Can't feel my aneros

Hi Aneros members,

about two months ago I've started with prostate play using my finger and I got good results sometimes ending in a prostate orgasm. My problem was that my finger got tired after a while and I couldn't go on so I thought why not buy a toy to stimulate further. After some research I found the Helix Syn and I've read only positive things so I bought it and tried it out today. I could insert it easily using some lube and I was pretty comfortable with it - well it has about the same size as my finger so I knew that it'll fit. My problem is however that I felt nothing - well nothing comparable to stimulating by using my finger. I've inserted it for almost an hour, made some breathing exercises as suggested and did some contractions. But it didn't come close to my finger. I don't want to buy a bigger aneros, because I really like the size of the helix. What did I miss?

You didn't miss anything. What you describe is quite normal. You made a great decision to start with Helix Syn. You need to gain more experience getting used to the feeling of Helix in place and your body generating the very subtle sensations that will build eventually to extremely pleasurable orgasms. Continue to study the Wiki with particular attention on how to relax during your sessions and develop a state of mind that goes into each session without any pre-conceived expectations other than to enjoy whatever happens...this will unlock the pleasure that you seek. Best of luck in your journey!✌️

In my opinion, I would cut-back on the finger stim and concentrate on Aneros. Even though it may not be as intense initially, I am confident that it will yield the results you are looking for. You have taken the 'express' to prostate stim and you need to get on a different track (with Aneros) for a while. Good luck to you!

As you are pretty new using Aneros, you have to be patient and expect to use a lot of time with your eksperiments. Good luck.

Hi @Pat1. I also started with the Helix Syn 6 months ago having had a few finger sessions before. Like you, it took a long time to feel something on my prostate but these are feelings your body never experienced before. In my case, the HS can reach further than my finger so naturally, I expected instant better results; not the case.
To give the toy a better chance, I stopped using my finger alltogether. It paid dividends.
Now, I have just bought a second Aneros, the Progasm Ice and I do feel a lot more pressure. It is thanks to my 6 months with the HS that I have good sessions even if I have not reached the Super-O or even Dry-O levels.
Good luck and please don't give up on it.

@Pat1 It's kind of funny, me and you are complete oposites in a way. I too have been using aneros for about 6 months now and only eecently have I been advancing well. I've even managed a couple lesser orgasms!

Anyway, while you like the the wonderful pressure and sense of fullness, I find myself enjoying the smaller devices. Dont get me wronge, I love the full feeling, it's very arousing, but I just find it far too distracting if you know what I mean? I really enjoy the mobility and precision of smaller models that aid me in letting go and then going on to do the work for me.

Like the Progasm Ice for example, I like it, I just dont get good results from it. I find myself thinking about the pressure and how its poking things instead of visualizing the pleasure and expanding it. One BIG pro for the Progasm though, is if you just want to masturbate and don't have time for a session, stick that thing in there for marvelous Super-Ts. Thats what I usualy use it for.

Who know what the most mobile model is, I've been looking into this and can't figure it out? I'd appreciate suggestions please.

@lonewolf8

Well not exactly a trick, it's just I have come to some realizations. It isn't what you do per say, but what you let yourself do. You have to have the self controll and awareness to sit back and let your body do everything without mentaly or physicaly trying.

What I do, is kinda of like pretending you are a spectator and have no controll of whats happening. You completely let go, when contractions happen, it isn't me forcing them, they just happen. Now when these very small contractions happen I try, no not try, just ignore them and watch. I watch and visualize the pleasures and sensations untill I find the exact center of it all and work mentaly to grip those feelings and expanding them untill they explode and it happens on its own.

Its all a cycle of awareness, I never move, I never contract, and you never hope for something. You just enjoy it as it gives it to you, think you want nothing more than it gives you. Loose all expectations and end the session accordingly. Forcing it will ruin everything faster than you can blink.

Some things that happen I just can't write, I am in and out of a trance through the whole ordeal. And then somthing you will just have to learn yourself. You just have to do it once and then you will understand. Like I said, realization.

Also I would like to mention, im not actualy using an aneros when I have my successes, its off brand I think and is much smaller qith more mobility. Here is the link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00HI...eywords=aneros

This is definantly my favorite toy.

Good luck to you @lonewolf8! You just just have to light the spark and truely give in!

P.S. I also preloob with a loob injector. Not a whole lot, just enough to let things move freely.

And one last suggestion which I think was essential to gaining ground. Don't masturbate to end your sessions! Try to only use you aneros for a extended period of time. And at the very least, masturbate an hour after already removing this device. I truely believe this helps you loose you expectations and gain some self controll. Try it out! The worst that can happen is a traditional explosive orgasm from waiting!

Keep in mind that your finger has many well developed nerve endings that you've been cultivating for 20 or more years and your brain has a good sensory "map" of your finger tip. On the other hand, the nerve endings in your prostate are not yet well mapped. (we commonly refer to the whole sensory development process in the Aneros Journey as "re-wiring.")

When your fingertip presses on your prostate, blank spaces in the prostate "mapping" are easily 'filled-in' by the sensors in your fingertip. With experience, mental focus and session mindfulness (think Jon Kabat-Zinn) your prostate will "activate" as it's surface sensory nerves become "connected."

All the best ... rook
