Apparently I signed up to be notified for any stock updates of the Vice 2 a long time ago. I got a message about it this morning, and I started thinking about the general guidelines for vibrators and Super O's. The words "overstimulating" and "Masking sensations" come up a lot. But what if you're like me, and your mind wanders a lot? Wouldn't a vibe help to pull your attention back?
Side note: Who's actually tried the Vice 2? Is it worth the $150? Is the motor strength any better than the decidedly weak OG Vice? How does it compare to the Lelo Hugo?

In the thread Identifying Obstacles to Progress, 'Mind Noise' was noted in addition to other psychological factors such as 'Attitude & Beliefs', 'Erroneous Knowledge', 'Obsessive Thinking', 'Expectations', 'Fears' and 'Impatience'. Each of those psychological issues can cause your mind to wander and be distracted from focusing on your body's sensations. Likewise, extraneous physical stimulation may also be distractive, it just varies from individual to individual.
Wouldn't a vibe help to pull your attention back?
Maybe and maybe not. If your mind is wandering due to any of the above factors, I'm doubtful that a vibrating massager is really going to make those things go away but it might be distractive enough to mask them from impinging on your session.

I have the Vice2 and if you enjoy the original Vice with Muze vibrator then you're going to love the new Vice2. Determining the 'worth' of any object is pretty much a totally subjective judgment, it depends on what your preferences are. If your preference is for vibrations then you are going to value this model, if you're not a fan of a vibrating massager then it probably is of lesser value to you.
IMHO, the Vice2 is a definite upgrade to the original Vice. There are several wonderful innovations incorporated in the Vice2. First and foremost, the remote control makes changing vibration patterns so easy compared with trying to sequence through the modes of the Muze's awkward to reach button. This feature alone is worth the cost to me. Secondly, there are more vibration patterns to select from (18 to be exact) and four different intensity possibilities. Thirdly, there are two motors instead of the Muze's one, this enhances the vibratory sensations deeper into the rectal canal and with greater intensity than the Muze driven Vice.
How does it compare to the Lelo Hugo?
I don't have a Lelo Hugo so I can't make a comparison on that topic. Good Vibes to You !
You don't have to answer every point if you don't have one.
I have the original vice and would have to say the vibration really didn't do much for me. The vibrator part quit working after a year or so and I was told by the company that they don't repair those. Disappointed for the cost of it.
I have the hugo and like it very much mainly because it has a remote and various speeds and modes. I guess if the new vice has those features it would certainly be an improvement.
All that being said.... the vibrations have never done much for me.... I feel on the lowest setting it is still too strong
