I have both Syn silicone-covered and the plain white plastic, because sometimes the silicone texture is an irritant. Plus sometimes I feel like the plastic ones are more responsive at times. I wonder if just having the tabs in silicone and the rest of the body a hard plastic would be a good middle ground.
I switched to the plastic. I notice they have better movement. Especially if you polish them up real smooth. Also I like a firmer P tab.
Back to plastic for me....
1. Can use silicone lube
2. Firmer 'Sweet Spot' contact
3. Involuntary muscles need less movement-tension to create the same pleasure
4. Way easier to clean
Interesting. I've been looking at the Progasm Jr. for my next toy which would actually be my first non-silicone model. It's great to read some alternate perspectives on this, where I always thought the Syn models were supposed to be the best (certainly more expensive).

"Best" is subjective in this case, I guess.
I love my EST. It feels wonderful and seems to go on its own. The shape is a great design and I like the flexible p and k tabs.
The original plastic MGX was my first Aneros. I liked it, but the p tab seemed thin and hard and I thought it would be better to have a ball shaped pressure point, but at the time, the progasm was the only option like that, so I bought it. I liked it but it was uncomfortable size wise for me. Then I bought the plastic Helix an liked it okay, but it never did it just right for me.
The white plastic MGX gave me my first super O and I still love it. If I purchase another device soon, it will be the white plastic MGX Trident or the pro jr, also plastic.
I also like being able to just swan with rubbing alcohol and I'm wanting to try silicone lube as well.
The white acetal or delrin whatever it is, is a great material for these devices.
Yes, progasm and progasm jr is a clear favorite, I scarcely use the syn models any more. Besides the size and sleek smooth hard texture, I prefer using silicone lube.
@regal13I have the MGXT and the ET,I like them both but they perform much better for me after I removed the K tabs.My only position is on my back.

I like when the tabs are kind of a curly "spring", or just something to keep it balanced, but pokey prodding things I don't like.
@evergreen interesting. I cut off the handle on my MGX first, and later on the Helix for the same reason. The EST is the only other one I have and it was love at first flex with the tabs. They didn't seem to get in the way on my back like the tails did and they flex.
I want to try every one they make, but I am very curious about the plain white Trident models because I love the springy feel of the one syn model I have.
I have the HST,the K tab helps to keep things centered.I think a P tab on the white models that was a little stiffer then the syn models would be nice.
@kaygo True, that's what this thread is all about, right? It's got me wondering if I might need to buy a few more toys now...
meh, i use to have the plastic aneros models, but i found that they are just to uncomfortable to me, no matter how much lube i used it always just felt unpleasant in me. I just stick with the Syn models like the Helix Syn and Eupho syn as those obviously feel 1000% better to me
I started out with a plastic model (Progasm Jr.) and am thinking about buying one of the Syn-models. I'm curious about a softer touch during play. Now's the question: Eupho or Helix Syn?
In my experience, every Aneros model has it's own unique properties. I have upgraded all of my old toys to the Trident versions, but I still have both the hard plastic and Syn versions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjVKUap1HgU
