ASMR - scalp tingles and their sexual dimension

Whoop Whoop, time for my very first thread! 🙂

So lately I stumbled upon a thing called ASMR (autonomous sensory median response). It was a bit of a revelation, that's why I wanted it to share with the community. In fact, I experienced this since I was a child, but this response was triggered very seldomly, that's why I forgot about it - until now.

So what exactly is ASMR? You know the feeling when very good music gives you tingles and chills? It's like that, but a bit more general. They are triggered by audiovisual input, such as hand gestures, crackling sounds of plastic, soft spoken voices, tapping on surfaces, brushes of all kind. There is a whole list of popular triggers, but they seem to work differently for every individual... like sexual fetishes. 🙂 ASMR-Videos are often roleplays, that put you into to the role of someone who is somehow surrendered but taken well care of. Like at the barber shop, medical examinations etc... and that's pretty similar to the aneros mindset.

The movement had a very remarkable growth in the last year and there are lots of youtube channels covering this already. So I guess it won't take long until the mainstream media will pick this up too. Practitioners often emphasize, that ASMR has no sexual dimension, but I guess this is a case of hurry ahead political correctness. I think this stuff can be very sexual and is a perfect set up for aneros sessions. Not only because it's relaxing, calming and soothing but because it brings you in the right state of mind. Lately I watch these videos on yt, while surf porn (multiple monitors ftw) and this combination is awsome.

But just see for yourself: this is the explanation video that caught my attention initially.

So yeah, tell me what you thing about this. Did you knew that stuff already? Do you think, this might be a helpful tool for sessions? Do you get them tingles (some people don't seem to get them and think it's all just weird and made up 🙁 )?

Cheers, Unfug

P.S.: meh, I did a quick search just to make sure that I'm not re-inventing the wheel and of course... this was a topic already 2 years ago... :(( All the writing for nothing... anyway, since only a few active members responded back them, maybe this new thread may bring attention to some people, that don't know this already (I just need a cheap excuse to make this post regardlessly).

Hey @HopefulMMOer,

thx for your reply. I almost got sad, because nobody bothered answering so far... So, did it work for you, did you get tingles? For me it seems, that one can cultivate that respectively getting better with it over time. Like with the aneros, it often starts small and subtle and then can grow into something that catches the full body...

Well the first thought to cross my mind when watching that YT link is how comfortable is Taryn Southern sitting in that chair, when I would be more than happy to offer my face or any part of my body front or back for her to sit on for however long she wanted. Preferably without clothing. Cause I'm nice:}

Hehe, she is quite a hottie indeed.

To me, ASMR is what did it.

I have bought an Helix Syn last september, and was moving positively trough the
« rewiring », without reaching the Super-O yet.

But i was getting close, I could feel it.

One evening in december, I by chance found ASMR on Youtube and noticed this was
provoking tingles quite comparable to the P-waves I felt in the Aneros sessions. So the next day, I organised an A-less session, with headphones and a Youtube ASMR film. Going through the relaxing cycle, gradually the tingles got stronger, and while they started in the neck and shoulder, i felt them following my spine down, and felt my prostate « wakening ». The ASMR noises (they call them triggers ) continued, but the effect was not only tingles, but also P-Waves, getting stronger and stronger.

And about 20 minutes into the session, triggered by a blowing noise, I exploded
into the long awaited Super-O, completely similar to what is described countless times by so many, shaking all over my body for minutes, and starting again almost immediately as it stopped.

In all, the session lasted one and half to 2 hours, with maybe 10 or 15 orgasm. It's needless to insist on the happy state I was in afterwards. I still have trouble believing it myself.

Since, I have been able to generate Super-O's easily with the Aneros, and overall these are much more intense and also more subtle at the same time, however the ASMR sessions keep being fun, because the triggers are sent at a fast rhytm, which makes the orgasms follow each other very quickly.

I only get interesting results with ASMR when I have been doing Aneros sessions
earlier, like one or 2 days before at the most. I believe recent prostate excitement resonates for some time, and makes it more sensitive, after which it gets back to a more « sleepy » state.

Life is full of surprises ...

Hey @polpopolleke2,

wow that's super cool. I didn't thought that ASMR could actually help with rewiring. I also figured, that pleasure waves and ASMR-Chills seem to have something in common and atm I try to trigger them simultaneously and somehow blend them - results are nice but not overwhelming so far.

Now have you officially tried yet during a session?

Well let's say semi-officially 🙂

I somehow have daily surfing routine (including /r/gonewild). And I recently combine this with watching asmr videos on a second monitor. The results vary: sometimes the tingles won't take off, sometimes it's the p-waves. Today (like 30 mins ago), strong p-waves and full body tingles fell together and this was really nice :). Since I totally lose focus (and time perception) when I encounter strong p-waves/orgasms, I can't give an elaborated describtion. On the one hand I wouldn't say that it's a blended experience, but rather two very nice things happen at the same time. Like... dunno... getting a blowjob and a neck massage. On the other hand, the tingles have a mental aspect (calm and soothing) that combines very well with the surrendered-ness (
