If so thoughts and opinions on if it added or took away feelings.
Does anyone wear or has worn a cock ring during your session(s)?
Yes, I frequently use one during an Anerosession for a couple of reasons. First, the ring forces the testes to fill the scrotal sack, stretching the skin and inducing increased sensitivity to touch, temperature and pressure. This helps maintain arousal level without touching the penis. Second, the restriction forces the Cremaster muscle to work a little harder in its attempt to regulate testicle temperature. This also heightens arousal as the subtle effort the body makes adds to the overall sensual experience of the session. Finally, for those men who are trying to avoid accidental HFWO's, the restriction prevents the testes from being pulled up into the body as they are want to do when you approach the PONR, thus reducing the tendency to ejaculate. Cock rings do more than just help maintain/prolong erections.
Good Vibes to You !
Well now, coincidentally I gave this a shot last week for the first time. I would not consider it for a regular session but on this occasion I was intending to end the session with an ejaculation and was interested to see whether it had anything to offer. A resounding “yes” is the answer! I began with just the Eupho Trident until I was getting some nice feelings and then I slipped on my cock and ball ring. My erection grew and grew until the glans looked as it it might burst, I alternated between stroking and edging the glans and then concentrating on sensations from the prostate. It all lasted quite a while, due to the ring I think, but the resulting orgasm and ejaculation was very strong. I could feel each spasm from my prostate as it pumped away time and again.
Ive been hesitant to try this, as cock rings increase sensitivity in the penis. My thought process being that I'd be more likely to prematurely end a session from minor stimulation (sheets, clothing etc). But reading @rumel's recommendation of cock/ball rings is making me reconsider.
If you are looking for a good one of those, the Oxballs Cocksling 2 is bloody brilliant.
I usually wear "cock-ring-like" bondage in the days leading up to an Aneros session.
"Why not just wear a cock-ring?" you ask. I can't seem to get them to work... either they are too painful to get on (for me) or once in I just kind of slip out... unfortunately, I'm a "little lopsided" in my anatomy so the "little one" does't cooperate and is always slipping out... so they are just not really an option for me... also my boys tend to be close to my body with not a lot of "dangle" so there is not a lot of area for a cock ring to sit.
But, I've found away to make the concept work.... I use two lengths of rope - the ropes diameter is about 1/8 inch. The first is simply a "thong" frame:
1) The doubled rope goes around the waist and collects in front via a simple "larks head"
2) the running ends go between the legs (one strand of the doubled rope passes on either side of the shaft and balls), up the butt crack and tie off in the back (one strand on either side of the balls).
3) I've placed a nice permanent knot in this rope that sits behind the balls and presses into my perenium (optional) for masimum sensation.
That "rope thong" creates a body hugging framework that allows the next rope to act as a cock ring and not allow me to slip out.
So the second rope...
1) double the rope (as in any classic rope bondage work) and pass the rope under the rope thong behind the balls, bring both ends (the loop end and the running end) up around the base of the cock.
2) pass the loose (running) end through the loop and reverse directions making a larks head, and draw it tight so that a rope cock ring is formed around the shaft and behind the balls.
3) lay the running end over top of the the already in place "cock ring" around and under the balls and then back up and begin wrapping around the thong frame in front - to anchor the cock loop
4) I make three semi-stung, but partly loose wraps around the shaft (low near the balls, medium o the shaft and high at the frenulum/crown) and then tie off on the frame up near the first larks head of the first rope.
In away the second rope makes a "cock cage" (because an erection strains against the ropes) and a "cock ring" (because of the loop around and behind the balls). The "thong" nature of the first rope (along with the optional knot) kind of "digs in" with that "bondage loving rope-bite" kind of "paint" and just builds my horniness. I wear it to bed and sleep in it... usually the night time erections cause "good pain" from the restraints... such that even so much as a PC kegel flex intensifies the "pain"... I say "pain" but its a good pain... I guess you sort of have to be into bondage to appreciate it... but its a form/tie I've perfected and improved upon over the years with a few variations depending on the goal - but it works for me. My wife thinks I'm crazy (I like to put it on in front of her).
I've not tried this during an Aneros session - I just use it to build horniness. the "thong" ropes near the anus might get in the way of the Aneros, but I could probably make it work... I'm a little intrigued now, so I may try it! The are some modifications to the tie that could be done to separate the ropes from the anus area allowing the Aneros free access. - yeah, I'm definitely gonna have to try that!
I've had some of my most intense sessions with Aneros while wearing cock rings, I definitely suggest you try it if you haven't, it definitely enhances the experience for me!
For years I have been using a cock ring when I masterbate or have sex with my wife. I use the ring that encases my balls and Penis. Since I am older it helps me maintain an erection. Since I started the anerous journey I have not used it since I was afraid that it would focus my attention on my penis instead of my prostate. After reading these comments I will slip it on and see what happens.
Thanks for the discussion and hopefully it will help on my journey to the big O!!!
I usually wear a silicon ring during my sessions. Sometimes it doesn't make any difference if it is a flaccid session.
Have been pulling out the cock ring during the last couple sessions after using it last week to finish out my session wet as an every 2-3 week treat. Thanks to whomever suggested using it during a traditional orgasm to increase penis sensitivity. Wow, was it ever fantastic.
While wearing a cock ring certainly does increase penis sensitivity, it can at times be distracting and focus feelings and attention on the penis instead of the prostate. I believe if I use it more frequently I should get more accustomed to this and not have it be so distracting.

I have. It indeed adds some interesting sensations, most of the time. And I suggest that we use some not-so-tight rings for safety reasons. Also, loose but not too loose rings would gently hug and caress your male parts in a very sensual way that enhances pleasure. But I do like to use aneros without cockring, too. Your body would appreciate different experiences.
As @rumel explained so beautifully, cockrings perform some important functions for the male gender. (Therefore, fathers! please consider buying some good cockrings for your 18-year boys; it is a "coming-of-age ceremony and a like-father-like-son-bond.)
I have tried some interesting products like the "cock-lock-intruder by The Chain Gang https://www.thechaingang.com/cock-lock-intruder.html (good customer-service) (this company has some high quality ball-weights (the "bullet" is the most comfortable) https://www.thechaingang.com/bullet-ball-stretcher-weight.html
and the Oxballs Ass-lock by Gear Essentials https://gearessentials.com/collections/ass/products/ass-x-ass-lock
Despite their different "names" (cock-lock or ass-lock) or materials (metal or silicone rubber), these fun products are basically a combo of cockring + buttplug in ONE piece. Some similar products do add some kind of perineum-stimilators on to the in-between-arm (metal or silicone) that connects the cockring in the front and the buttplug in the rear.
These ONE-PIECE "cock-lock" and "ass-lock" are fun toys to play with. But the length of the in-between-arm is fixed and cannot accommodate different body types or same body in different occasions.
These ONE-PIECE designs usually would not have the best cockring and the best buttplugs in such a kind of combo. And obviously, these ONE-PIECE designs cannot accommodate Aneros massagers very well.
In my humble opinion, it is better to just use your own favorite cockring(s) and your favorite ass-toys to do your own various combonations. And you do not reallyneed the in-between-arm to connect the two together.
So, the front piece and the rear piece could each does their own acts, with plenty of flexibility.
For the rear piece, I now absolutely prefer Aneros OVER buttplug. Buttplugs totally block the "airway" and I do not believe this is healthy...my bias; Aneros would not block the airway. Buttplugs just stuck there (yes, I know a lot of people like the "stretch") and do not move; Aneros moves and caresses---with the MAMA motions.
So, when I have the opportunity and in mood, I just put my "Little Prince" Eupho Syn Trident in. Some newbies worry that it could fall out. It could, for newbies' asses are not used to the "foreign objects" as guests and often expel them. But once your body get used to the Aneros and your prostate awaken, your anorectal chamber would transform into a greedy mouth that would suckle the aneros like baby sucking a pacifer.
For the front, now my favorite cockring is the "Scorpio" by Esculpta https://www.esculpta.com/p/100/jockring-scorpio-silvertone.html#/19-plating_option-goldtone_24kt_gold_plated_alloy
I attest it really works beautifully.
Both Aneros Trident Syn and Scorpio have the special "appendage" to take care of the perineum, so when used in combonation, your perineum will not say it is a neglected child any more. Your precum is the witness.
I have put some descriptions of my observations of "Scorpio" in this thread (Tennis Ball) https://community.aneros.com/community/general-discussion/tennis-ball/#post-112476 (With this beast "Scorpio," you do not need to use tennis ball any more and you do not need to sit there...)
In any case, if using a metal ring, safety should be the priority concern. So, I emphasize again, perhaps you could try a loose (but not too loose) ring and see if you like the experience.
My philosophy: these devices are not to force your bodies; they should wake up your bodies and let your own bodies to pleasure themselves and let good things happen naturally.
Enjoy! Gulliver
I went to the Esculpta site and looked around, it's quite a trip, man these guys are serious when it comes to cock rings. It's clear they think about cock rings all the time, maybe as much as I think about the Super-O. Anyway, there's one thing I couldn't figure out about the Scorpio :
I get that the ring itself is two parts, and they connect with the rubber tubing(?) at the bottom, and you can separate them and slip the tail on or off, or use different lengths of rubber to adjust the ring. That's a smart design. At the top, there's a notch on one side to slip the O-Ring into, which makes it quick-release, and that's smart too. But is there a way to open the other side to replace the O-ring? I can't figure it out...
[...] But is there a way to open the other side to replace the O-ring? I can't figure it out...
Haha @zentai yes some men are thinking about cocks and cockrings all the time!
And YES, it is in fact quite easy to replace the rubber O-ring held by the pair of pincer of the "Scorpio" --- you just pull it open.
But the O-ring is rather thin, so I rarely pull the configuration open. Usually, when I put the ring on I just guide my balls and penis through the configuration as in the process of wearing a metal ring. When taking it off, same process in reverse.
Thus, I rarely open the O-ring. Hopefully, in this way, the rubber could "last longer." The designer must already forsee this, so when they ship the product (via FedEx) to you, they send you extra set of rubber parts.
I believe the customer service "Chat with Us" https://www.esculpta.com/ (the green box at the lower right corner of the webpage screen) could provide more accurate info.
It is rather expensive...but it is worthy and fun investment.
Cheers, Gulliver
Thanks for your quick answer!
The way they designed this got me thinking about using different O-ring materials and size to get different level of tension, this is miles beyond the basic welded metal rings that I have in mind when people talk about cock rings. Yeah, somewhat expensive, but that's to be expected when you get into any specialized or "connoisseur" product such as this.
Does anyone wear or has worn a cock ring during your session(s)?
I own one, and I have used it during sessions! It's a plain, general metal cock ring that can be found at any sex store, and to be honest I don't use it much even for non-prostate play. It doesn't add too much to my session, but I think I've only worn it maybe 4 times when using the Aneros. I like a feeling of freedom of movement and nakedness during my sessions, so this may be a contributing factor. I'm really impressed with the level of thought Rumel put into his cockring practice, and like Gulliver Plus' cool cockring that he uses!
I’ve worn a cock and ball rind during manual prostate massage and pegging from the wife. It’s ok during a session, but it can make my penis ache a bit from getting too engorged when the prostate is really dancing.
