There hasn't been much about breathing methods for a while on the forum so I thought I would write something about my methods and see if anyone has anything else to add, and any suggestions. In my opinion breathing (and concentration) is the key to using the Aneros.
On the wiki deep breathing is mentioned. I find that this builds sexual energy better than anything. A deep breath as if I am trying to get the air right down into the base of my pelvis, imagining the breath going into my prostate, or balls, works wonders; and once the good sensations start breathing around this point can build them beautifully - short breaths holding the breath deep as possible into a relaxed pelvis. It certainly helps to focus concentration and in Tai Chi it is taught that 'the chi flows where the mind goes' and so it focuses the chi/sexual energy.
The other method I use is that of feeling the breath at the back of my nose and 'pulling' the breath upwards. It is amazing what sort of orgasmic sensations this generates. At times it feels as if I can orgasm from this alone. It is THE method I use to amplify any orgasmic sensations I feel, and I use it to 'chase' any new sensations (combined with intense concentration) and amplify them up until they become an orgasm. Combining this with deep breathing I can feel a connection between my prostate and the space behind my nasal passages - I am sure there is a link there somehow.
Once I am in an orgasm I can build it using both of these methods, in fact if I don't it won't go anywhere, but put them together and super-O here I come!
Does anyone else have any favourite methods?
As well as the upward pull on the bulk of the belly breath as it releases upward, my most intense meditative focus is on the intake as it flows upward through the nasal cavity then turns downward into the lungs to produce the "belly breathing" effect. I find that focus keeps me relaxed yet able to introduce KSMO vocalizations onto the diaphragm and 'belly air' as it activates the muscles and organs in my DanTien (see Navel Chakra or DanTien as it is applied in Tai Chi or other Martial Arts disciplines.)
Im not sure about any of this breathing stuff and not convinced breathing in and out can induce an orgasm, however ive been using the trance recordings recently which is all around focussing mental thought and breathing exercises, if nothing else listening to her sweet suggestive voice helps clear my mind of clutter and thoughts and i find i relax loads better
Breathing techniques can be used to enhance orgasm, alter orgasm, speed it up, delay it etc. I learned this as a teenager. Keep to natural breathing control, e.g. don't use any devices or have any people restrict your breathing. A trusted breathing coach, say one's wife, is fine, but ultimately you must be control and there should be nothing to restrict.
I still find that for me, regular deep breaths can delay the onset of orgasm while several deep breaths, followed by holding my breath, can speed up orgasm although that orgasm will almost certain lead to ejaculation as well. No hands need.
Mostly I reckon breathing among my involuntaries. Like with my body motions sometimes coming to rest, then again going from slow to fast I am sometimes holding my breath for half a minute during longer super-os or I am as wildly panting as squirming taking the next run.
Only to initiate some aless moments I sometimes breath more deeply but give up command as soon as I feel the first waves of arousal. Then I just listen to my vibes coming up my spine floating through my body and let them take over control.
Thanks for the replies.
@C3PO breathing can certainly induce an orgasm all on its own! I know - I've done it in the past. There's even a lady on Youtube (actually several) who teach breath orgasms for a living, mostly to women, and I have seen a course on it advertised in London in the past. It's called Breath Orgasm, Energy Orgasm or ThinkGasm. I've never really got the hang of KSMO but I think it does something similar.
I'm quite surprised more people don't use this as a primary way to build orgasm. I can't imagine how I would do it without. Also it helps control a super-O, well not really control it but keep it going; and using the nose breathing pinpoints those little new orgasmic feelings and brings them on into something mind blowing - for me anyway
@rook I presume you are referring to the microcosmic orbit?
@smudgefish, I could have been quite surprised as well, cause to me it seems like falling from my horse at a gallop when focusing on breathing while taking a run to my next orgasm. To tell the truth, I believe we just brought forward proofs how different we are by nature.
P.S. Looking at our posts comparing our avatars and thinking about them as symbols of our vibes and our cosmic energy just now gave me a cute little chairgasm reminding me how new and unbelievable my re-wiring still appears to me and how glad I am about it.
Thanks again to all of you for all your ideas and reports that helped me that much! 😀
@smudgefish Thanks for bringing up the subject on breathing; I was looking for more info on the subject and the WIKI was not generous on details. Thank you @rook for your experience, I will benefit from it all as many others will I'm sure. Breathing is such a key to the rewiring in one's journey. I'm anxious to read more opinions.
I'm somewhere between SOwithoutAneros and the rest of you. I've felt the benefit of it, especially in regards to initially getting into a relaxed state, but once things start feeling good I find breathing deep to be distracting.
So once I'm relaxed I will focus more on what my body is doing / feeling and for the most part just let my breath take care of itself, which varies with how I'm feeling. Occasionally that will mean deep breathing, I just try not to consciously make that decision.
@SOwithoutAneros I agree how this demonstrates how different we all are in our responses and techniques.Worth bearing in mind when a newbie says "I just can't do it": any particular advice they are given may be of some value, but it may do absolutely nothing for them because it's just the way their body works. We all find our own way.
I am wondering if I am concentrating on breathing too much now. I might try easing off that aspect of it and see where it takes me.
@smudgefish, I only can encourage you to give it a try. To me it really seems as if my prostate even takes over my breath control to push things.
Otherwise your comment made me wondering where breath control might take ME.
Thus we pool experiences and travel together so that our journey will remain interesting and rewarding.
I love it this way and I must admit I never before took part in a forum living so much mutual acceptance and helpfulness. Perhaps this is part of our re-wiring helping us to find to a better self.
Thanks again to all of you.
Hey @all,
Does anyone else have any favourite methods?
Usually, I don't concentrate on my breath so much and rather stimulate my nervous system directly via meditation. But from time to time, I throw in a breathing only session, esp. anerosless, when I go to sleep. There are two techniques that work very lovely for me: KSMO (already mentioned) and the Circle Breath (not to be confused with circular breathing). I read about the Circle Breath in the book "Urban Tantra" by Barbara Carrellas. It's very simple yet effective: you just make sure that there is never a pause and you are either inhaling or exhaling at any given moment - like a sinus curve. When I breathe normally, I usually have a short pause on exhale - like a sinus curve where the bottom turning points would be chopped off. So I have to remind / force myself to inhale immediately w/o this pause. Addionally, I focus on the sensations in my pelvis as I "breath into it". A few days ago I got one of the sweetest belly orgasms from this which was pretty similar to a KSMO belly orgasm.
There's even a lady on Youtube (actually several) who teach breath orgasms for a living, mostly to women, and I have seen a course on it advertised in London in the past.
Sounds just like Barbara Carrellas. 😀 She teaches some awesome techniques (like the Circle Breath) and even proved to science in an MRI, that she is not faking. You may also find the "Clench and Hold" very intriguing.
I've never really got the hang of KSMO but I think it does something similar.
Indeed, she aims for the same result with different tools.
Cheers, Unfug
I'm sitting in my garage smoking cannabis. I start reading this thread and experience what I call "mini-O's" that happen along with my breathing. Every time I inhale, I relax almost all of my sphincter muscles. Every time I exhale I contract almost all of the sphincter muscles and repeat. In intervals of 5 seconds, I can feel this energy pulsating throughout my prostate. At this point I've learned I created an edge here, and I have to 'let go' of breathing and just relax. My muscles just feel tingly around my prostate and it feels like the Anero Helix Syn is auto-fucking my ass even though I'm A-less. It feels good, but when I finally 'let go' of everything is when I unh,,,,,,,,,,,,,meri4h4444444444444444444444ut
My dick is hard and it's tingling with pleasure. My prostate is pulsating and it's hard to typee without letting go. My legs feel full of energy. They're tingling all over I need to relax. My dick is still rock hard and I start thinking about sexual fantasies. My sexual fantasies feel REAL when I close my eyes this is fucking great. I'll post more later lads I'm gonna enjoy this fully.
Still overwhelmed I must tell you about my newest experiences with breathing.
Being on day 24 of SR (semen retention) and day 17 of MC (Mental Chastity - not touching my penis except for peeing and washing) I find myself on a new height of arousal. Due to some tummy ache I experienced my first breathgasms today. As inserting anything anal or doing any abs workout (how Aless happens to me in prone position) are not recommended at present I lay on my back when suddenly my gland took over breath control. I watched myself panting, humming, making the funniest breathing sounds in every pitch. A little amused about the sounds I then noticed that I got hard by this and sensed the first p-waves coming up. Some involuntaries happened and my whole body was filled with blissful feelings, transcending into a super-O with several dry orgasms with thrusting pelvis and precum leaking from my boner while feeling like poising on cloud nine.
Another super-O crushed over me, when I slightly touched my right nipple with my right little finger, my perineum with my left little finger, both thumbs and forefingers forming an "O" (a reliable tantra technique to enforce your vibes) and sucking my palate with my tongue. Together with letting my gland command my breathing this little finger touches gave me an out of earth pleasure.
Trying to repeat it I would say I am giving my involuntaries a voice. As you all know you can have an orgasm without any sound trying to not disturb your neighbour or you can shout out and cry as you do when you really can let go and your ecstasy takes over. If you try to accompany your involuntaries with a sound you begin to moan and to pant. Thus you already have begun your breathgasm. Now you try to loose control about your voice and your breathing and let involuntaries, moaning and breathing become one. The more you let go the more your gland will take over command. Don't be afraid of those silly noises you are producing. Sillyness is a stimulating wonder we all have forgotten since some teachers told us to stop laughing and instead sit still and listen - for hours. To me breathgasm is the adult version of that happy feeling when being tickled as a child. Dare to be silly!
It is time to take back our power. It is time not only to allow ourselves to be silly, but also to embrace our silliness, worship it, and infect as many others with it as we can. (Barbara Carrellas, Urban Tantra)
Always remember ... We Are Prostate. Resistance Is Futile.
I like to breathe into my stomach, letting my belly expand. This puts a bit of pressure on my pelvic floor and kind of sandwiches my prostate between the PC and Aneros and generates a nice warm pulse. Breathing is hugely important, and different breathing patterns will generate different results.
