April 15 was a major milestone for me, 6.5 years (yes : "six and a half" !) after having started Aneros practice. I have always been making progress during those long years, but the process was so slow ! When I read some posts reporting concerns because nothing happens after 2 months, I am afraid many newbies don't imagine the amount of patience needed - in some cases at least. A member has recently underlined that the super awsome stories we can read on this forum or on blogs can be misleading. I agree. See : I have never posted anything when I was struggling. How many of us are in the same situation ?. However, I agree that these stories are inspiring and if they had not existed, I would probably have quit long ago.
Anyway, last weekend, something completely new did happen to me. For the first time, my body took over when I got mentally distracted from the sensations. Normally, the dance would have stopped and I would have fallen asleep. In fact, it is my body which got me back to the sensations. And the dance style also changed completely. It was not a slow anymore, rather something like a jerk. The clamping was intense, the pleasure was deeper and even more so when I totally relaxed my muscles (which up to then would have lead the session to a halt).
What took me there ? I don't know precisely. Certainly the lengthy journey I have gone through. But it could have lasted several more years without surprising me. Special reasons might be :
- I had read Unfug's answer to Superorgasm about rewiring and had found it inspiring
- I had read Airbag's post about "lube may be over rated" and had tried Maximus Trident with just a coat of vaseline. I did not inject neither shea butter nor water-based lube. Maybe I needed something rougher to make me take off.
I also noticed that the breakthrough happened even though I had ejaculated 2 days earlier. I was surprised because I would have thought this was not a facilitating circumstance.
Since then, I have had two sessions of the same quality. I can feel energy spreading in my body, not everywhere but each time a little farther up or down. Anyway, the pace of progress seems rocket-like compared to what I have been accustomed to ! For the first time, I feel that one model (Maximus Trident) is acting incredibly more efficiently on me than others. I have bought several during those years and I have never had a favorite. (With maybe an exception for the small Peridise, but I've never considered it as a "real" Aneros). Since April 15, I have also ridden Progasm Ice Classic and Eupho Trident. Conclusion : at this stage, there is no comparision, MT is definitely the real thing for me !
To all those who are falling into despair, I want to say : don't give up ! I know how frustrating the journey may seem at times. But patience and obstinacy do pay. You are not loosing your time !
Congrats!!
So happy for you! I too am one of those long serving, dedicated newbies. I'm 9 years in (wow), and still haven't gotten to the Super O, but am being patient, and learning with baby steps.
Hey @Occitan ,
congratulations! I'm very happy for you and that my posts have an impact every now and then - went to bed with a big smile on my face after I read your post yesterday. 🙂
Cheers, Unfug
