment ointment may help resolve the issue in a few of days to a week or two. After which you may be able to get back to pleasurable anal play.
2.) Your anal play may have caused some minor tearing or irritation and your body is now in the process of healing the injury by mobilizing the immune system to act and repair the damaged tissues. Depending on the extent of injury, your general health and age this healing could take a couple of weeks to resolve. Keeping the area clean and irritation free is probably the best solution but if it doesn't resolve in two weeks then a trip to the doctor is suggested.
3.) You may be having an allergic reaction to the lubrication you were using, check the ingredients label and make note of them. See the Lubrication and Health sections in the Aneros WIKI. Clean the area well and cease using that lube. The condition will probably resolve itself in less than a week. Try using a different lube in the future, preferably one with few potential reactive chemicals.
4.) You may be experiencing a common condition known to Aneros users as 'butt buzz', from the WIKI Glossary "butt buzz is persistent, even insistent, energy in your anus, rectum, prostate, perineum, scrotum/testicles area, sometimes experienced spontaneously apart from an Aneros session. Faint to mild muscle spasms leading up to an orgasm may also occur." This will usually abate within hours but could last a day or two. I believe this particular condition is the result of having awakened the nerves in the area of the prostate, the newness of these sensations can be startling but they soon diminish and you will learn to accept this as part of your new 'normal' life, something enjoyable even without your Aneros present.

There is no reason to panic or be terrified by any of the above, however, if you are experiencing any pain, bleeding or discharge then you should definitely have a qualified physician investigate to diagnose and suggest treatment. Good Vibes to You !

I probably overreacted a little earlier. You're probably right about option 1 or 2. Most likely 2. I didn't actually penetrate myself so it's not 3. It's not 4 because I have that sometimes as well anywhere near the perineal area, and that's actually enjoyable when it happens. I also randomly get weak p-waves, which makes me feel good for some time. In fact, I woke up today because of a stronger than usual p-wave. A very nice alternative to an alarm clock!

Thanks for answering!
