what are your thoughts on changing between models during a session? I have been at it for over a year and although I have not experienced a super O, my sessions are generally very pleasurable. My routine for the last several months has been to start off with the mgx and then switch to the progasm, and sometimes back to the mgx.
The most intense time for me is usually within the first 20 minutes of insertion then it quiets down - sometimes it returns and sometimes it doesn't.
when I switch, it generally brings about a new wave of pleasure. Give me your thoughts on this.... should I not switch and just stick with one model per session?
I switch between Helix, Eupho, and Peridise in many sessions.
If what I am using is not working or stops working I switch to one that does work.
BTW, I find that using a syringe to clean my rectum prior to a session is very helpful. If I have feces in my rectum it restricts the movement and/or gets between my Aneros of choice and my prostate.
helixbill: how often do you switch? what I mean is how much time would you give a certain model before trying another?
the peridise isn't part of my routine - I have the larger set and it just doesn't do much for me - at least nothing like the other models
I usually switch once per session. My usual is to start with either the progasm, eupho or maximus, then switch to the peridise. The combination works well, as one is slowing down the other one takes over and picks up the session.

I let my body tell me if and when to switch. If I am not enjoying a session after 10 or 15 minutes or if I feel some discomfort from a particular model then I switch.
For instance, the Helix will sometimes feel like it is too large and/or not stimulating the prostate. At that point I switch to the Eupho.
If I start with the Eupho and it feels like it is 'irritating' my prostate rather than producing pleasurable sensations I will switch to the Helix or the Peridise.
The good thing about the Peridise is if my perineum feels a bit sore from overactivity the Peridise does not put any pressure on the perineum.
The only way I can describe it is "If it ain't working do something different".
And if it is still not working just quit and wait until tomorrow. The worst thing I can do is to try to force any feelings.
BTW, I have started sleeping with the smallest Peridise in all night. It provides just enough sensation that it feels good but doesn't keep me awake. But if I wake up in the middle of the night (which I often do) I can spend a few minutes enjoying it and it helps me relax and go back to sleep.
Helixbill,
I often sleep with the Peridise in but usually for 3 hrs or less. When you say you sleep with it in all night how many hours is that? I have been thinking of trying the whole night but wondered about the length of time.

funny you would start with the progasm and work down ... I do just the opposite and start small and work up

I sleep for 8 hours or so with it in. If I wake up and it is causing any discomfort I remove it. About the only thing that causes any discomfort is if my rectum starts filling with feces. Since the rectum is the final 'holding area' for feces it will be pretty much empty most of the time. Once it fills I get the 'urge' to defecate.
So far all I have experienced has been good.
