B Mayfield news ?

I've been on here since 2008.  I remember Brian.  I also wonder what happened to him.

Another name that was a major part of this community was ArcticWolves.  I used to talk to him on AOL messenger and such.  Good guy..  Just randomly disappeared one day.

Just read an interview of B Mayfield from 2006. At that time he was 48 and lived in north carolina. Apparently he's married. I would love to meet this guy or talk to him online, not even necessarily talking about aneros but just chilling

His real name is Forrest Andrews he has videos on this site and youtube.He works for Aneros,as a tester of new models.This came about as he was using a massager from the parent company HIH for relief from prostate issues and experienced a mind blowing dry orgasm on his first try as I understand it.

I think it was August 2008 when I registered.  But yeah..  I've used the products since 2008.  I have yet to have a Super O.

I honestly would say this was a much more active community back then.  I can at the very least say the chat room was used a lot more.  But I guess any lack of community now is due to the generalities of forums becoming "not a thing" with the boom of social media.  So, I would take a guess that the members on here are much older than those who were around before.

I don't know about B's situation, but when you brought up testers, it really took me back.  I remember back in 2008 when Aneros Support had an e mail where you can contact them about being a tester.  It didn't pay anything but did get you new products.  I was never one of the lucky ones to get selected.  I wonder how many testers were picked.

@nat interesting that the community was more active before. It seemed to garner more diverse responses back then, but I thought that was just because the posts had been around longer. It’s a shame social media detracts from this forum. I would love to see more of a community here.  People talk about reddit having a community but I still haven’t figured that one out, and I largely prefer this more sober “adult” feeling forum to the chaos of reddit.

I think the chat room was a big deal due to the style it was kept in.  Aneros Support would set up "chat events" and bi-weekly open chat on the weekends.  The events were cool because it gave new users the ability to ask questions to the experts directly.  If I remember right, all events were copied and pasted into the forum for future reference.  Since the forum was moved to a new style a few years later, I think a lot of those transcripts got lost.  I loved the open chat weekends though.  I would come in at almost any time and there was usually one or two people in there.  The chat room on the old forum was also less problematic (web browser wise) too.  But yeah...  Making it only a scheduled thing made sure people utilized it when it was open.

When you have a lot of younger members and a semi newer product (Aneros started in what... 2005?) you are always going to have vibrantly interesting enthusiasm.  We had a few members who would always video tape sessions to help newbs out.  Some used to create audio guidance.  You don't get that when the remaining community is a lot of multi year users of the products and random new users who are still trying to figure out what prostate message is. 

I'm an example of this.  I heard about Aneros on another forum.  So, when I originally signed up here, I knew nothing about the product.  I thought it was weird (but cool) to have a community around such a product.  It is basically what convinced me to go out and get one.

But when I click the links to those "chat transcripts" somehow all I got is "404 (Page Not Found)"

Oops, my bad, no you didn't do anything wrong. I don't know why those links failed to open but the transcripts of those chats are there and can be viewed. I've emended my post to just note that they are on the third page of the Aneros Chat Center Forum.

I sure missed that one...I had no idea Brian Mayfield was Forrest Andrews!  I heard him on SWE and Shameless Sex and remember thinking wow, they need that guy back and go into this practice a lot more in depth, or have a call in with him. So cool!
