It's been quite a while since I visited this forum, thought it might be a good idea to start visiting it regularly again.

I first started using the Aneros I think when I was around 19 (25 now) and have over the past several years been only using very infrequently for the most part. Sometimes I'd get back into the habit, but I usually wasn't using the device to very good effect. Often times I'd simply be using it while having typical masturbation sessions, but sometimes I'd try to be patient and lay in bed and try to find those savory feelings.

Sometimes I'd get to the point where I'd have tangible feelings of pleasure in areas such as my anus or my chest, but usually it wasn't anything consistent and it was difficult to reproduce and I'd fall off of using the Aneros again at some point.

The past week or so I've picked it back up again, which is a bit easier now because of quarantining. I've been laying in bed for at least an hour before typical masturbation, which is pretty similar to how I'd approach things previously at times. At least I've been consistent in having a session every couple days.

I think things might have ramped up like they have starting with my chest... In an Aneros session (and lately out of sessions) I breathe slowly and kind of downward, and sometimes do contractions and other times relax and concentrate. Lacking any real arousal at first in my first couple or so sessions, I started playing with my nipples. I hadn't done this sort of thing in some time, so they, along with the rest of my body, weren't very receptive yet. Normally I can get at least an erection and some of that traditional flavor of arousal from that, even if my nipples don't feel that much. I say that "typical flavor of arousal" because lately I've been getting that other kind of arousal you can feel in other places. I began getting those nice feelings in my chest/nipples simply by resting my wrists on my chest. I can now get pretty much the same sensations in my stomach by resting a hand over my bellybutton. Soon after that first session I'd get those warm pleasurable sensations in my chest, sometimes the pelvic area, and stomach.

Things have definitely progressed much faster than in most, if not all, my previous endeavors with the Aneros, with the pleasurable sensations being very concrete and disambiguous, and occurring frequently throughout the day outside of sessions. Sometimes the feelings are in my chest, stomach, and in different areas of my pelvis. These area the anus and where I suspect the prostate is, because the sensations are in varying locations close to or approximately close to the base of the penis. These feelings are sometimes kind of spread out and linger for a while, and sometimes they can get a bit more acute and concentrated in a particular spot for usually a brief instance. These feelings are warm and sexual, and bring about at times a sense of sexual gratification without the usual pattern of "scratching that itch" and having to wait again for the next time that comes from traditional arousal and ejaculation. Usually in the past the pleasurable sensations would be less frequent, less full, and usually leave me unsatisfied and somewhat impatient which wouldn't help with that "going for the cookie" mentality.

By the way, last few sessions I've had muscles in my body contract seemingly not voluntarily, usually during sessions. Sometimes it's my abs contracting, sometimes it's chest muscles or elsewhere. This seems to be in response to some of the sensations at times, though I don't feel as though the contribute to the sensations. I think they might actually get in the way of feeling the sensations at times, or that making a better attempt at relaxing might help to spur the sensations along. Anyone have insight into this sort of thing? (I suspect many of you do considering the nature of this forum.)

Anyway, I thought it would be a good idea to start visiting this forum again so I could learn a thing or two and hopefully keep progressing in what's been developing so far. Even as I type this, I've been feeling warmth and pleasure from my prostate, and it seems to be slowly building... I think I may have finally reached that fabled "prostate awakening" that's alluded me for the most part in the past. Then again, awakening the prostate might be more like a gradient and I simply hadn't gone this far along said gradient before. I dunno, but I'm pleased with what I'm feeling now.

Hi and welcome (back) to the forum, Jspad (@aneros_user88299), and good morning to your prostate. 😉 Indeed I'd call it a step in awakening your gland, what you have described in your post. Thanks for sharing all your intimate sensations.

Involuntaries are a difficult topic. You already mentioned they might get in the way of feeling your sensations. This mostly happens to me if I let my conscious mind take over command and let it support those contractions. If I try the opposite, to calm down those contractions, I often can distinguish better, which are really happening involuntarily and which are already supported by my conscious mind. Staying calm and nevertheless welcoming the real involuntaries paved my way.

After all, the true involuntaries help your body to find ways to stimulate your prostate. There are a lot of muscles in your abdomen who can do this for you and finally they will do it even without your Aneros tool and thus give you exciting Aless sessions.

A foretaste of what is to come, you've already experienced and in my blog and elsewhere you can read more about chairgasms, standinggasms, nipplegasms and so on.

Celebrating every new feeling, staying playful, inventive and nosy has helped me on my journey. I wish you the best for yours and can tell the best is yet to come!

Mart
