Wanted to share a quick note, for both when using an Aneros, and without. For the past several weeks I have been experimenting with something I read a long time ago in a Tantric book (and quickly forgot), and then came across again online recently. The idea of "deep breathing" or "diaphragm breathing."
Basically it is almost like using your diaphragm to pull and push air for your breathing. The point here is that it has completely increased my ability to last longer while having sex with my wife. I don't feel the urge to ejaculate anywhere near as quickly when breathing like this. You basically have to engage your core as part of your breathing, kind of like when you suck your gut in while doing push-ups, if you know what I mean. For some reason breathing like this takes the focus off of the penis and the sensitivity related to being fully aroused, and that urge is delayed much longer and sometimes seems to just disappear. I have been having great success with this technique both during just the normal course of having intercourse. I have been able to go much longer; even when requested to get more aggressive and faster to push her over the edge (without doing the same myself...) She is a bit curious regarding this change. A pleasant surprise for sure. Anyone have any other resources for this type of breathing? I am trying to read up as much as possible on techniques. It is really a great discovery for me. I guess when I read the word diaphragm instead of just "deep" breathing it clicked for me.
As an amateur singer, I've trained myself to make diaphragm breathing my normal mode of breathing.
A very "deep" diaphragmatic breathing, along with a certain amount of concentration, has become for me a very good way for me to trigger p-waves.
CA25, You have heard of KSMO? The technique of making a sound that allows/causes a similar sort of breathing that you are talking about. Sometimes also known as Valley Breathing?
(Speaking in general terms here)
