This may be helpful to beginners, but I haven't orgasmed from this Helix Sin just yet, so if you know more or are beyond my stage, it may be old hat. Still, I've picked up some things that are in alignment with helpful threads and tips I have read, but with some experience I have a few ideas that are more specific and personal for myself. I had some progress last night, with some micro pleasure flushes and oozing pre-cum, so I know that's much better than what I had the last 2-3 weeks, and I have a few ideas on how to be a bit more successful. I've used the device nearly a month, and having had hands free orgams in the past without the use of any anal device, I know on my 2nd attempt I was very nearly there, and that was my most successful use of the device. After getting worse things got mildly better last night, so that's encouraging for myself at least.

1. I've been trying on days I am mildly aroused and on days I am not (as I am aware, it is not impossible to get aroused or bring out an arousal through thoughts and stimuli such as this device, even if I didn't think I was aroused on a given day). However, if time is limited, I'd say do this test. Touch the underside of your penis and leave it there a little while. If it is sensitive and mildly pleasant, good sign. Watch something, listen to something, or read something erotic. Do you get any more pleasant feelings and pre-cum dripping out? If so that's an even better sign. You will probably have a pleasant session. I myself am doing this as a test only, I think jacking off is counterproductive to using the aneros. Further, this mild stimulation may or may not get you hard, it's the pleasant feelings and pre-cum that are the important indicators. The best full body multiple orgasms I've ever had, I was never erect once but oozed spoonfuls of pre-cum during the session.

2. After not too long, 10-30 mins, it shouldn't feel like just "something inside your ass." It should feel warm, that seems to be the first stage of pleasure. The movement should feel smooth, and not just to do with how much lube you use, as it never feels smooth when I first put it in even with plenty of oil, but if I'm going to have a better than not session, it should proceed to the warmth and feeling of small silky smooth movements. From there it loses the heat but gets just a hint of the wonderful agony/torture that leads to orgasm. I believe that is a step beyond the heat stage.

3. If you have good signs but it goes away, don't just leave it in more than 2 hrs or so to see if things get better again, it's just a waste of time from my experience. I have never had it improve once it has worsened, and even if it did, it's probably not worth the waste of time. MAYBE if I cut this finger handle off so I could sit on it comfortably, maybe THEN it'd be ok to go watch some tv and leave it in even after nothing good has happened after a reasonable period of time. And, we need to control this activity, not let this activity control us, especially if it's fruitless. It's not a retreat or giving up, just wise postponement until another time. If it's feeling good, even mildly good, that will be the encouragement your brain needs to continue. If you get no reward, you're probably teaching yourself to hate the device, which is counterproductive.

4. Ultimately, all methods become the "do nothing method" if you are going to proceed to good pleasure or even orgasm. This is true even if you get things started with kegel contractions, I believe eventually and even fairly quickly, you need to stop and see if your body will go on its own, and if not, consider trying again another time. Give it time though, as the pleasant and mild contractions can come minutes apart it seems. But, If you just bash your head against the wall doing kegel contractions *with the device inserted* and it doesn't proceed to some pleasant feelings, then a lot more kegels won't improve the immediate situation. It's more comfortable to do kegels *without* the device inserted so if you want to work on your muscle stamina, that is what I would suggest. In my experience, 30-50 percent of contraction strength, seems to work the best. A full contraction too hard and uncomfortable, and I think it kills the minute sensations your body needs to feel in order to progress to more powerful/pleasureful auto contractions. These you don't have to worry about they just go automatically, nothing for you to do or think about.

5. Caffeine is helpful, and is more pleasant than Yohimbe (an african herbal stimulant commonly available many places). Yohimbe seems to have more kick and gets your heart pounding more when stimulated. However if you try yohimbe start out by opening a capsule and trying 1/4 or 1/2 dose and proceed up, see how you do. The stuff can exacerbate anxiety and give you a very unpleasant day. This is not something to screw around with as it is very unpleasant to take too much, so try small amounts first. Also, seems like after I have used it a while, my body reacts less to identical doses, seem to get a bit of a tolerance for it. Don't take it it at night as it keeps you up maybe worse than caffeine, probably the earlier in the day, the better for your good night's rest!

having a comfortable position is pretty important, because it takes some time to get my aneros working nicely. I seem to prefer the fetal position to get things started, with the top leg slightly higher than the lower, this gets the aneros in a smooth feeling spot. When I stick the bottom leg all the way out it tightens things up and I think it's too much, too early. Also, staying in on position is not fun for me, so when I've gotten to pleasant feelings from the aneros, I like to switch to laying on the bed with a pillow supporting my lower back and my legs bent, just find the most easy and stable to support position. From here, if you slightly elevate as has been suggested on these forums, I get some tremoring/shakes. If i start out in this position, I do not get this activity. That's why I prefer fetal position to start. Once I'm activated and on my back, doing the slightest hip elevation gets a lot of movement from the aneros, a lot faster, and I was getting a lot of precum and pre-orgasmic sounds and grins last night! Didn't quite get there, and once things settle down, again I just give it up to try later that day (that gave another good session) or if it's late, try it another day. I'm really of the opinion that once your body says that's all, then that's all! Try later.
