Hello,
I'm new to the forum, haven't purchased a unit yet but planning on it. My question is this...
As the title suggests, I'm curious to know if this unit can be used as a training tool to reprogram the body and learn to do things or improve upon things. For example...is it possible to train the body to have orgasms at will using this device. From what I've read it seems activating the prostate floods one with sexual energy which to me indicates potential to work with other tantric/taoist techniques. I remember reading about someone's experience where they would sit down to meditate and begin to feel orgasmic sensations. I also wonder if this same thing is true for females who awaken their G-spot. Like the "Super O" or prostate based orgasm, the G spot in a female seems to be known as one that involves the parasympathetic nervous system (PNS) (relaxing) rather than the sympathetic nervous system(SNS), (stress, fear, anger, anxiety).
Also I was wondering if the unit could be used to retrain the body to be less apt to orgasm from penile stimulation (and thus ejaculate). My suspicion is twofold. Firstly, if one experiences orgasms while relaxed and thus stimulates the PNS, then the ejaculation response ( being of the SNS ) would be suppressed, allowing for relaxed lovemaking of an unrestricted time-frame full of orgasms but not necessarily ejaculation on the male's part. Secondly, if the orgasms are either "full-body" or just of an increased intensity, then one might suspect that penile stimulation would be much lesser in comparison and thus wouldn't trigger the ejaculation response (SNS) as readily as one who hasn't awakened their prostate and trained their nervous system to handle higher waves of pleasure.
Also of course wondering what else this can do, it's potential on other areas as well. I'll stop here for now tho. So what're you guys' thoughts?
All is much appreciated

(P.S. the reason I ask about it as a "training tool" is because I don't like the idea of my sexuality being dependent on an object. My plan for buying a unit would be to see what initial results I can get with it and then try to mimic those results or get as close as I can without it, as I'm not a fan of depending on outside things)
Astral, Welcome to the Aneros Forums,
I'm curious to know if this unit can be used as a training tool to reprogram the body and learn to do things or improve upon things.
In a word, Absolutely!
...is it possible to train the body to have orgasms at will using this device.
That is probably a NO, "...orgasms at will..." is likely an unrealistic expectation. What you can learn to do is get your body and mind in the optimum frame of reference to allow mini-orgasms, dry-orgasms and the Super-O to occur. This process involves your "awakening" your prostate, listening to your body, becoming more attuned to the many subtle feelings being generated and then gently nurturing those feelings into heightened physical and emotional states. Each person is unique so the steps along the pathway will differ for each one of us, there is no ONE formula for progress. The prostate awakening allows your latent sexual/sensual sensibilities to emerge from their sleepy sub-conscious state. This energy you already have within you, it is not like the Aneros or any other device injects this energy into you.
Also I was wondering if the unit could be used to retrain the body to be less apt to orgasm from penile stimulation (and thus ejaculate).
IMHO, that's both a yes and a no. Learning to control your PC muscles does help delay the ejaculatory response when you learn to relax those muscles while experiencing penile stimulation. However it is necessary to balance the level of stimulation so as not push SNS beyond the point of no return. This may be difficult to accomplish if you are simutanneously stimulating both your prostate and penis. Initially, I think you will find such simultaneous stimulation will lead to an accelerated ejaculatory response.
Also of course wondering what else this can do, it's potential on other areas as well.
Regular prostate massage, besides being enjoyable, has health benefits too. FYI, High Island Health LLC is the parent company & manufacturer of the Aneros® brand of prostate massagers. This patented device was originally and is currently offered for sale as the Pro-State® line of massagers on the High Island Health website. The HIH website is primarily oriented toward the health aspects and benefits of prostate massage in accord with Oriental medicine for prostate related issues. A forum for users to discuss practice with these devices also exists on that website, I encourage you to check out that site to learn more about the health benefits.
P.S. the reason I ask about it as a "training tool" is because I don't like the idea of my sexuality being dependent on an object.
Many veteran users (even newbie users) have reported having learned and developed their practice to experience orgasmic feelings even without the use of their Aneros massagers. These are often referred to as "Anerosless" sessions here on the Forum, I invite you to read veteran 'B Mayfield's post,
ANEROS THE ONLY WAY TO FLY? ...REVISITED for just such an accounting.
P,S. 'B Mayfield' is the person who coined the term "Tantric Training Wheels" in reference to the Aneros
Thank You! While I disagree that orgasms at will are an "unrealistic expectation", I appreciate the info you have presented me with. I've been looking into B Mayfield's experiences and am truly intrigued.

At will in any situation in a heartbeat? no defiantly not.
Super backed up traffic or a long wait in line? Yes you can have fun there.
Really once you get there you can go with only mental focus, but you'll need to be sitting or lying down and likely need to close your eyes. It's a practice in it's own and there are things it can and can not do, recognizing limitations and appropriate situations is important.
Knowing your own body is everything to this endeavor of mental based pleasure, and learning with a device can help show you things you are unaware of and hard to find on your own.
To answer your question in 1 sentence: Yes the aneros's are all great training devices, however it is not an easy pursuit and takes dedication, as with all things there are limits.
Edit (wow really 10 min edit limit that's lame) : what can be accomplished really stems from your goals. I personally just like the internal sensation and focus on building that. I have spoke with another user that made it his mission to have a hands free ejaculation with the device and he has achieved that. It can help you learn a lot of things. Think of it like a class, the more effort you put in and the more you research/learn the more you can do with it.

I definitely can testify that I have had some aneroless experiences equal, and sometimes superior, to ones with Aneros in. I could never have had such pleasure without having "learned" it with Aneros.
