guys-
(yes, its true, i have not been posting much lately. so it goes.)
any of you guys suffering from lube issues, particularly it drying out and getting sticky? this method solves that problem, and might give your sessions a fantastic boost. it is a variation on the "condom method."
what you will need:
- a condom
- water based lube
- a lube injector
in the past, when i used the condom method i would fill the condom with lube, put the aneros inside the condom, and stuff the condom covered aneros into my butt. but my anus would squeeze much of the lube out of the condom as it went in.
instead:
[LIST=1]
if you only unroll the condom enough to get the injector into your butt then you won't have a lot of extra condom flapping around outside your butt. that will help you insert the aneros into the condom. its tricky because you can't see what you are doing down under.
your anus keeps everything in place. the aneros swims around inside the lube-filled condom and has excellent mobility without ever drying out.
let me know how it works for you,

Cool post Darwin !!
This worked great and I oozed less lube during insertion and the sessions went squishilly well. 🙂
I did runs with my two "de-tailed" tools, a Maximus and an SGX -- nice! Upon 'suck-in' of the SGX, the nub slides easily through the outer sphincter and the head really snuggles into the lower half of my prostate. (probably 1/4" more penetration then with the SGX bare.)
Tks for the note regarding 'observability' I added a shaving mirror to the 'bill of materials.'

Great tip Darwin. I have never used the condom approach but I will give it a try.
I gave this a go last night with the Vice because I never really tried the condom approach before. I wonder if this works better with the smaller models? It didn't seem to make a difference as far as the mobility. The vice did not slide around inside the condom the way I had hoped. I will try again with more lube and unrolling the condom further. (I basically unrolled condom a few inches then had condom ring just outside my anus for easy insertion of the aneros head.) Thanks for the tip Darwin, I'm guessing it's just user error on my end lol bad pun
Not recommended for the Vice! Condoms are often lubricated (inside and out) with a silicone lube, and that's bad for the Vibe.
Neuro-
for the vice, then, as twlltin suggests, be sure to use unlubricated condoms. let us know how your next try goes. the condom does need to go in deep enough that there is some slack, so try unrolling further, and if needed, pre-insert the condom with, say, the handle end of a wooden spoon.

OK so second attempt last night was better. Just doubled the lube in the injector and greased up the vice with water based lube and a hint of natural jelly recipe. I can't wait to try with progasm or helix. Takes a little extra prep, but well worth it. I also enjoyed the feeling of removing the condom mid-session and letting vice ride bareback. Feels like the other side of a pillow on a hot summer night
Natural jelly is also the wrong thing for a condom -- it's oil based, and that will rot the rubber.

Yes, it might fail, and you could get pregnant.
Great tip Darwin. I have never used the condom approach but I will give it a try.
I haven't tried it either, but now I know I'm going to spend my evening. This sounds like a great idea.
I have never tried using a condom with my Aneros. It sounds like something I would love to try, but I was just curious if there is a risk of losing the condom inside you ? Does it come back out easily ?
no risk of it getting stuck. the unrolled part stays outside. it comes out easily.
Thanks Darwin. Looking forward to trying this on my next session.
Last nite was my fourth spin at Darwin's new condom lube method. I wanted to find out how much the Condom obscured those nice feelings from the nib on the 'nose' of the Aneros Classic and second, to see how damaging Crisco was to a latex condom. For a couple of hours before my condom lube session I'd built some good vibes by packing my Aneros Tempo greased with Vaseline. So I was was mildly hyped and GTG. I got horizontal, inserted the condom and slid in Dame Classic.
Objective #1. Shortly after insertion I had a major abdominal contraction soon followed by a pair of dry-Os. Running in near 'automatic,' I relaxed to savor the afterglow and went into my meditation routine, affirming an Orgasmic experience. 20 minutes later I spoke my mantra and "listened" for the soon-to-emerge whispers. Nada. Nothing. Tried some contractions but had few of the expected sensations and my lust was fading fast.
My breathing was easily moving the Classic inside the condom but there was no no sensory feedback from my anal canal and I wasn't sensing Dame Classic's 'nose.' Pre-cum was nil. I finally fell asleep and awakened four hours later. Same situation again.
Slipped Dame Classic out of the condom, pulled out the condom and decided to ride it bareback. Not much more sensation. Classic's nose was faintly present but less obvious than usual. During clean up I fetched the condom wrapper from the wastebasket to check the expiration date: "Durex, made in India, expiration June, 2013 ... Performax" I had grabbed a condom at random, without checking the specific type. The numbing agent did it's job, as advertised!
Objective #2: The condom had been exposed to oil based lubes at body temp for over 4 hours, with an hour of vigorous exercise.
On the outside, Slippery Stuff (gel) with a generous amount of Crisco in the Anal canal plus a dab of residual Vaseline (from the Tempo session). On the inside: ID Glide and a Crisco coated Aneros.
In the shower, I inflated the condom with water. finally when it was the size of a Rugby football, I gave it a gentle shake and it failed about an inch down from the tip.
Conclusion: Silicone lubed Latex condoms are probably a lot more rugged around oil based lubes than I had assumed. A condom failure isn't going to be a disaster when it's not employed to prevent disease or pregnancy. I see no reason to avoid using them with any of our popular lubes for simple Aneros play.
enjoy!
rook, you ol' scientist, very interesting!
on first reading, in which i scanned rather then perused, i didn't notice that the failure of sensation you experienced with the condom was because the condom had a numbing lube.
i just want to highlight that in case others interested in this method missed that, and thought the problem was the condom itself.

I used Progasm so I could insert it into the condom before inserting in me. I don't know if this session would have been worse or better w/o the condom, but it was probably my best session. However, the last 3 or 4, using smallest Peridise or Helix have been terrific, improving each time. I have been using aneros since middle of 2010. Will try the Helix with condom.
After I got the 'feel' for this, the shaving mirror wasn't needed. Dame Classic will get another ride tonight.
This time without the anesthetic !
I don't see the advantage of the condom. My next session after using condom was better than the one with it. In fact, I think the wrinkles in the condom caused some irritation.
Ok...this is my preferred method from now on. Wonderful suggestion! It was awesome. 🙂
This method has proven to be a really good thing. I had a session last night for 2+ hours that is one for the record books! Now granted, there were some other factors in play, but I really do like the feel of this method. It certainly does keep the lube where it needs to be. The first time I tried it there was a slight spillage on the withdraw of the lube injector, but last night it was flawless.
Bump.
I bought a couple of packs of "Oil resistant" condoms that are un-lubed. Used one last night with Darwin's new method. Vaseline played well on the outside with I.D. Glide on the inside. Discovered my "Power Super-O" and blogged the result.
Now I've added Maximus and SGX to my orgasmic faves of Helix and Eupho. Now Vice and -syn can ride in a condom without worry!
.... enjoy & blessings ... rook
Have tried the condom method before with some messy and unsatisfactory results for obvious reasons, but I will say that after last night, with this new method and my Helix, I did a complete 180 turn on my thinking and will be revisting this method more often in the future, and might have something to add to it(still a little messy for me, although that might change with practice).

For Pro-Jr. owners. Condom method is really cool with this new ICE toy. Very slipperly!
I took a crack at this improved method with my helix the other night. Results were promising and I will be exploring this further with other models.
couldn't one just wrap the condom (lubed inside) around the aneros and tie a rubber band around the end/base?
