Hello,
I'm new here, still feeling my way out. So has there been a poll or concensus on which aneros has worked the best to give the most orgasms? Sorry ifthis is an old question.

Next, is a coat of vasolene a good idea before the luve?
Thanks

I am also new here but here are my thoughts. I have purchased the MGX, Helix, Vice. The one I grab regularly is the Helix. The size seems to be just right, has good contact with the Prostate, but small enough that it moves easily. As far as lubrication, I began with the water based lubes, like ID glide. They contain glycerin which for me makes me need to have a bowel movement, usually 1/2 way through the session. This is even after thorough cleansing. I guess everyone reacts differently to glycerin. For me it also has a tendency to dry out, even with prelubing. I had the Vice inserted a few weeks ago and it dried up. Getting it out can be pretty painful. I have personally found that Vaseline works the best for me. I put some on a finger and insert it in my anus. Then coat the device liberally. It seems to have solved any of the problems I previously had. I also use a prelubricated condom with the Vice. I don't want a replay of it getting stuck.

Try Slippery Stuff Gel; it has no glycerin, is very anal-safe, and lasts a very long time. I've purged it out after a 6-8 hour session, and it's still wet, and slippery.

@intrigued75,
Given the fact of men's individual variations, it is probably impossible to reach any consensus of a "...best..." model. However, there are a couple of Polls which may interest you regarding members thoughts about their favorite models, see - Which Aneros gets the best ratings for its usage?, Which Aneros model is the best for a new user? and What is your favorite Aneros?.
@needit,
It generally takes me 30-45 min. to get sufficiently relaxed to have a good Anerosession. If I don't have a 90+ min, block of time available, I know I won't have a totally pleasurable time as I can fall into the trap of trying to 'push' or 'force' sensations to occur. Even when the time is available, if I'm not suitably aroused prior to the session, the session is likely to be a dud or only mildly pleasurable at best. One of the key truths I've learned from my years of Aneros use is you can not force or compell your body to respond to these massagers like you can with traditional masturbatory techniques. If the conditions are not right you are most likely going to be disappointed with a so-so session.

Due to my situation, I am forced to go to bed with it in, and I generally fall asleep with it in. But mind you, the first few times you will get very little sleep; you'll finally nodd off, when the Aneros will thrust itself into you several times, starting you back awake, all night long. Try utilizing the relaxation exercises with the contractions until you fall asleep. That might help. Remember to have a good BM and maybe a light enema before going to bed with the Aneros, or its mobility will be stifled with unwanted residue. (eeEEEeeewww!!!)

Slippery Stuff Gel. Thanks for the suggestion. I had searched to find some glycerin free lube and was unsuccesful. I'll give it a try.

badger, why do you say it is very anal safe?

i have always been shy of water based lubes as they are absorbed by the rectum and the ingredients are taken up in the blood stream, to be carried who-knows-where.

here is a link listing its ingredients: Buy Slippery Stuff Gel Personal Lubricant, Water Soluble Online at drugstore.com

have you looked into the safety of them?

here is a link describing one of the ingredients: Polyethylene glycol - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia . kind of hard to tell.

this one seems clearly safe: Methylparaben - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

i could not find much info about the other ingredient

This is why I like to go with natural oil based lubes. Mine being unrefined 100% shea butter that is pale yellow to white in color. (Now Solutions brand)
http://www.aneros.com/forum/f5/unrefined-shea-butter-how-much-12757/

In my own humble opinion, any synthetically made lube used for anal/rectum lubing is going to be more questionable as to it's long term health effects/consequences. That being said, Slippery Stuff Gel is my other anal lube used when I cannot use shea butter due to material interactions. Although in my own experience, shea butter performs much better as it does not suffer from the drying out problems on the external areas. Lube choices are very personal and you have to experiment to find what works for you.
