I don't know if someone had found the situation where I'm in (for years now - I use aneors since 2012) and managed to get "past it" somehow.
In short I've had some "weak" dry os but they're extremely rare for me. I call them "weak" as they're much weaker/less pleasurable/satisfying than a normal ejaculatory orgasm, and so far I didn't feel anything "mindblowing".
But that isn't the question, but this one:
Like I said I generally don't have much reaction to the aneros. Most of the times it's just a small background pleasure and nothing else (I generally use do nothing approach).
However what is very common for me is that when I get aroused I get hard and my prostate (pc muscle?) and penis starts throbbing, something like once every 2 seconds. This can happen quite quickly in a session and lasts for some minutes before subsiding and happening again later.
When this happen I don't have pleasure, it's pleasant but I wouldn't call it pleasure.
In the rare cases I had dry os the physical reaction was exactly the same with the exception that was way more pleasurable.
Sometimes I also get into that stage where I start talking to myself and all that (the alteration of consciousness people talk about I guess?). When this happens I am feeling pleasure but again it's not as good as the few dry os I had.
So basically it's like my body is doing things "right" but actually I am not having much pleasure. I've had orgasmic pleasure from aneros but it's very rare. It feels like my body isn't fully interpreting the "dry orgasms" or something.
Did anyone felt something like this and if so did it "click" eventually? It's a bit frustrating as 8 years later dry os are still super rare for me and it feels like there's much more pleasure to get from this.

I'm 4 years in this Aneros play and I have had no dry or super 'O' at all as of yet but I do get constant and great pleasure waves both in my A-sessions and A-less sessions. They seem to grow in intensity with every day.
Yes, for the longest time, I was frustrated especially when reading about the great success of others having been at it for a fraction of my time until I snapped out of it and realized a few factors.
My take is that, even if I've not climaxed to the level of traditional orgasms, all the pleasures I do experience are sensations I never had before Jan 2016! The related pleasures have and still fill a huge void in my sexual life as I'm one of them in a sexless marital relationship. This is not a complaint but rather a thankful thought that I found Aneros!
Life is wonderful!
